I've noticed that some of our GSM service providers allow adverts to our numbers through SMS or even phone calls with recorded messages.

There are times when one is expecting an important call or SMS and this funny 4 to 6 digit numbers just pop up with their messages.

I'm a software engineer and I'm really starting to get tempted to write some code to be screening off calls and sms from funny numbers.

Are you experiencing the same thing?

If yes, how do you cope with it?

There is no minimum or maximum for any project (number of platforms irrespective).

Project pricing should be done based on the amount of work you think is involved in relation to how buoyant you think your customer(s) is/are.

if I'm to do an app for a school teacher at suleja grammar school I can charge 1k.

I'll charge the president 100M for the same app.

I wouldn't do a 1k app though, just used it for an example.

you'd need more than just a developer.

You need someone that can build mobile apps.

You need someone that can build server apps.

And you'll need someone that can build you a gateway from internet to PSTN (Public switched telephone network). PSTN is the network for you gsm, lan line and so on.

It looks like a minimum of 3 months which will consist coding and testing.

are they interested in contract jobs?

can you shed more light on your requirements?

and also a timeline would be nice too.

simplicity:

1) a system that would register lecturers

2) register courses

3) register lecture rooms

4) register student groups that would be attending the courses

5) register lecture times in such a way that a lecturer would not have course lectures times classing, different course will not class against a lecture hall, all student groups will not have lecture times classing.

6) provide a schedule for lecturers to view lectures courses and lecture rooms in their respective interests

7) provide a schedule for student groups to view lectures courses and lecture rooms in their respective interests
