Nairaland / General / 4 Ways To Keep Your Marketing Teams Productive, Remotely by somtookeke(m): 2:04am On Apr 21, 2020 |
Digital marketing is hard to organize, even in perfect conditions. There are hundreds of micro-tasks involved which are hard to report and account for. It is incredibly hard to handle it all from home, where there are dozens of distractions to deal with. How to keep your marketing teams productive in the remote working environment? Here’s what we are doing: 1. Things are going to change Your team’s working routine is going to be different. Many of your co-workers are locked at home with kids. There’s no way they will be able to work 3-4 hours straight, without an interruption. Try not to force your office working routine on them, or yourself for that matter. Working from home will take some time adjusting. So take some time. It is a stressful time for everyone, don’t take extra stress by trying to be as productive as you used to be when working from home. Accepting change makes it easier to create a new normal. 2. Daily micro-meetings help fight social isolation One of the biggest challenges of remote working is social isolation which is also reinforced by the perceived absence of management. Your team may feel isolated and lost, so we made solving this issue a priority from the very start. With all of us having moved to working from home, we now have more meetings than we used to in the office. Those meetings can be very fast (10-15 minutes) but they are incredibly helpful for fighting loneliness and keeping the team in the loop. I used to treat meetings differently. I’d always make sure to have an agenda and keep things timed. Source for 3 & 4 check out complete article on https://speakersden2..com/?m=1

Nairaland / General / How To Read Deleted Whatsapp Messages? [3 Methods] by somtookeke(m): 3:57am On Apr 18, 2020 |
WhatsApp, the popular messaging app owned by Facebook added a new feature a while ago which allows users to unsend messages within an hour. Messages can be deleted in individual chats as well as group chat and the feature is available on Android, iOS and Windows platform. The Whatsapp unsend messages feature comes with caveats like recipients get to know that you have deleted a message as “This message was deleted” is displayed instead of the deleted message. The feature is indeed helpful for recalling the message if you have committed a spelling mistake or if you have sent the message unintentionally. However, if you want to see deleted WhatsApp messages, there are a couple of workarounds that can be used. How To Read Deleted WhatsApp Messages? 1. Read deleted messages using WhatsApp Chat Backup If you have deleted a chat accidently that you want to recover, you can do so with the help of WhatsApp Chat backup which occurs every night at 2 am by default. You can change the frequency of backup to daily, weekly or monthly. However, choosing daily as the preferred backup frequency is recommended as you can restore chats before the next backup occurs at 2 am. To restore deleted WhatsApp chats, pursue the following steps: read more Bellow Source: https://speakersden2..com/?m=1

Nairaland / General / Every Day Is National Hot Day Now by somtookeke(m): 2:28am On Apr 17, 2020 |
Unfortunately, one of the first things I do every morning is open up Twitter like it’s the morning paper. It’s kind of like a morning paper—I’m just getting my news with a side of righteous indignation and thirst, which is why it shouldn’t have surprised me to see “National Hot Day” as one of the top trending topics Thursday morning. But as much as it was a refreshing reprieve from what usually trends—hashtags dedicated to partisan squabbling or canceling celebrities (#AshleyReeseIsOverParty)—I was still confused. What the Bleep is National Hot Day, and... why does it exist? While browsing National Hot Day tweets, I’ve mostly seen memes about getting one’s back blown out, mildly smutty furry art, anime avi Twitter posting anime porn, k-pop fancams, thirsty quarantine tweets. Essentially, just another day on Twitter dot com. But in this new era of social distancing, in which countless people are incredibly Hot on main, it’s all the more evident. As my colleague Megan Reynolds noted in a piece regarding the influx of trend pieces about horniness, humans have always been Hot. But I can’t be the only one who has seen an exponential growth of thirst traps on my timeline in the last month of lockdown. Even the most mild-mannered people I follow have resorted to a “Bleep it, here’s my cleavage, lads” mindset. And frankly, why the Bleep not? People are out of work and bored all day with nothing to do but tweet, rev up Pornhub after Andrew Cuomo’s daily briefing, play Animal Crossing, and try some TikTok dance challenges. And on top of all that, there are few responsible means of actually hooking up. (By Somto Okeke Charles) Coined from https://speakersden2..com/?m=1

Governor Ifeanyi Okowa has extended the extension of COVID-19 lockdown imposed on Delta state to curb the spread of coronavirus pandemic by another 14 days. Okowa in a state-wide broadcast on Tuesday also declared a dusk-to-dawn curfew across the state, beginning from Wednesday, April 15. He said the two weeks extension of the stay-at-home order is to enable officials track, identify, isolate and test all who have had contact with the three confirmed cases of Covid-19 in the state. “I hereby extend the stay-at-home order for a period of two weeks. It is for public good and for the interest of our health. And I want to urge all Deltans to please observe the stay-at-home order,” Okowa stated. Recall that Delta state recorded its first case a week ago. Two others, one of who died, were subsequently recorded in Warri and Asaba, the state’s capital. Source : https://speakersden2..com/?m=1
