The President is just being petty, whether he likes it or not ,labour unions are the voice of the masses. Since the govt is always quick to compare Nigeria with other developed countries, permit me to also compare what is currently happening in Nigeria with other developed countries, would their not have been protest? So he expects Nigerians to suffer and smile? If the govt claims he is doing something and the masses do not feel the impact of their interventions, should the masses keep quiet? I really think immediately people get to position of authority they loose their humanity. So labour should wait for four years before they express their grievances or displeasure?

Remember a primary was conducted where Shaibu was declared winner even before the one that declared AIghodalo was conducted, so suffix to say all three major political parties have parallel candidates. Not a good atmosphere for democracy in Nigeria.

How we keep electing these kind of insensitive leadership baffles me, the other day he was mocking Nigerians with the tag "let the poor breath", and now this? Nigerians are not concerned with whatever "effort" that has not worked any positive result since 8 months when this administration came in.

If he truly indeed met an empty treasury, must he add to citizens predicament? Why not look for a.way to manage Nigeria like he was alleged to have managed Lagos? He was advised by his team not to remove fuel subsidy yet but he feels he is Jagaban nothing will happen, now the country is in a mess he can't handle. Aare if the Treasury is empty where is the money they've been wasting and transferring from amongst their croonies coming from?

Yea@ bold. I was with some farmers last week who were very happy a basin of garri is now sold for almost N12,000. They were pointing out to me how they sold a basin of garri for N2,500 in 2018. How garri business has become so lucrative due to rise in dollar and subsequent rise everywhere else.

Same land, same cassava stem for planting, same planting techniques with adherence to the planting season, yet, in a space of 6yrs, garri price have quadrupled.

Na we dey do ourselves.

Dismiss these errant ones, and give an order that their pictures to be pasted in all divisions of your force nationwide, as well as the offences committed, so it would create fear in the minds of the rest of your men. That is the only way the NPF can reduce these menace. The fight against corruption should also be REAL and thorough because news of billions changing hands and growing legs will keep encouraging the masses to enrich themselves in whatever way or means they deem fit, finally citizens should be wary of those they elect into power. By now I do not think it's healthy to elect or appoint anybody who has any corruption case(s) hanging around his/her neck.
