"The civil war ended many
decades ago. How did they sit back and allow a
few mean greedy and little-minded
kleptomaniacs from their own tribe reduce
them to a charity case in other lands"

Bad leadership and kleptomaniacs are symptoms of the disease called "one Nigeria", it has been ever present since the birth of "one Nigeria" in 1970, it is not an Igbo thing, it is a contagious disease that came to Igboland, no thanks to Igboland being part of "one Nigeria".

Tinubu, Obj, Ibori, Igbinedion, Alameisaigha, Atiku, Alao Akala, Ladoke etc. All these men have on thing in common, and they are not Igbo men.

Obioma is silly to make it seem like it's only Igboland that is plagued with bad leadership, like the rest of the country all have angels leading them.

What exactly does Obioma mean by Igbos being reduced to charity case in other lands?
Are Igbos in non Igbolands being fed by their hosts? are they being housed for free? Or given free education?

What exactly is that airhead of a woman talking about, or she just want to please her Yoruba boyfriends?
Tinubu is a bad leader yet he is taking Lagos to greater height.

Lagosians will suffer under PDP govt –
Osinbajo
APRIL 9, 2015 : ENIOLA AKINKUOTU

Prof. Yemi Osinbajo
The Vice President-elect, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, says
he fears that the people of Lagos will suffer
underdevelopment if they vote for the Peoples
Democratic Party on Saturday.
He said this during a meeting with the members of
the Nigeria Union of Teachers in Lagos on
Wednesday.
Osinbajo, who was Attorney-General and
Commissioner for Justice for eight years in Lagos
State, said the PDP-led Federal Government had
always been wicked to the state, depriving Lagos of
federal projects.
Osinbajo, who is a Senior Advocate of Nigeria, said
he was the one that represented Lagos at the Supreme
Court when the Federal Government illegally withheld
local government funds belonging to Lagos.
He said Lagos had continued to suffer as an
opposition state, adding that now that the APC had
taken control of the Federal Government, it would be
unfair for the people of Lagos to remain in the
opposition.
He said, “One of the great opportunities today is the
fact that we now have the centre and we are in control
of the Federal Government. It is a very crucial
moment in the history of our state because this state
has always provided leadership and direction in
Nigeria.
“But we have always suffered because we have always
been in the opposition. Everything we have done has
always been at a great cost. As Attorney-General in
this state, I was in the Supreme Court almost 12
times, fighting for the rights of our state and each
time we had to go there, we knew we could have
settled it if we were in the same party as the centre.
“In 1999, we started a 270 megawatt Independent
Power Plant in Ikorodu, which was the first in
Nigeria. When we installed it, we thought it would
provide Lagos with power but the Federal
Government said no and that we should connect it to
the national grid despite the fact that we paid for it.
“If we were in the same party at the centre, this would
not have happened to us.”

Any Igbo that supports or buys into this project is an ass! You support this project today and tomorrow they'll tell you it's all theirs and that you should fuc/k off back to the east!

I can bet my bottom naira that the choice plots will first be given to the likes of Tinubu, his family and friends; then next in line will be his wealthy Yoruba kinsmen (after all they are the owners of the land); then the rest of us will be thrown the scraps to fight over! You can never get an equitable situation with this project as say like in Abuja......quote me anywhere!

I believe Yoruba and their Fulani friends are enough to sustain this project! Igbos should instead think home/think east as they've been adviced!

PoliticsAjimobi Commissions Largest Water Production Scheme In The State, by solapex(op): 4:53pm On Jan 06, 2014
The Oyo State Governor, Abiola Ajimobi, has commissioned an ultra-modern water treatment plant at the Asejire Water Scheme, which cost 262 million Naira, putting an end to 17 years of epileptic water supply to the people of the state and neighbouring towns.

The scheme, which has a production capacity of 186,000 cubic meter of water per day, is the largest water production scheme in the state, supplying potable water to 85 per cent of the entire populace in Ibadan metropolis, as well as the communities of Ikire, Ikoyi and Apomu in the neighbouring Osun State.

While commissioning the scheme, Governor Ajimobi expressed gladness that the water challenges being suffered in the state would become a thing of the past.

He said that when his administration came into office, water situation in the state was deplorable and the Water Treatment Plants had reduced in production performance to about eight per cent, due to “un-imaginable neglect by past administrations and the managerial deficiencies of erstwhile operators.”

The Governor added that the last time the plants witnessed installation and construction was seventeen years ago, as they were constructed and installed in 1972, 1991 and 1996 respectively. Apart from the old age of the equipment, other factors that led to the decline of water production at the Water Scheme included lack of spare parts for maintenance and persistent interruption in power supply.

The analysis, he said, had led to award of contracts for the construction of Ayete Water Supply Scheme, to supply water to Tapa, Idere and Ayete Communities; dedicated Power Line to Saki Water Supply Scheme, rehabilitation of Dedicated Power Line to Ogbomoso Water Supply Schemes, extension of pipelines to New Areas throughout the State, upgrading of Water Treatment facilities at Koso and Atori Waterworks in Iseyin, Comprehensive replacement and repair of all electro-mechanical components at all Water Supply Schemes and Booster Stations in the state, upgrading and rehabilitation of Oyo Water Supply Scheme, rehabilitation and upgrading of Igboho Water Supply Scheme, expansion works on Igbetti and Ogbomoso Water Supply Scheme, revalidation of construction of Ilero Water Supply Scheme, laying of New Rising Mains from Eruwa to Igboora (Phase I & II).

In his remarks, the General Manager of Water Corporation of Oyo State, Mr. Gabriel Oguntola, said that the project was awarded six months ago by the State Government as part of efforts towards increasing the volume of potable water supply to the people of Ibadan metropolis.Eight out of the ten pumps were rehabilitated with 100 per cent efficiency, while all critical water treatment units are now functioning well.

The rehabilitated and upgraded water treatment plant, he said, would increase water production from 10 per cent to 80 per cent production capacity and would also eliminate incidences of waterborne diseases. The plant could conveniently supply about 150 million litres of water to about four million residents of Ibadan and its environs on daily basis.

PoliticsRe: The Population Density Of Igbo Land by solapex: 7:16am On Dec 27, 2013
obitwo: You're dense and brainless I must admit.

Maybe you don't understand what is meant by population density. You better read up

Which city will be denser?

A 10sqm city with two million people or a 10sqm city with eight million people

Tokyo is smaller than Lagos but more densely populated

Population density is simply the number of people divide by the landmass

So if Oyo and Anambra have the same population, Anambra will be more dense because it has a much smaller landmass

If you don't get this, then I can't help you

Besides you took the google image of Oyo from a higher elevation

Back to my original post, the SE has a higher population than Oyo State

Oyo State and the whole of the SE have about the same landmass

Therefore, the SE is more densely populated

Besides not everything you see as green in a Google Map is uninhabited as some are farms.
Guy you know book die. Don't mind that olodo rapata
