Kentura:you are to read and treat your partner with unending care and love. There is no way this post which is supposed to teach people how to love their partners will make your marriage crash |
It goes the popular way, Men are visual; women are verbal. Men are impulsive; women like to analyze things. Men are from Mars; women are from Venus. So since both are opposite in many ways, it makes sense that male and female hearts swell for different reasons. While you probably smile when your mate says, “I love you,” those same three words from you may not do much for the other. Give them your undivided attention They hate it when you look into your Iphone while dinner is going on or when they talk to you, it makes them feel as if the phone is more important than they are. Make eye contact and avoid interruption. Also, knowing what they like to eat without having to ask them demonstrates how well you know your partner. Celebrate Anniversaries, Birthdays, Annual celebrations: If this person is the love of your life, shouldn’t you want to celebrate and make a big deal out of your relationship milestones? You can do this in any way that suits you both; the important thing is to show that other person how much having them in your life means to you. Go out for dinner Maybe you two like going out for dinner and do prefer that to eating in. Just make sure you take them somewhere they will love. Again, this doesn’t mean it has to be a cliché. If this means they’ll be having garlic breath for the next three days, well then you’ve just proven your sacrificial love even more. see more here:http://www.nowayobloggers.com/blog/love-sex/how-to-love |
Taking advantage of the benefits of drinking a glass of water for our body is something we should do every day, by only consuming 1-4 glasses of water on an empty stomach. What should you expect to gain from this? Here are 9 benefits of drinking water before meal: 1. Drinking 1 or 2 glasses of water before breakfast is ideal for eliminating toxins and all substances that our body does not need. Thanks to this, water helps prevent diseases and boosts metabolism at the beginning of every day. 2. During the night, the body works repairing cells and cleaning itself, therefore, drinking a glass of water on an empty stomach is very beneficial because this will give a boost to the body and will release all wastes, through urine. 3. Drinking a glass of water or more on empty stomach helps minimize the harmful effects of some substances such as alcohol, tobacco, pollution, junk food, among others. 4. Water is a great ally for the skin and very beneficial to your health; drinking 2 cups of water on empty stomach will help maintain the elasticity and tonicity of the skin and prevent premature wrinkles. 5. Drinking water in the morning protects and hydrates our vital organs and makes them healthy and maintains their functioning. 6. Drinking water in the morning, besides eliminating toxins from the body, helps to burn fat and calories, so it reduces the feelings of hunger avoiding putting on weight by overeating. 7. Consuming a glass of warm water on empty stomach is a good way to start the day with energy, eliminating the sensation of sleep and fatigue that we usually experience in the morning. see more here:http://www.nowayobloggers.com/blog/lifes-ultimate/benefits-of-drinking-a-glass-of-water-early-in-the-morning-before-breakfast |
For about a decade, Turkish and Ghanaian organized crime rings operated a fake U.S. embassy in Ghana’s capital, where they issued fraudulently obtained legitimate and counterfeit visas and ID documents costing $6,000 to people from across West Africa. That’s according to the U.S. State Department, which detailed how the operation worked. “In Accra, Ghana, there was a building that flew an American flag every Monday, Tuesday and Friday, 7:30 a.m.-12:00 p.m. Inside hung a photo of President Barack Obama, and signs indicated that you were in the U.S. Embassy in Ghana,” reads an article from the State Department’s Diplomatic Security Bureau. “However, you were not. This embassy was a sham.” The “embassy” was shut down by Ghanaian authorities this summer, in cooperation with the real U.S. Embassy, following a tip from an informant. Authorities have arrested “several suspects” and confiscated “150 passports from 10 countries,” according to the article. They also discovered a fake Dutch embassy and continue to pursue “several” other suspects. see more:http://www.nowayobloggers.com/news/fake-us-embassy-operate-in-ghana-for-decade |
If you are the type that drinks a lot of water, you will certainly need to pee in the middle of the night, but you will have to reconsider that after reading this. Orthostatic hypotension occurs when a person’s blood pressure falls when suddenly standing up from a lying or sitting position. It is the lowering of blood pressure when going upright from a laying down position causing you to feel dizzy. It occurs predominantly by delayed constriction of the lower body blood vessels, which is normally required to maintain an adequate blood pressure when changing position to standing. As a result, blood pools in the blood vessels of the legs for a longer period, and less is returned to the heart, thereby leading to a reduced cardiac output. Severe drops in blood pressure can lead to fainting with a possibility of injury, sometimes it leads to death. When you wake up from a deep sleep forcefully, it’s not every part of your body that wakes up at the same time. Some wake up first why others follow, the brain is a busy part of the body, and it is always awake when others are sleeping just to remind them that they will still need to wake up after some hours. see more:http://www.nowayobloggers.com/blog/lifes-ultimate/orthostatic-hypotension-it-was-not-sent-from-your-village |
In an intimate interview with The Guardian published on Sunday, the R&B hit-maker (né Abel Tesfaye) talked about his start as a kid on the streets of Toronto, Canada. Raised by a single mom, he admitted to feeling a lot of loneliness. “I didn’t have a father figure in the house,” he said. “No boys around. Just me and my mom.” The 26-year-old artist said he eventually dropped out of high school and moved out of his mother’s home when he was 17. He and his pal La Mar Taylor moved into a one-bedroom apartment in a suburb of Toronto and spent most of their money on drugs and alcohol. The singer lists Ketamine, cocaine, MDMA, mushrooms and cough syrup as the pair’s drugs of choice. At the time, The Weeknd told The Guardian he thought doing drugs were the only way he could be himself. “When I had nothing to do but make music, it was very heavy,” he said. “Drugs were a crutch for me. There were songs on my first record that were seven minutes long, rambling – whatever thoughts I was having when I was under the influence at the time. I can’t see myself doing that now.” “I’ll be completely honest with you. The past couple of albums, I do get back to that,” he said, referring to doing drugs. “Even on this new album. You have writer’s block. And sometimes you’re like, I can’t do this sober.” The Weeknd appeared to get uneasy when asked if he ever sought out treatment for his drug use. see more here:http://www.nowayobloggers.com/blog//i-cant-do-this-sober-the-weeknd-admits-that-drugs-were-a-crutch-for-him-while-making-music |

Have you ever suffered an episode of sleep paralysis? It can be a tremendously frightening experience, one you’re not likely to forget. You wake from sleep immobilized, unable to move your body or turn your head. You try to make a sound, but you can’t open your mouth. You feel short of breath, with a strong feeling of pressure on your chest, weighing your body down. You feel a deep sense of dread or danger — maybe you even feel there’s a strange presence in the room. Here are some facts about sleep paralysis: 1. Sleep paralysis gives you the feelings that you woke up dead 2. It doesn’t appear like you are dreaming: In dreams your whole body is mobile and you are free to think but in this case, you are just immobile and yet you are awake and unable to move any part of your body. 3. During sleep paralysis, the body remains paralyzed while the brain awakens and the eyes start to open. Sufferers become alert in a transient conscious state, but they are unable to move voluntary muscles or speak. Though your breathing remains unaffected, this lasts from 20 seconds to a few minutes. 4. Sleep paralysis can involve hallucination: Sleep paralysis is just super frightening to begin with, so it often triggers a panicked response with increased heart rate. “People freak out because they can’t move, and it’s this extreme anxiety which causes people to be very fearful of their surroundings,” says Breus. see more here:http://www.nowayobloggers.com/blog/lifes-ultimate/8-facts-about-sleep-paralysis-that-you-may-not-know-dont-blame-the-witches |
1. It keeps you fit If it’s late and you haven’t made it to the gym, don’t forget that sex counts as exercise, too! “Sex burns between 75 and 150 calories per half-hour,” says Desmond Ebanks, MD, founder and medical director of Alternity Healthcare in West Hartford, Connecticut. It’s comparable to other physical activities, he says, like yoga (114 calories per half-hour), dancing (129 calories per half-hour) or walking (153 calories per half-hour). 2. Lowers Your Blood Pressure According to Joseph J. Pinzone, MD. He is CEO and medical director of Amai Wellness. “There have been many studies,” he says. “One landmark study found that sexual intercourse specifically (not masturbation) lowered systolic blood pressure.” That’s the first number on your blood pressure test. 5. Counts as Exercise “Sex is a really great form of exercise,” Pinzone says. It won’t replace the treadmill, but it counts for something. 3. Eases Stress Being close to your partner can soothe stress and anxiety. Ambardar says touching and hugging can release your body’s natural “feel-good hormone.” Sexual arousal releases a brain chemical that goes up your brain’s pleasure and reward system. Sex and intimacy can boost your self-esteem and happiness, too, Ambardar says. It’s not only a prescription for a healthy life, but a happy one. . 4. Improves Women’s Bladder Control see more here:http://nowayobloggers.com/blog/love-sex/five-health-benefit-of-sex |

1. CALL UP LETTER: This is a vital part of camp registration and the only evidence that you are a prospective corps member (colloq. Corper, or Otondo) and you are not impersonating anyone. This will be taken from and not returned to you. Tip: DO NOT LAMINATE IT! And keep it like it’s your life. I know someone who was sent back because she forgot hers. Also someone who had to beg and beg before his letter was collected because he laminated his own copy. So please avoid all these stress and make enough copies of this letter. Tip: Remember you can REPRINT your Call-Up letter online if subscribed (N4,000) to that option. 2. Registration Documents: If you’re a foreign graduate, take along the original credentials you uploaded (to the NYSC Portal) for physical verification / evaluation. 3. Green Card: It contains your bio-data. Print and bring along your signed copy. 4. Final Year Student IDENTITY CARD 5. Notification/STATEMENT OF RESULT from School 6. PHOTOCOPIES OF YOUR DOCUMENTS: Now make about 10 copies of every document required. 7. PASSPORT PHOTOGRAPHS: This is very important. Take as many as you can, about 20 in red backgrounds. You would need them for different kinds of registration. e.g, skill acquisition groups, religious groups, sports, redeployment, bank account opening e.t.c 8. My CLEAR BAG: You’ll need to put the aforementioned in a portable envelope/bag that can withstand some amount of wear/tear. Hence, My Clear Bag. see more here at:http://nowayobloggers.com/blog/youth/official-nysc-camp-registration-requirements |

With the things that resolve around us in the world everyday, particularly in Africa…every element of our daily live and experience(es) is inherently and internally encoded in writings, en-grafts, signs, prints or written words. The question begging for answers therefore is – “what is a book?” Since there are no universally accepted definition of the word-“book” many researchers and scholars have attempted to proffer some descriptions and plausible definitions. Some said it means, any written document. Latin and Sanskrit also have words for BOOK as “writing” that are based on tree names (“birch” and “ash,” respectively). Meaning “libretto of an opera” which left us far way out into what a BOOK means. Dictionaries and encyclopedias went a further step to describe a BOOK as – “set of written, printed, or blank pages fastened along one side and encased between protective covers That sounded too good but it went out nice to the exclusion of e-books, e-journals and other electronic written resources structured. see more here:http://nowayobloggers.com/blog/books-research/meaning-significance-of-books |
Pure water (not cold) is 20 per one in cross river camp *I don’t know why I am telling you people* I got to Cross River camp around 5:30pm on Wednesday and from that moment till now (20:05pm) I have not sat down.. As we were about to get to the camp, our vehicle was stopped by some military personnel and all otondos were asked to alight and put their loads on their head *this is the part where I was glad I came with my small box* and walk all the way down to the main gate where you are going to be searched. To Enter The Main Gate After presenting our Call up letter and our School I.D Card, we were asked to open our bags and contraband like iron, boiling ring extension, fork, ceramics, drugs were removed from various boxes. From there one lanky looking soldier was the one in charge and he proved it by asking people to put their loads on their heads again and frog jump before letting them go. To Register In the Hostel From here we were directed to some Military personnel in plain clothes who lectured us on the importance of giving respect and saying yes Ma, from here we went to join a queue to register in the hostel. You will need your Call up Letter and School I.D Card, After checking it, every of your document at this point will be returned to you and you will be asked to write your Name, Call up number, University and phone number and you will be directed to a room. I was lucky enough to be posted with my final year bunky and at this point I called her and we linked up. see more here:http://nowayobloggers.com/blog/youth/my-first-day-in-the-camp-documents-you-really-need-for-registration |
Food probably isn’t the first thing on your mind when you’re battling the flu or a stomach bug. But you have to fuel the tank eventually, and what you choose to do so matters: Some foods and drinks out there can make you feel even worse. Here, some foods and beverages you should avoid when you’re sick so you can feel better faster. 1: COFFEE When you should skip it: You have any type of illness, but especially a stomach bug. Why it makes you feel worse: The caffeine in coffee is a diuretic, so it can make you pee a lot and leave you dehydrated. 2: SODA When to skip it: You have any type of illness, but especially a stomach bug. Why it makes you feel worse: Like coffee, caffeinated sodas are dehydrating. And they’re loaded with sugar that suppresses your immune system and messes with your GI tract, says Dr. Arthur. If water just isn’t appealing, try a lower-sugar drink with rehydrating electrolytes—like a sports drink or coconut water, says Dr. Arthur. Diet soda is off-limits, too. “Many artificial sweeteners are large molecules, which can’t be broken down and digested well,” Dr. Arthur says. That can cause bloating, cramping, and even diarrhea. In other words, it just makes whatever stomach symptoms you’re already experiencing even worse. 3: CRUNCHY SNACKS When to skip them: You have a cough or sore throat. Why they make you feel worse: The abrasive texture of snacks like potato chips, granola, or even crispy toast will feel like sandpaper on your raw throat, Dr. Bhatia says. see more here:http://nowayobloggers.com/blog/lifes-ultimate/some-foods-you-should-avoid-when-you-are-sick |

CDC now recommends 11 to 12 year olds to get two doses of HPV vaccine—rather than the previously recommended three doses—to protect against cancers caused by HPV. The second dose should be given 6-12 months after the first dose. ? Human papillomavirus (HPV) is the most common sexually transmitted infection in the United States. Some health effects caused by HPV can be prevented with vaccines. WHAT IS HPV? HPV is the most common sexually transmitted infection (STI). HPV is a different virus than HIV and HSV (herpes). HPV is so common that nearly all sexually active men and women get it at some point in their lives. There are many different types of HPV. Some types can cause health problems including genital warts and cancers. But there are vaccines that can stop these health problems from happening. HOW IS HPV SPREAD? You can get HPV by having vaginal, anal, or MouthAction with someone who has the virus. It is most commonly spread during vaginal or anal sex. HPV can be passed even when an infected person has no signs or symptoms. Anyone who is sexually active can get HPV, even if you have had sex with only one person. You also can develop symptoms years after you have sex with someone who is infected making it hard to know when you first became infected. DOES HPV CAUSE HEALTH PROBLEM? In most cases, HPV goes away on its own and does not cause any health problems. But when HPV does not go away, it can cause health problems like genital warts and cancer. see more:http://nowayobloggers.com/blog/lifes-ultimate/human-papillomavirus-hpv-worst-than-hiv |
The lagos State Police Command has arrested a private school supervisor, Mr. Adegboyega Adenekan, for allegedly molesting a two-year-old pupil. The 46-year-old suspect was alleged to have lured the girl under the pretext of taking her through sex education in the school. The victim’s mother, who pleaded anonimity, said, “On November 10, I took my daughter to the toilet. And as I normally do, I warned her not to let anybody touch her ‘wee, wee’ (private parts). Then she said, ‘he put his wee wee in my wee wee.’ I asked who? She said Mr. Adenekan. She is two years old, but she can describe everything graphically. As a mother, I wanted to cover it up. Body odor (or B.O., bromhidrosis, osmidrosis or ozochrotia) is a perceived unpleasant smell our bodies can give off when bacteria that live on the skin break down sweat into acids - some say it is the smell of bacteria growing on the body, but it really is the result of bacteria breaking down protein into certain acids. Body odor usually becomes evident if measures are not taken when a human reaches puberty - 14-16 years of age in females and 15-17 years of age in males. People who are obese, those who regularly eat spicy foods, as well as individuals with certain medical conditions, such as diabetes, are more susceptible to having body odor. ? People who sweat too much - those with hyperhidrosis - may also be susceptible to body odor, however, often the salt level of their sweat is too high for the bacteria to break down - it depends where the excess sweating is occurring and which type of sweat glands are involved. Sweat itself is virtually odorless to humans; it is the rapid multiplication of bacteria in the presence of sweat and what they do (break sweat down into acids) that eventually causes the unpleasant smell. The smell is perceived as unpleasant, many believe, because most of us have been brought up to dislike it. Body odor is most likely to occur in our feet, groin, armpits, genitals, pubic hair and other hair, belly button, anus, behind the ears, and to some (lesser) extent on the rest of our skin. see more:http://nowayobloggers.com/blog/lifes-ultimate/body-odourcausesprevention-and-treatment |

Two nights ago, I experienced a bout of sleep paralysis. For those who have never been possessed by its demons, ‘sleep paralysis is a sleep phenomenon in which the sufferer feels an immense sense of impending doom as they are caught between sleep and wakefulness’. During these experiences, I lose the ability to freely move my head and body, and am unable to produce any sound-despite the belief that I am screaming with all my might. see more:http://nowayobloggers.com/blog/lifes-ultimate/sleep-paralysis-its-not-a-spiritual-force

Often at times, we buy clothes to fill up the hangers in our wardrobe but at the end of the day, we don’t even see what to wear to work or classes for lectures or to that special occasion. I am not even going to talk of when you are invited to a closed door meeting with the governor. here are some simple tips to guild you: • You might have so many clothes in your wardrobe, but there are some that you’ve not touched for the past one year. No reason though, but you always flip pass each time you come across them promising to wear them next time. But they are just there; they have been there all these months. Why not just remove them from the wardrobe and keep somewhere, were it can be taken to the charity homes, after all, it’s not as if you are ever going to wear them! • You are done sorting those clothes you’ve not worn for like 12 months now and you are just left with a particular set of wears, and you think they are totally cool! • How do you feel when you are wearing that clothe? Confident? Or do you keep adjusting and feeling uncomfortable in it? When you put on something that is just you, you are sure to feel free in them because they solely define who you are. If you are confident in that dressing, then that’s more than just a fashion, it’s your style. see more here:http://nowayobloggers.com/blog/v-fashion/tips-on-how-to-know-your-style-see-more-pictures

Never, put your banana in the refrigerator!! This is interesting. After reading this, you’ll never look at a banana in the same way again. Bananas contain three natural sugars – sucrose, fructose and glucose combined with fiber. A banana gives an instant, sustained and substantial boost of energy. Research has proven that just two bananas provide enough energy for a strenuous 90-minute workout. No wonder the banana is the number one fruit with the world’s leading athletes. But energy isn’t the only thing a banana can help us keep. It can also help overcome or prevent a substantial number of illnesses and conditions, making it a must to add to our daily diet. 1.DEPRESSION: According to a recent survey undertaken by MIND amongst people suffering from depression, many felt much better after eating a banana. This is because bananas contain tryptophan, a type of protein that the body converts into serotonin, known to make you relax, improve your mood and make you feel happier. 2.PMS: Forget the pills – eat a banana. The vitamin B6 it contains regulates blood glucose levels, which can affect your mood. 3.ANEMIA: High in iron, bananas can stimulate the production of hemoglobin in the blood and so helps in cases of anemia. 4.BLOOD PRESSURE: This unique tropical fruit is extremely high in potassium yet low in salt, making it perfect to beat blood pressure So much so, the US Food and Drug Administration has just allowed the banana industry to make official claims for the fruit’s ability to reduce the risk of blood pressure and stroke. 5.BRAIN POWER: 200 students at a Twickenham (Middlesex) school ( England ) were helped through their exams this year by eating bananas at breakfast, break, and lunch in a bid to boost their brain power. Research has shown that the potassium-packed fruit can assist learning by making pupils more alert. See more here: http://www.nowayobloggers.com/blog/lifes-ultimate/great-health-benefits-of-bananas |

In our endeavour to meet daily needs, one may be arrested during or immediately after committing a crime; or on suspicion of having committed a crime and be detained. There are laws on the rights of a detained person. Unfortunately the laws are constantly abused by law enforcement agents and sometimes lead to death of the detainee. A Lagos based notorious hoodlum popularly known as Sunday Terror arrested and detained by the police, died in police custody in January this year. In May, Gbenga Omolo, a 70-year-old man was allegedly tortured to death while in detention in the cells of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad of the Ondo State Police Command. In June, The chief protocol officer of the minister of state for defence, Mr Desmond Nunugwo died in the custody of Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC). The deceased right to life and fair-hearing were violated. Many cases of death in custody and extra-judicial killings are neither reported nor investigated. Those whose love ones died in law enforcement custody, must speak out. Civil societies must stand in the gap for those who had no one to fight their cause. An independent autopsy should be done as it is possible that the deceased may have died as a result of physical abuse by police. ![]() Continue reading: http://nowayobloggers.com/blog/law/government-must-investigate-every-death-in-custody |
