Provoked by not being able to enjoy freedom TOTAL package, and not ready to format my system, I dug and gud deeper till i struck GOLD. haha Don't get your hopes HIGH, I'm not talkin about the Premium packages oh, cos i have also given up on that (for now).

I found out that you can now use your freedom software on your system without need to set up all other applications to connect through freedom,
I mean there's no need to set 127.0balah 8080 anymore. just run YF and fire ON. Its a process called OPen VPN, thus creating a newVirtual Private network. I dont want to type much, or raise another arguement about this, so i used it as TODAY's Update at My INFORMATION CENTRE www.naijainfo .tk

So check it out and you'll find it as another easy way to use freedom. with this, your anti virus, forex platform, windows updates and more all connect without any special settings,

wat about vouchers. anyone checked dat out yet? googled some out but they were not valid

Guys, An observation here.
I started my second "Test drive" last night by 7 pm. I didn't have time to end the session before the 4 hour mark. so i guess it expired by its self. This morning, i logged in using "free user (64)" cleared my cookies, and started another TOTAL 4 hour session. to my greatest suprise it still works. and i don't use the ghost partitioning tool either.

@ boss T. Look at it this way. When i run my download manager it takes about 12-15 streams, cos it connects to different locations to get the file it downloads. while that is runing and i try Opening google it never loads, because the streams limit has been exceeded (10 - Limited to 64 free user.)
But with the premium package (trial) you get 200 streams + UNLIMITED (Not 64 k).

@ dual core. Its should be clear to you by now that some of them will never get what your trying to say. you can still continue the spoon feeding, but i'd suggest you give it a rest. cos 64.0k is kinda OK for them, as long as it connects Yahoomessenger, and loads webpages withing seconds (5-10s). But getting that premium wont be bad at all. Trust me I'm On IT.

@ Just2nice. PLEASE i beg you to get your facts right before you lay false accusation. I replied to a post stating that "I dont even have a GLO line, not to talk of the FBT". I just don't have any particular interest in that Network. so i wonder where u saw me talking about glo FBT. Its not even a topic of discussion in my Site,

@ bossT, the draging of the bar makes no difference. Because once Yf connects it still sets the speed to defualt 64.0k

You all have spoken well (your opinions). but the problem is that all these opinions above came from either a programmer's or webmaster's point of view, but the fact (truth) is IE still RULES 98% if not 99% for the COMMON MAN. lol
I mean lets face it, we all are users of Xp/vista OS whose default browser is IE 6, so its just our curiousity and love to technology that gets us upgrading to FF, IE8, Chrome, etc. currently i still run IE 6 (crazy browser way), Opera (for downloads resumption.) and FF2 for proxy connections (8080's), so i haven't actually expirienced any of its so called add-ons. Have tried to get chrome, but i get impatient with the download process and exit it.

Tell you what. as soon as post this, i'm going to download Chrome, FF3 and IE8, expect my personal opinion after a week of testing.

@ engihamid, about that 500 Issure, i wil be the wrong person to ask that one, Cos right now on My MTN line connected to pc i have 0 naira, because i always transfer my chips to another line before connecting. as for my zain Lines, I have never recharged any of them since i bought and activated them.
as far as i know, connecting to pc when u have credit is not wise at all. I have never tried it.

For me, Nairaland "was" my favourite website. now it has become a habit that is so difficult to drop.

Ho, this thread how would i ever forget you, It was this thread that helped me with its images that illustrated the phone and pc connection procedure, i think it was around page 2 to 4 then. generally, All dial up connections have one speed, it think its 64kbps or 56kbps, the 115kbps  for nokia phone's and the 20000 kbps shown by my motorola is just the highest rate of transferm (files or data packets) the phone can handle with the pc,
as for 8080,  since most of us use it for free without purchasing a voucher, it restricts ur speed (bandwith) to a maximum of 64 kbps , but  i dont think 8000 has any of such restrictions

@ semid,  i think they (including my self) got the message clearly, as well delivered by Dual core himself, laying more emphasis on it is welcome,
This will be a real Blow for those who just can't keep their fingers still,  and want to encrease their post count by all means, even if it means replying "hhmm" to every post.

@ all, To avoid double/triple post when you are on mobile, Please copy what you have typed, send, if you get an error, try refreshing the page to check if you post has already gone, before resending the post, because phone connections usually send the post, its during the page retreval process that the error often comes up,

@Fdigital, Na u F Up, when i finish my work for customers, I often Open add and remove programs keep, incase them talk story, i just click Uninstall and remove every thing. and set everything to normal. call it wickedness or what ever,
And another style that always works for me is to set the initial prize very high, so that ANYHOW they price come down, the money still go dey reasonable enough, I often start with 25K. then at last we fit conclud for 15 k+. how u go say 9K.

I dont know about makomio, but for me, its not unemployment, i mean why do a job for 5k a month when i can make 15k in a day from FBT??

to use download manager,(IDM), DAP, FDM, orbit, utorrent, bearshare, etc,  just configure them to use proxy,  You can find their proxy settings in their respective advanced settings, or network settings, try before u ask

@jwizy'. thats why i neva use pc suit, i only use the drivers, see connect ur phone, then exit pc suit frm system tray, go to control panel, phone and modem options, modem tab, then double clik on ur installed modem , i beg my hand don pain, meet me for YIM , I'LL tell u how to create a dial up connection without using pc suit

D-Expl, I agree with u to a certain extent, But lets face it, its not all in here that actually do research, . I have tried to define the meaning of the word sometime but ppl stil think its just testing softwares to see if it connects,
ppl who just get fbt info from another person are likely to sell it at a cheap price like u said or make it free, and 98% of us here get FBT from another person, that doesn't mean they dont value it or they are poor, its just the feeling that comes with being called a "good name" here on Nland.
And yes its also known (not to many) that FBT not Shared Lasts Longer,
