Check the threads from page 60. There is a fix for congested locations Sommyroy10: Good afternoon, bosses. I would like to make an inquiry about purchasing my Starlink. I am looking to purchase Starlink. Is there a way I can pay 38k per month since my location (Ikorodu, Lagos) is filled? Also, in the event of my relocation, how do I go about it? Do I still need to start changing the location for my Starlink? Forgive my novice questions. If this has been addressed before, kindly point me in the right direction. |

Bros, we are still paying subsidy, thats why NNPC is able to continue doing magic at its filling stations and at the price it sells to marketers. In fact, recall that Ajaero, NLC Chairman reported that Tinubu threatened to increase the fuel pump price if he is to agree to 250k minimum wage cos it is within his powers to tell NNPC to sell at the landing cost and not at the subsidized cost naijaboy756: NNPC are magicians selling at a loss to Nigerians then

Well, may be depends on location in Lagos then. I still get average of 30 to 50mbps during peak periods of the day excluding evenings though. When I tried to preorder earlier, I was placed on 2025 waiting list. However, another attempt to order to my location now says service will be expanded in 2024. Hopefully, they will add more satellites cos Nigeria's internet demands is not about meeting needs of users in rural areas, the urban population are tired of cleaning up after major network providers and looking for easy way out QuoteJust1nce: I swear. If you like use a router made in heaven; during the day ehn; na die. I am now forced to stay awake late into the nights to do heavy downloads. |

I set the channel width to Auto, do I have to choose one of these 3? PotatoSalad: Great. Try 161 Set channel width to 20/40/80MHz |
Phones › Re: My SpaceX Starlink Internet Experience In Lagos, Nigeria by sonickay(m): 10:27pm On Jul 20, 2024 |
I have channels 149 to 165 as extras PotatoSalad: Good. now that your 5ghz is split, you can change the channel too. 149 to 165. Use WifiAnalyzer too. 161 works on all my devices. If you have only channels 36 to 48, then your router is EU version. There's nothing much you can do here. |
Phones › Re: My SpaceX Starlink Internet Experience In Lagos, Nigeria by sonickay(m): 10:19pm On Jul 20, 2024 |
It appears my Router is US version then. I have 11 channels. Wifi Analyser keeps saying best AP channel is 3, 5 or 7. I am testing each then to see which will work best PotatoSalad: After transmit power. First of all disable smart connect. "Settings, advanced, wireless settings." Change width to 20Mhz or 20/40Mhz (i use 20mhz cos of my IOT devices) and then change channel 1-11 (US version) or 1-13 (EU version) |

WifiAnalyser says best Channel for me is 7 but I don't see where to change channels on the Router menu PotatoSalad: If you're in lagos, then maybe. If you're not, you can try these settings. 1. 2.4ghz 2. 5ghz Also use WifiAnalyzer to check the 2.4ghz and 5ghz channels in your location. Then you can change to ones that don't overlap. For me, 11 and 161 were the sweet spot. Update, disabled Smart Connect to see this menu

I don’t have this issue with my Samsung phones though. It automatically selects 5G and I have a lot of iPhones connected to 5G band ibietela2: It automatically assigns 2.5 or 5Ghz that is best for the device... my lappy supports both but 5Ghz is what the router gives it |

Oh, I havent checked the parental settings out but I dont think there is any paywall on the Router so far. 35 clients, are you in a market? And how do you bill users or you made it free? It's been hard for me to pin down subscribers cos I am in a residential area with poor power supply. You have to. I erroneously believed the vpn on my router is free too, till I discovered it’s my responsibility to add my I chose either free or pain. Tplink only provides the platform to do that without having to install con software RoddyStan: I don't understand yiu sir, if I buy the ax55, I don't need to subscribe for vpn again? |

It does o, make the bros no go buy VPN of 200k o except TP Link is paying for the VPN ibietela2: Router should come with VPN CLIENT (this way you subscribe to your favourite VPN service like windscribe) which you will connect with the router... unfortunately the Archer 21 does not have VPN client at least the one with me which is the latest firmware version 4.6.
However the (Archer AX55) comes with VPN CLIENT+SERVER (I have placed order for it). You can check online for cheaper one. Make sure it has VPN CLIENT, so you don't have to stress yourself. |

It is very funny that none of the legislators and comments here mentioned the illegality of the retrospective application of the amended law. In a democratic setting, the legislature cannot make laws to apply in retrospect, how can you make law in 2024 to benefit yourself from something that happened in 2023? You could even go back to 2020 if care is not taken as though you are making law for barbarians?
We will be here when the banks challenge and get this amendment nulled in Court. |

Same applies to my situation but I have been using my modified inverter that way. One thing that stood out was ensuring the plugs, sockets and changeover are 100% plugged in which eliminates the hum fashrola: Confirm if your Inverter is Modified or Pure Sine wave inverter............
Modified Sine wave does not generate clean energy to some sensitive appliances especially Starlink routers |
