migeoart:
Good evening all, please between Nigerian wheat and foreign wheat which gives better yield for wheat flour and also if you can supply wheat in Lagos please drop a message
For flour making, the foreign is better, but if you dont want genetically modified variety, locally grown one is better.
Let me know the quantity you want and the specifications.
Cheers.

A good processing factory located in Osun State is up for sale. The land, building and the equipment.

Asking price is #15m. Products that can be produced with the equipment are; garri, yam flour, plantain flour, beans flour and dried Ogi.

Reason for selling is not enough funds for working capital, branding, marketing, advertisement and distribution.

Prospective buyer should be ready to spend 10m to 15m on the above and is expected to make 3m to 5m monthly (very realistic).

I will offer mentorship on production and connection to key partners to ensure success for at least 3 months after sale. Please call 08136903541

Really interesting, truth be told, if I had that money I would have taken this opportunity.
But BIO can help with the loan, unless the owner is not interested in the business again.

Agriculture / Re: Cocoa Business: Learn How To Make Money From Cocoa Business. by sourcepoint: 4:22pm On Dec 31, 2020
Aare2050:

Good morning,
Well, Reading from your comment shows you have some kind of experience in the business. Although, we are all learning everyday. I picked the "expenses" to make anybody interested in the business in large scale know or have idea of what they are going into.
You don't expect me to put everything up here for Jack and Jones to just view and go.
From the table of content above, all you need to know about income generation is topic number "V" Read it again.
The picture is just a planned expenses for a purchase period and a quantity of 50tons.
As you can see, there is a 100k set aside for extra. You can pick ur police money there, whereas the produce money you highlighted has also been put into consideration in the same picture, look at it again please.
Lastly, about buyers given out money to farmers. That is a very bad way to do cocoa business, such farmers are old in the days farmers that are sincere. If you give your money to most of the farmers we have now, sorry is your case. I don't know if you have heard "see and buy" before.
You don't even need to buy from farmers if you are serious or if you have a target or a contract to execute.
You buy from the buyers. Just make sure you buy according to the quality in your contract, moisture, bean count, slate and so on.
I was born into this business, I know it like the back of my hands.
Thanks.

Valid point.
The days of giving farmers money to farm for you is no longer their.
I wanted to do such for my soyeabean supplies, but I was warned, but then how can the country grow with such mistrust.

Agriculture / Re: Cashew Expert Wanted Urgently by sourcepoint: 7:25am On Oct 25, 2020
nice contribution,
But please you guys should share the knowledge here so other can learn, in turn you might get exposure for your expertise and knowledge.
I don't have much experience in that area.
But as a general rule, try and locate your facility close to the raw material source. I think Benue is the highest producer of cashew.
As for the machinery, fiiro.gov.ng fabricates locally, I thinks their cost is a little bit on the heigh side, but you get all the technical expertise and replacement.
You can get Chaina made machines too. I have gotten FOB quote from tondefoodmachine.com and they also have cashew processing machines too.
That's all I know for now.
