You can not register with Social Work England with a social Work degree from Nigeria.

Sadly, no Nigerian school is listed.

In contrast to south Africa where almost 10 universities are listed

This is very much incorrect don't pass wrong information if ure not well informed. I am Social Worker a Unilorin Alumni and I am social work England registered. You can get registered even with a diploma just have your references to back you up, your Ielts and other required documents most importantly Money

Thank you very much for this piece of information. This is so insightful. However, if you can help find out from Sophiat what her University degree was and how many years of work experience she has as a Social Worker, it will help in clearing some doubts

The university of Ilorin offers degree in Social work, its a 4year course and I believe your Siwes and maybe a year or 2year experience will suffice. Referees are very important too always keep in touch with them

The whole interview process has being postponed indefinitely, I think the governor has heard people’s complaints. The whole shortlisting was based on selfishness and not merit please let’s pour our mind on social media, there is power of social media. I’m sure they want to re-shortlist, God’s best!
