More from the visit

The Governor stated he patronised INNOSON in procurement/fabrication for the airports’ construction. Did INNOSON build those aircraft steps? If so, then my admiration for the coy just increased!

It’s important we get a viable steel plant in the south-east! I gather the steel beams for the roof of the terminal...Obiano insisted they source those from Aba. I’m guessing this was due to the COVID restrictions in procurement at the time, as well as to cut cost!

If we behave like Igbo bu Igbo, we will prosper. The governor has done well by harnessing the can do spirit of the Igbo bu Igbo. I believe that the Igbo will want to do what the European, American and the Asians do because the Igbo believes he is equally endowed.
I hope next time he gives free car to anyone, it should be INNOSON or OMAA but he must use INNOSON and OMAA in his official vehicle pool (it doesn't matter if he has other brands as his private cars).

Kumasi International Airport. Started in 2018, to be completed sometime this year. Valued at $300m. Being built by the Ghanaian Federal Government. Runway length of 2.3km. If you compare to that of Anambra State, you see the reason for the noise. Meanwhile, they are yet to build there tower, after three years.

Wasn't a fan of Obiano before, but based on this and the easy for us travels who usually go through so much stress going to Asaba, he has scored 90%.

The Catholic Church make all their schools conducive to learning. Clean, landscaped environments with amenities. Public schools look like animal farms. You will see a school of 500 pupils learning in classroom with collapsed roof, broken window, wild elephant grass and 1 pit latrine toilet. Meanwhile the headmaster drives to school in jeep. No wonder public school produces riff raff.

The state government tried by supporting the Churches but handing a blank check is not the solution. Money should be tied only to infrastructure and monitored because Anglican schools have done far less with the money given them than Catholic schools. Public schools should be governed by esteemed members of society not hungry officials of ministry of education in collusion with crooks teachers.

The $300m Ghanaians are spending incorporates many things not just the runway and terminal plus they have something called quality which Nigeria in general lacks. It will take them 3-4 years to build but it will be of high quality like Kotoka. As for the runway length, 2.3km is enough for what that airport is meant for which is modern day 737 and 787 aircraft. They clearly planned their expansion of that airport well.

We need desperately in the East power plants. The East at any given point receives 9% of power generated in Nigeria

We need gas pipelines to major cities. Waiting for FGN is waiting forever. Buhari has already started routing ND gas to Kaduna, Kano and Katsina how many hundreds of miles away. Meanwhile, Onitsha is just 43 km from the shell pipeline network. Once you have the gas you can generate power for an industrial cluster or even a government layout. This is what is happening at Oregun Lagos and Ota, Ogun state.

The pipeline would cost roughly $200m to get to Onitsha and if the state government had started in 2015 allocating $25m every year by now it would have been completed.

At least, you can agree that it's almost the same size as our "Roban stores" like you said. Only God knows what people like you would have said if the runway was 1.9km with room for expansion to 2.3km. That was were they started from.

Most of the public schools in Anambra whr seized from churches during the military rule... They whr returned to the churches by Peter Obi they re funded by the government but managed by the church under supervision of host community..

Little chance for corruption because everyone know how much was received and how it was spent
