I remembered Seun asking and whining the makinde faction why INEC is yet to update the Turaki Turaki as PDP chairman on INEC website.

That's good for PDP, the new faction is just like stones in PDP's rice that won't allow them enjoy their rice in peace. That party must move forward while reconciling other aggrieved members that are open to reconciliation. PDP still remains the only political party with constitutional spread in Nigeria. What is happening in Nigeria is glaring to the world, intelligence agencies have the fact already, just look at the number of clergies that were kidnapped just last week alone. So, whether it is religious incited or not, our govt have shown that they are not capable of defeating or degrading this menace.

Oga abeg read well, was it the barricade that caused brake failure? The barricade was installed to prevent access to trailers plying that route and not the cause. It's appalling how Dangote truck is in the news every now and then as if it's the only user of our roads, an urgent step needs to be taken to forestall this menace.

It is not what anybody eats that defiles a man rather what comes out of him, in as much that it is not poisonous EAT. Ceremonial and mosaic laws are quite different from moral laws just as some cultures in Nigeria forbids eating monkey and pigs and some other animals so was it also in Israel those days. Moral laws are what you see in Exodus chapter 20, which Jesus came to perfect and summarize in Matthew 7:12 and Paul in Rom. 13:8-10.

Sure that is always a worry but we have never had a decent culture of proper collection of taxes from those who can and should pay it.

I feel we should begin from that point at least and then play our part challenging Government to spend what is collected judiciously.

What we have now is condemnable i.e a situation where tax collection is lax and virtually non-existent because Government is too focused on oil income to care about other legitimate avenues of raising money to use developing Nigeria. The principle of collecting tax efficiently is sacrosanct to all serious nations of the world.

When Nigerians cry of hardship, they tell them to endure while they spend lavishly, borrow and impoverish Nigerians the more, is there any sympathy still left in them?
