Affordable means "Okay you aren't getting everything but some". And so they make concessions.

More people do social media than bitcoin mining and these phones can handle the social media.

I agree. Plus older flagships offer lesser power, lesser fast charging, slower processors, old operating systems, cameras without today's capabilities.

Even affordable itel phones which are less than ₦30k offer some of these newer technologies than older "flagships"

Not just this one; there are others like the P36 Pro. It's good too and within the price range I guess.

I'll recommend you check Jumia for the pricing but Def itel has phones in that range.

Even the one my friend has been using, she hasn't complained of any issue whatsoever. She does a lot of taking pictures and web surfing too. For me, nothing is a deal breaker here!

And I hear taking pictures on here is good. Supports the portrait mode too.

Guy, i'm not talking about iphone or samsung. These stupid brands are cheating us in africa. They make good phones in china, if you check some of the phone made available in asian markets they are far better than the shitty phones they sell here.

Chinese phones are mostly available here in Nigeria, and itel is no exception.

U feel itel will be as dumb to make over the top, high end devices and limit them to China?

I guess not.

Nigeria is a goldmine for all things budget and these companies understand this. But "Budget" means an exclusion of some specs, so other specs could be optimized.
