You must state in your introduction letter that you need a year visa with valid reason

Hello guys,
I will appreciate if someone can kindly explain the sticker visa application process.
I'm seeing a link to download form on VFS site. Is it actually a paper form one will download and fill? Or this is an old process?
How will one schedule an appointment please? Also, do you have any idea of how early can one secure an appointment?
Is a physical portrait photo required? If yes, how many please? If you also have information on the fees to pay at VFS, kindly share. As one needs all the info one can get before going to those guys, who are notorious with extortionist practices.

I was once issued a 1-year SA visa like 3 years ago, I gave an agent to sort out then. I want to apply by myself this time around, is there anything I need to do to secure this 1-year visa again?

You don't need to be worried since you submitted a copy of your marriage certificate

You don't need to be worried about that since there is marriage certificate,but then I wondering why those at VFS didn't cross check to see if all sections were filled accurately,your marriage certificate will help.

Please I miss a question on my wife application form,the question is date of marriage and where? I didn't write the answer which was in the submitted marriage certificate,I hope it will not affect the outcome of application?

Well they don't do capturing for SA visiting visa, meanwhile that fee is outrageous,you could have done certified true copy + notarization for the birth certificate which is 2k

Another things that surprise me was that, they did not do capture biometric for us as its been done in u.k Schengen and other embassy, why?

Second thing is my two children birth certificate were also legalized for 14k, is this normal?

This is outrageous,you could have opted to do photocopies outside for #300 naira,they for the CAC you didn't need to legalize it, notarization is okay and it is 2k or even #1k @ main land, everything is expensive inside VFS,also normal submission is fine,no need for premium,those people are there to milk people out of their resources.it is well

I and my two kids went for submission today and we were giving crazy bill's today,they said couriers is compulsory 9000naita, we were charge for premium 18000naira all multiply by three. Applicant's, Photocopy color2k black and white 1k, another charges my husband C.A.C 7k for legalized and my children birth certificate 7k for legalized, pls house is this charges normal? As any anyone done cac legalization before at south Africa submission center,, they rejected our application when we refused to pay the crazy bills

For the sticker visa you don't need to submit your passport at VFS.

For flight ticket only a dummy ticket is needed.

2. The VFS platform is asking for flight ticket and hotel booking. How do I go around this when I am not even sure of Visa yet.

They are trying to dupe you, please apply normally, although the time is short,but try the sticker visa and e-visa to increase your chances.

The condition for E-visa extension is that an application must be submitted 60 days before current visa expires,I'm also just getting to know this,just a recent change, amazing,but you will not be able to travel outside the country until new visa is issued,but his visa is for a week hence I'm wondering the possibility,but things are changing anyway.

Trust me, somethings are just like that. I had the hint of a possibility on my last trip, but i am always cautious of these "clauses" on visas. I rather go back than give it a shot, that is me, however if the situation becomes unexpected, i sometimes may want to give a risk.

Not like i dont want to try it out, but Nigerians do not have a good image as perceived in SA, So i try to be careful in that country. I prolly will give it a shot elsewhere but definitely not SA as the case were.

Also, in recent times, there has been some bit of modifications on these visa conditions, though not widely publicized but you only need to inquire just as you did, so we may not be aware of some new updates unless someone shares it.

This is why we always encourage information sharing to keep us all abreast.

You can't extend an evisa(except they have changed the modalities),you can only extend a vignette visa(sticker visa).

Next time the person should enter via Cape town,they are immigrant friendly in Cape town, because it is a tourist destination.

A friend of mine was granted an e-visiting visa in May this year but he was denied access of entry at the point of entry in jobog airport

The reason is that when the visa officer call the hotel line on his hotel reservation. The hotel attendance replied that his (applicant) reservation was earlier cancel due to insufficient fund on his debit card.

Can he reapply to regularizes this issue

Hello house, I went to submit my SA visit visa at Lagos vfs on Monday. I paid #29.4k online before I could book time and date.
On getting to vfs, the guy that attended to me checked my documents and said I will be paying #37.4 then I challenged him to give me a full breakdown of what the 37.4k included. Then he started rambling and saying that's what people pay without asking questions but I still insisted on a breakdown then he wrote on my slip that visa fee was 24k and courier is 9.4k making 33.k instead.

At that point, I was angry and was about raising my voice and asking to see their manager then he quickly brought out POS and punched 19.4k (10.4k for visa fee and 9k for courier which was what I was supposed to pay. Then I paid.

Please you guys should be vigilant because these vfs consulars wants to reap where they did not sow.

BTW, I've not gotten any acknowledgement email or my application reference number from VFS since Monday that I submitted, please is this normal??

Why not apply for a sticker visa and get a good invitation letter from a conference or company,so visa can be easier

Yes you submit at VFS,there is visitors visa requirements list that is available to download on their website

They are different sticker visa(vignette) is stamp directly on your passport,while E-visa is electronic visa sent to you via a secure authorized platform.

the thing just weak me. If you dont use these visas, they will likely not extend it to a year. So you really have to use it well
