Well, I think that centre based assessment and assessment center are the same in terms of what's done there.
it simply means a centre or a location where candidates will be assessed in a more detailed manner.
it usually involves tests, presentation, case study reviews and pannel interviews.
But because of its competitive nature (I.e. 5% of the entire candidates) the cutoff mark will definitely be high.

sir, kindly read the second mail carefully, you will see where it is stated that it is a computer based test and you must leave the venue immediately after the test. that is exactly the type of mail they sent me when they invited me for an aptitude test some months ago. a center based assessment in this case is referring to an aptitude test to be conducted within their (I.e workforce's) premises. I am very sure that if it were to be an assessment center they would have outlined all the activities to be conducted on that day but if you read carefully you will realize that they only talked about the computer based test, nothing was mentioned about stuffs like group discussion, presentation, panel interview and the likes as it is done in an assessment center, hope you understand what I am saying? thanks.

in the first mail they sent they said if you are successful in the online assessment test you will be invited for an ASSESSMENT CENTER in Lagos from on 2nd-17 November depending on your schedule but from what I can see in this second mail they sent we will be going for another assessment, a "CENTER BASED ASSESSMENT" which is not the same thing as an "assessment center" which they promised earlier on. For those who don't know the difference between the two the center based assessment is just like the Normal aptitude test you know while an assessment center is a combination of various activities done in a single day which aims at testing the eligibility/suitability of candidate (s) for a particular post, example of activities done during an assessment center are computer based test (just like the normal aptitude test you know), group discussion, essay writing, presentation, and competency based test ( that is one on one INTERVIEW with the prospective employer). I really don't know why they are twisting the whole thing, why will they promise one thing and deliver another?

I'm sorry I had to ask the second question because if you read the content of the mail as well as the top talent portal, it kinda looks like the scheme is to get a ready pool of top graduates where they'll pick from should there be an opportunity. And not like there's one at the moment. I could be wrong

exactly the same thing I feel bro, I am in Zamfara and I am having a second thought about this already but I will give them a call tomorrow, I doubt if they can change the location of the test for you but I am certain that they can reschedule the date of the test for you.

Hello, I totally disagree with you. Such is not the case everywhere, you should have said that is what you saw. Are you aware that leapers are kind of ostracized in the north? therefore, it is very wrong/incorrect of you to claim with certainty that groundnut AKA kulikuli which happens to be a well accepted snack by the northerners is produced by the same set of people the separate themselves from. The report on Banjo is one of those propaganda

Actually I wanted him to tell me where he saw that information in the book because I can't see any. that aside, after reading that book my respect for Prof. Achebe kind of declined. I find it highly ethnocentric and full of claims that cannot be authoritatively and genuinely ascertained.

hi guys, please is there anyone who went for the test on Saturday? they called me on friday last week and asked if I will be available for the test and I said "no" and I gave them my reasons, they then said they will get back to me. I received another mail from them today that my test has been rescheduled for Wednesday next week, is there anyone with me on this?
