Well, she is smart and doesn't want to seem cheap but yes, there are women like that who just love the thrills of being gawked at or the attention that comes with being the focus of someone they are attracted to or like but doesn't really mean they want to bed the person. In her case, she has more to lose if caught cheating than Alex. But for her, she might just need Alex to prove himself and still be in that region of being responsible and who knows, her stance might just change. At least, she told him subtly the kind of man that attracts her but naive Alex doesn't think towards that yet. But with women, it's never 1+ 1.
