I am presently not with the Mechanic so I am stating what he told me via phone.

The engine had been removed a long time ago, about 8months now. I had initially wanted to ring it but felt discouraged and decided to rather buy a complete engine. Meanwhile I had sold the old engine as scrap and the vehicle left like that without engine.

Last week I sent money to the mechanic to get the Engine. He got it, fixed it and said he needed a car electrician to fix the electrical. I called one that I had, who came and tried to fix the electrical but he said that the former engine had one "sensor" while this new one had two "sensors" but that he would see what he can do about it. He went to Ladipo and got another sensor. For two days now he(electrician) had been working on it and yet to get it right.

According to the mechanic, the engine cranks but will not start. The electrician has told me that he wants to consult his boss to know what else he can do.

I feel the electrical guy does not fully understand the vehicle. So I am looking to get another car electrician who is more experienced in this type of vehicle.

Kindly help a brother with the contact details of a good electrical guy please.

PS: The vehicle is in Lagos.

Engine light came on is normal when there is a fault and you will have to scan to know the problem.
It can be as simple as the gas cap not put back on tight(click)

Car not going to reverse, have to check your transmission fluid level and color, and state if your mechanic worked on your car recently or change the gear/transmission fluid.

Chrysler/Jeeps can do self diagnosis by turning the keys on in certain sequence, follow steps on this site

Concerning Greenhouse farming, my take is that any Nigerian farmer wishing to use such should ask him/herself some pertinent questions such as:
1. Do I really need a Greenhouse given our climatic conditions?
2. Can I afford the present one being sold by Dizenghof
3. Are there alternative means of constructing such Greenhouses from available local materials? etc etc
I'll try make I put concerning the third question. We as a nation are resillient and resourceful. I have had the opportunity to see Kenyans constructing cheap green houses from local materials that are also available here in Nigeria. Though their climates are similar to Nigeria's their cold season could be quite colder than ours. That said, the frames of the structure was made from wood, the roofing and part upper walls from Tapaulin and the rest wall from strong insect nets....all these are available here.It may not look like that of Dizenghoff but it will serve I assure u. All that needs to be added(which Dizenghoff adds to shoot up price) is the training on seedlings, crop cultivation, soil preparation, disease control, crop monitoring, irrigation etc.....common guys let's dig deep into our Naija spirit....we can do it.

OP, I really do understand how you feel right now, more also I feel your aspirations. What I would advise you to do is as follows:
1. Determine in concrete terms, what you want for yourself. Your wanting to work "even if na farming or computing" is just not good enough. What really do you want to do? Do you want to remain in the banking sector? or move out and farm or do work in in computing? Do you want to seek another employment or be on your own? Just determine what you want and make it concrete...dont be indecisive.
2. Determine your strengths and weaknesses: Are you a good business person? Answer this carefully as experience has shown me that most bank workers are cocooned in the banking world and dont know a thing about business. If you are not, dont venture into business. Are you a risk taker? Have you got any saved-up capital to start business or can you borrow to start business? Two good things you have working for you are that you are young and have a small family, so your zeal to excel should be higher and you dont really have much overhead expenses as such(Thats if you are not the bread winner of your extended family).
3. How have you empowered your wife? Is she working or not? If she aint, get her empowered, fast.
4. Should you decide to disengage and start on your own, make very sure you carry your wife along your whole plan. Ask her to allow you cut down on expenses and responsibilities for a year or two(depending on agreement) and use that time frame to work your self to your bones

The ease at which Ray Rice retaliated, shows that he has an anger issue and had been violating that lady prior to the incident captured on CCTV. A professional football player, or any man against a woman, even if provoked, is a mismatch no matter how one looks at it. That is the standard. Nothing double about it!
