Science/Technology › Re: The Decline Of Science Section In Nairaland by sonickay(m): 4:51pm On Mar 22, 2015 |
johnydon22: I can't help but notice that the science section is one of the most declining and ignored section in nairaland.
All we see is numerous adverts here even when Please do not post adverts in this section, to avoid being banned. is written in bold red letter...
but sadly no science inclined topics are being raised all we see is buy solar panel, phone data and some useless stuffs.
The few scientific inclined threads here gets no or little attention and none ever makes it to the front page riddled with sai buhari and gej 2019
Seun please we need this addressed, scientific threads needs to be given the supposed attention, many people here need those informations and knowledge in science which really seems waning in nairaland.. Thanks boss good observation bro, many atimes like this, I visit the science section to see if I can pick on something new. Alas! I am always disappointed with the various desecration of this section with technology adverts which even the sellers know nothing about how it works or can give a theoretical operation about. It seems you are endeared to science and the DIY of how things work and should be developed as me. I will follow and pm you bro, let's see if we can collabo on this science section, contribute our quota and make every young nigerian gain, learn and put their brain chipset into work and do unimaginable things. There is knowledge to gain and use from the global world. If some people. who with little resources have the knowledge and technical know-how, they can empower people who have the resources to realise their potentials in science and technology rather than allow the knowledge to die with them. |

And on speed forget ooo, etisalat na baba. God dat network speed is mading here.. I get over 1.2MB/s(not Mb/s) and mtn do get to 800Kb/s too I use Etisalat too, it seems dey are getting more competitive with speed and cost, they are the real bolt network. I use ETI for BIS, if network no good for ur area, disturb them. After 3months they upgraded their masts around my area and even rewarded me. The only downside is dat I can't use it on my pc via d hotspot or oda means. |

aspaki: i attended INEC Adhoc training but couldn't find my name on the training allowance list, what should i do? is it possible to attend the training and not get the allowance? help fellow nairalanders! you are not only the one. I was surprised at the recent scam being perpetuated by INEC officials. We are in the same shoe, "magomago" has eaten deep into the system, I as well as many innocent Nigerians without legs couldn't find our name on the list after we finished the training. I tried to petition INEC by mailing contact@inecnigeria.org till bow I have not received a reply. That is the only avenue I can think of to explore for now. Does anyone have a better idea on how to get to a sane INEC official to address this issue? |

Having children means a secure and save environment for raising them and marriage can bring that plus security. Politics › Re: We Never Booed President Jonathan And Governor Fayose.... OAU Students by sonickay(m): 2:41pm On Nov 29, 2014 |
phantonce: Ibikunle, you can lie o o.See how this guy dey manipulate story. u've said your own from your own angle.
This is my own story to yesterday happenings ..
Today, i did my part, i made my stand. Happy joining OAU students to show President Jonathan his government and poverty-inducing capitalist policies are not welcomed. He expected a rousing welcome, instead he was confornted with a protest. Fayose got perhaps the biggest embarrassment of his life today. He walked confidently to Ife students expecting to be applauded. I can't yet forget the look of shock on his face as shout of Ole! Ole ! (Thief! Thief!) rented the air. Hastily his security details whisked him away. President Jonathan's convoy was delayed as students sat on the road chanting slogans. Clumsily one by one, the royal fathers made their way out not sure who next would be greeted with shout of "thief!" Those to be pitied (not sure if they even deserve it though) were the hundreds of PDP supporters who had thronged the campus with different banners to welcome Jonathan. They looked dejected, their banners hanging around them. How could they start dancing as they planned with the hundreds of students chanting solidarity songs just beside them? At the end, as the helicopters lifted from the ground, i didnt see a single person waving the President goodbye. It was like good riddance. If my guess is right, someone might soonbe fired for fixing OAU on the President's itinery Despite attempts by a wing of the union leadership to sell-out, great Ife students have demonstrated how oppressors and exploiters should be treated. I would do it again anytime, any damy own story of happenings of yesterday. Well said brother, I understand the reason why SUG led Ibikunle & Co. twisted the story. These are verifiable facts, the never-belief dumbfounded saTANs should spend a dime from their federal allocation to verify this from any OAU student. From every students stand view, your summarized account is very accurate. What I don't understand is how people, saTANs and goonz who don't understand the mentality of we OAU students and hence live in oblivion and deny ferociously that the protests and boos happened. Bear in mind, the SUG spoke for itself not the students, they have long lost their legitimacy, OAU students won't be surprised at such turnaround, the management would have told them to do damage-control. Ah ah... |

MuguliciousMUGU: Sahara reporters are good at lying just to tarnish goodluck jonathan image, but they would be shocked when goodluck will win the next election...
Later their oga would say APC did not buy him any house, why won't he lie, when he does not want to lose his job..
Meanwhile GEJ till 2019 lolz, I can't laugh, the SUG is a sheep to students , majority belief the SUG betrayed us to such an extent that there is a division within the SUG itself. This faction spole for itself, the general mood was clear, OAU STUDENTS BOOED GEJ! If you aint dere you won't understand, don't answer our "social media" PRO, if he is sure of himself, tell him to announce this in the halls, he will be water-washed away! |
