Youngsage:
Nobody is hating. All of you itel staff on this thread are not serious.

New accounts, all created in October and less than 30 posts all talking about itel, and you want people to take your opinions as unbiased? Come on....

You should have collected the accounts of the old staff from previous years before they left. Instead of one person opening 30 accounts to promote a phone undecided embarassed
Oga even if it's marketing, it has to have a start date right?

So in your warped opinion, if a brand hires marketers (which is totally ethical by the way), they should go back in time and open accounts so people like you are satisfied?

Your claim about "30 accounts" & all is mere hearsay; an assertion you cannot prove EXCEPT you are a troll yourself.

So a credible account has to have 30+ posts? Who made the rule? You? sad

Y'all transsion haters just can't seem to get a hold of yourselves.

Itel has gotten ahead in their game and y'all can't deal.

I can also say you were hired to discredit itel products since you are throwing unfounded accusations too.

Because she does nothing other than Snapchat, Facebook lite and Whatsapp (that's if she even exists or na audio sister you day talk)
Let her try doing bit coin mining, network marketing + VPN or just online classes and she will rush you to get her a new phone instead of glorified calculator
Nonsense plastic scraps grin
Those who have money to do bitcoin mining won't be patronizing budget phones na. And that's what manufacturers like itel are all about.

Affordable means "Okay you aren't getting everything but some". And so they make concessions.

More people do social media than bitcoin mining and these phones can handle the social media.

Itel succeeds in this area.
PhonesRe: Older Flagships Or New Budget Phones? by SoroSoke(m): 2:08am On Oct 25, 2020
TrollKiller:
False analogy.
Most modern budget phones are better than old flagships.
For example the redmi 9 is far better than the redmi note 7 and a close match to the note 8
All round, modern budget phones beat old flagships.
You can't pit a Narzo 10A with a Samsung S7. Tech grows fast.
Unless you want to talk about tecno, infinix and itel phones. Those ones are a story of mediocrity
I agree. Plus older flagships offer lesser power, lesser fast charging, slower processors, old operating systems, cameras without today's capabilities.

Even affordable itel phones which are less than ₦30k offer some of these newer technologies than older "flagships"

Unboxer:
Does have to be tecno or Infinix?

I advice that you widen your net. There are itel options you could explore as well.

Checkout the itel S16; you may like it. Has cool features.

Not just this one; there are others like the P36 Pro. It's good too and within the price range I guess.

I'll recommend you check Jumia for the pricing but Def itel has phones in that range.

Even the one my friend has been using, she hasn't complained of any issue whatsoever. She does a lot of taking pictures and web surfing too. For me, nothing is a deal breaker here!
And I hear taking pictures on here is good. Supports the portrait mode too.

I saw nice images of the protest shot with it on twitter.

Will check this out.

Asianjollof007:
Guy, i'm not talking about iphone or samsung. These stupid brands are cheating us in africa. They make good phones in china, if you check some of the phone made available in asian markets they are far better than the shitty phones they sell here.
Chinese phones are mostly available here in Nigeria, and itel is no exception.

U feel itel will be as dumb to make over the top, high end devices and limit them to China?

I guess not.

Nigeria is a goldmine for all things budget and these companies understand this. But "Budget" means an exclusion of some specs, so other specs could be optimized.

Big batteries with 5W charging.. they can do better
They can.
They are the tech company afterall bro, they'll get some aspects of their engineering right.

But a budget smartphone is a budget smartphone; it is what it is.

It was built to serve this purpose.

Why not buy a brand new itel S16?
This is a great suggestion. Budget yet somewhat premium.

On a #SoroSoke level; this phone would have come in handy in documenting the #EndSARS protests.

Great Cam and significant power (no need for powerbank) while doing the Lord's work.

This is a great one from Itel.
