That’s a question researchers posed as part of the ASPIRE study, which tested the flexible silicone rings with women ages 18 to 45 living in Malawi, South Africa, Uganda and Zimbabwe. And it’s a practical one, explains Dr. Anthony Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, which funded ASPIRE. The less obtrusive a form of prevention is, the easier it is to convince people to use it.

“Something not noticeable is great,” Fauci says.

The encouraging news, gleaned from ASPIRE staff interviews with 214 of the 2,629 participants, is that sex with the ring wasn’t much different — at least physically.

What happens in people’s bedrooms, however, is also psychological. Some women reported worrying about what would happen if their partners felt or discovered the ring, which is 2.2 inches in diameter and a third of an inch thick. They feared being interrogated in the middle of sex, despite the fact that Fauci notes, “That’s not what happens. It’s less obvious than a diaphragm.” But because of this anxiety, several women slipped out the ring prior to intimate contact, while others avoided certain positions.

A bank cleaner, Peter Oko, has been arrested by the Nasarawa police command for stealing the whooping sum of N5.675 million from the New Nyanya branch of Diamond Bank, where he worked.
The 29 year-old stated that he took the keys to the vault, stole the money and hid it in a carton, which he took home after the close of work.
Narrating how he stole the money, Oko said “As a cleaner, I knew where all the keys were kept. I single-handedly carried out the operation because I have been working as a cleaner in the bank for the past 10 years and my eyes had been on one of the keys to the vault, where the bank used to keep all its money.
“As a cleaner, my attention was not only on the keys, but on how I will carry out the operation successfully without being caught by either the security or any staff of the bank and I have access to all the foreign currencies in the bank as I know where they were kept’’.
“As a cleaner, I knew where all the secret files were kept and where the bank kept its keys where you can have access to dollars, Nigerian currency and all other currencies.”

In most Yoruba towns, prior to the day of the traditional wedding tagged ‘ENGAGEMENT’ the family of the lady will summon the man with one of his friends as witness to interview him and know his intentions about their daughter.

The Police are yet to give the identity of the boy/man, the person alleged that he stabbed and the actual location of incident.
The Police cell by now should be filled up because the more people brought to station mean better business.
The reported response of the former Vice President did not fall short of what you expect from Nigerian Politicians especially: Amechi, Fayose, FFK, Oshiomole and so on for years. They may never know the day the Nigerian people will wake up and start understanding Political vocabularies, soon they will understand why Donald Trump won the Presidential election in America despite the love and support for Clinton. In case they need a tip, I am not stingy with ideas because they certainly can’t reason that it was not because Trump is a Billionaire but the people needed a new Political vocabulary.

Justin Bieber was moved by his own music during his concert in Frankfurt, Germany.
While performing his song, “Purpose,” the 22-year-old singer got choked up and started outright crying. Bieber didn’t stop the song, as one concertgoer’s video shows, but rather wiped away his tears and kept on singing.
Bieber’s waterworks come after several outbursts at prior concerts, which included him asking the crowd to stop screaming and, in one instance, walking offstage altogether.
This also isn’t the first time Beliebers have seen the pop star break down during a performance. Last year, Bieber cried at not one, but two awards shows.
At MTV’s 2015 Video Music Awards in August, he started tearing up while singing “What Do You Mean?,” and again got choked up at the American Music Award last November while performing the same song. Earlier that month, he also cried during a concert celebrating the release of his album, purpose.

One Rekia Musa, a divorcee and Accounting graduate of the Kogi State University, has been arrested by the police alongside seven others for robbing and terrorizing Abuja kano and Kogi States.
Rekia and her gang whom the police said had links with Zakeria Isiaka, who was recently arrested by the Inspector General of Police team have confessed of their involvement in several robbery operations especially on politicians who they presumed stole public funds.
She told the police that she had only been an informant for the gang for four months.
Musa, aka, Hajia, explained that about four months ago, one of her friends, Isha Mohammed, approached her and said he knew some politicians who had stolen public money and hidden them in their houses.

A former teacher accused of having sex with a thirteen-year-old student ‘daily’ agreed to a plea deal Wednesday morning.
Alexandria Vera, 25, was originally charged with continuous sexual abuse of a child after her June arrest. She plead guilty to a lesser charge of aggravated sexual assault of a child.
Vera was a teacher at Stovall Middle School when she began having sex with an 8th grader. Harris County prosecutors say the sexual relationship went on for nine months.
According to court documents, Vera said she and the victim “love each other.” She said the two met in summer school, then grew close the following school year.
During an open house in the fall, Vera claimed she was introduced to the victim’s parents as “his girlfriend.” She also told investigators the boy’s family accepted the relationship, invited her to family gatherings and became “very supportive and excited” when told Vera was pregnant with the victim’s child in January, according to court records.
But when Child Protective Services showed up at the school to question Vera and the victim, she said she got nervous and later had an abortion.

Ijeoma said the industry is driven by very decent and disciplined personalities who grew to the apex through hardwork.
According to her, “Beauty pageantry is serious business. It takes a lot of hard work and discipline to get to the top and should not be seen as an easy come, easy go thing. But it is quite unfortunate that Miss Chidinma, winner, Anambra state ‘Miss Face of Democracy’ pageant got herself involved in such a mess.”
“Pageantry goes beyond runways and catwalks on stage. There is a socio-economic angle to it. In my pet project presentation, I talked about violence against children that has become rampant in society. The rate at which children are molested, kidnapped and sexually abused is worrisome. In my mind, this is one area I want to concentrate on in term of how to curb such or bring it to barest minimum.”

Amnesty International, yesterday, called on Singapore to immediately halt Friday’s planned execution of Chijoke Stephen Obioha, a Nigerian national on death row for possession of drugs. Obioha’s family was informed that his appeal for clemency has been rejected. He is set to be executed tomorrow.
Rafendi Djamin, Amnesty International’s Director for South-East Asia and the Pacific, said: “The Singapore government still has time to halt the execution of Chijoke Stephen Obioha. We are dismayed that clemency has not been granted in his case, but remain hopeful that they won’t carry out this cruel and irreversible punishment against a person sentenced to the mandatory death penalty for a crime that should not even be punished by death. “The death penalty is never the solution. It will not rid Singapore of drugs. By executing people for drug-related offences, which do not meet the threshold of most serious crimes, Singapore is violating international law.

One Korede Odubela, 65, has been arrested by the Ogun State Police Command for allegedly killing his 16-year-old stepdaughter, Amudat Oshimodi, for rituals.
Korede was said to have connived with another accomplice, Lekan Lawal, to commit the crime at Imosan village, in the Odogbolu Local Government Area of the state.
While parading the two suspects alongside 12 other suspects at the command headquarters, Eleweran, Abeokuta, on Tuesday for various offences, including armed robbery, burglary and stealing, the state police commissioner, Iliyasu said Odubela, who was the leader of the gang, connived with Lawal to strangle Oshimodi, after which they sold her head and hands to ritual killers.
The police commissioner said the men of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad received information about their activities and swooped on them on Monday, November 7, 2016.
Odubela said he connived with Lawal to kill his stepdaughter because the 16-year-old girl was always stealing her mother’s money.

I later went for the contest at the Marble arch Hotels in Awka, and I was declared winner with a Kia Rio vehicles as star prize. A 30-year old woman, Peace Chukwuemeka, has been arrested by the Akwa Ibom State Police Command for stealing a month-old baby from her mother.
Peace Chukwuemeka was reported to have drugged the mother of the baby before stealing it.
The Akwa Ibom State Police Commissioner, Mr. Murtala Mani, revealed this while speaking with journalists in Uyo.
Represented by the Police Public Relations Officer in the state, Cordelia Nwawe, mani stated that the suspect lived in the same compound with the mother of the baby at Mbak Itam in Itu Local Government Area.

Your heart is your inner MAN - the “YOU” that people interact with. This constitutes your mind, will, understanding etc. The influences of the heart begins with the thoughts you allow in your mind. When your thought(s) on any matter lingers for long in your mind, very soon, it becomes a belief that affects what you SAY & DO!
**Thoughts are inaudible words that are uttered internally. “...say not in your heart….” (Rom 10:6)
When your inner man becomes full of those thoughts /words, your mouth will inevitably utter them audibly and your life becomes impacted by those words . (Luke 6:45)
