OJURONGBE1: Would that flop Havertz done better? You're comparing a player with over 6assists and 1 goal with so many chances created to a player who cannot stay on his feet? What runs has he been able to time? What contribution has he made to this squad ? If Chelsea hire any high profile Manager, Mason Mount would retain his shirt in the midfield. shalaye fans club |

StaffofOrayan: First, we have to realize a system is only as real as the belief you put into it,
I don't believe there should be any bloodshed in leaving a contraption that is obviously not working, killing each other with premium weapons supplied by our colonial masters, that solution seems to be left for black people, who never really fancied themselves anyway,
The solution is in Brexit, how that isnt frigging obvious even to the seemingly educated is a mystery, why do we keep pretending like God created Nigeria and our suffering?? bro..I'm a Yoruba too and I'm pro Yoruba as well..but oduduwa republic will be a disaster.. imagine sharing the same country with tinubu(or his type) and his supporters? imagine if they are the people with power? where they beat and chase away voters every election or turn the nation to banana republic hunting down every perceived opponent? I will never feel safe sharing country with this bunch of people.. truth be told Nigeria is masking a lot of issues in SW |

airmark: Thank you for confirming that Bruno Penaldes dropped 'disasterclasses'.
Ziyech hasn't dropped disasterclass yet, so don't bring the Pk expert near him. B is not the alpha, Z is the omega, the last breed with Robben and Messi's genes. bro, are you really sure you are OK? |

Melvyn11: Your Goalkeeper had more difficult saves to make than Martinez. You where just blasting shots from long range. 9/10 pogba score his chance and its 3-1.. btw I'm not a united fan..just prefer them to city or Liverpool. |

eph12: Our quick play makes for great counter and looking more likely that out team is set up this way against any decent team. But poor decisions kill most of the counters even before they become threatening and it's frustrating to watch. It's almost like we turn over the ball easily and then put pressure on our defenders to win the ball back because our attackers hardly ever win any ball back or apply any decent pressure don't be deceived by the scoreline..their goal keeper was the one who made the game close with those saves....united deserved the win..another day this comfortably ends 3-1 or 4-1 |

nickvanilla: I think in Europe, apart from the UK, it's kinda difficult to blend into the legal culture. Then there's the issue of language barrier. Law is a profession where your ability to manipulate words cleverly is a required skill, either when writing or speaking. How would a Nigerian lawyer move into a country like the Netherlands and start practicing? Very difficult I must say.
It's possible to switch professions anyway to something relevant to the local economy. But I've observed that most schools would want you to study something related to your first degree. So moving from law to a STEM course is more possible with private universities where they are after your money.
UK, Canada, USA remain the best destinations for Nigerian lawyers, yet the competition is so fierce as other International trained lawyers in Africa, Asia and South America are also moving there in droves.
So to sum it up and advise, I would say attend a private university and study a STEM course if you've got the money. If your pocket is not so deep, then you should go in to your desired destination with the aim of continuing your legal practice. You know you have to be willing to give 159% to stand out from the crowd. Who knows, you may be blessed with a favourable return. Gentlemen at the bar, I wish you all good luck!! thank you sir! |

I am a law graduate with my LLB degree(no law school yet),however I have another skill in fashion design, over the various ASUU strike over the years, with the help of my parents, I got additional fashion design cum tailoring skill in a reputable fashion school in Lagos. I have about 3.5 million at present(though I can hustle more if needed) I will be glad if experience members of this section can educate me on my travel options since my first degree is not part of STEM.
N.b pls sir justwise I will be glad if this can be moved to front-page for more views..this is due to the fact that a lot of law graduates will also to travel out but most of us are always confused as to our options(since we aren't part of the STEM)...besides I've searched for whether I can see similar threads opened by law graduates to sought for similar advice but non really reached anywhere. Thanks and God bless. |

T9ksy: ....and there are those, like your good self sir, who believed if they can't rule in yoruba's heaven would rather rule in nigerian's hell as you did both as a military head of state and a civillian president under, of course the tutelage of your fulani organ master.
Unless you can convince us with empirical evidences that both times you presided over the affairs of nigeria was progressives to yorubaland, using standard gauge-Awo's legacy. In that case, i will have no other option than to say that you are indeed, "nigerian first and yoruba second". well you can also flip it and say politics itself is a game of personal i interest.... |

LegendHero: You can fight for Nigeria interest and still be conscious of serving Yoruba interest.
It is only the Southerners that always think that you must forget your source because you want to be pro-Nigerian, the Northerners understood that game better than us. northerners will always get away with some things southerners can not...that was one of father kukah admonition the other day. a southerner can never afford to be nepotistic or clannish.. besides like I said in previous quote of you obj did some things for SW just that there wasn't much publicity for them..the sango ota axis in Ogun state is one example. |

LegendHero: Ebora Owu.
Although I don’t seems to align with your political school of thought but anyone saying you’re not Yoruba deserves to be taken to Aro and locked up forever.
With regards to the philosophy you mentioned, it’s an insult to even compare you to Awolowo because what Awo did for the Yorubas several decades ago, you haven’t done one-tenth of it so it’s better you continue to claim that nationalistic ideology like you always do. but the ota-sango axis became what it is now due to OBJ effort..so its not really that true to say obj did nothing in SW. |

Iamgrey5: He clearly said he couldn't have fought to keep Nigeria today in one decade and fight to break Nigeria just two decades later.
He said the ghost of the soldiers that died fighting together with him to keep Nigeria as one country will haunt him. I love your simple explanation.. kudos |
