Yeah nwanne the jet-steps were built by Innoson, that's why their brand is there. IGBOSON1: The Governor stated he patronised INNOSON in procurement/fabrication for the airports’ construction. Did INNOSON build those aircraft steps? If so, then my admiration for the coy just increased!
It’s important we get a viable steel plant in the south-east! I gather the steel beams for the roof of the terminal...Obiano insisted they source those from Aba. I’m guessing this was due to the COVID restrictions in procurement at the time, as well as to cut cost!

No one needs any suggestion from a demonic night owl. Your advices are not needed, take it back [s] mktinsight: We need gas pipelines to major cities. Waiting for FGN is waiting forever. Buhari has already started routing ND gas to Kaduna, Kano and Katsina how many hundreds of miles away. Meanwhile, Onitsha is just 43 km from the shell pipeline network. Once you have the gas you can generate power for an industrial cluster or even a government layout. This is what is happening at Oregun Lagos and Obama, Ogun state. [/s] |

You are very correct. Your post is apt. gordonbarrett: Kumasi International Airport. Started in 2018, to be completed sometime this year. Valued at $300m. Being built by the Ghanaian Federal Government. Runway length of 2.3km. If you compare to that of Anambra State, you see the reason for the noise. Meanwhile, they are yet to build there tower, after three years.
Wasn't a fan of Obiano before, but based on this and the easy for us travels who usually go through so much stress going to Asaba, he has scored 90%. |

stinflame: Sorry to tell you,but no airport project in Nigeria is state built, every single dim spent will be reimbursed back by the federal government, which might even be in 5yrs time. But this one is solely federal and it was captured in last year budget Stop spewing nonsense. Anambra international airport is being built by the state government. Tell your incompetent governor to start working and stop making excuses for him

Remove Lagos which is the former capital Nigeria, there's nothing like development in yoruba land. This is typical SW, do you call this development? From Osogbo to Ibadan to Ado Ekiti, Abeokuta and Akure, they are all villages filled with mud houses and rustic brown roofs Focusmind: All these are not necessary. I don't know why you guys have made chest beating a hubby. The southwest you are castigating is playing host to a lot Igbo owned businesses that cannot survive in Igbo land. The SW still control and host 70% of Nigeria corporate business and one of the most developed regions in Nigeria according to UNDP report.
See politicians as your problem and not some folks from the SW or North. Be liberal and eschew bitterness and hatred. You have a common enemy- your leaders.
