SINNERS (2025) - 60%

Started off promising but went downhill fast. The final act was underwhelming. I'll add this one to my list of unexpected disappointments along with David Fincher's "The Killer".

She is quite attractive. I believe I recognize her from the Batman movie, although I didn't have a clear view of her then. I did say before that there are more suitable choices to portray Storm than world record ugly Cynthia Erivo.

Taskmaster is GONE. There's no "true" version waiting to be unveiled. That ship has sailed.

This is exactly what Zack Snyder did when fans complained about Doomsday in BVS. He claimed that Doomsday wasn't the "real" one and that the "real" Doomsday was gonna show up in the future at some point.

It's such a silly and stupid excuse. You mess up a character and try to defend it by saying it's not the real one. Only a 10 year old would fall for that.

Why do a "fake" version of a character to begin with? Who asked for that?

They don't even have the courage to market it. It comes out next month and I haven't seen a single poster or trailer.

How do you expect marvel to spend much marketing a mini series that currently lacks plans for continuation. It's not even as if ironheart is a popular character like Loki. Anyways fingers crossed till it's audience and critic reviews are out.

The only downside is Feige and Co. messing up and wasting deep character like Taskmaster who can be New Avenger capable villain going forward since she can match them combined in skillset and strength wise same way they wasted Quicksilver....

Have you heard anything about Quicksilver being part of new X-Men rooster?

I have heard rumors suggesting that the Taskmaster depicted in the Marvel Cinematic Universe may not be the authentic rendition of the character. It is speculated that the true version of Taskmaster might be unveiled when deemed necessary by the creators. While hopeful, I'm not counting on them to do anything with the character anytime soon. Unfortunately I haven't heard anything about quicksilver.

I thought I was alone in recognizing the nonsense being disseminated here this afternoon. Marvel seemingly possesses a level of influence over critics that allows for potential manipulation, yet they failed to leverage this power to generate positive reviews for their $350 million politically charged film, at least have them say you fixed it after the extensive reshoots. It's this average stake, after-thought that they will sway the critics across America and Europe to generate fake hype for. It appears as though these guys are merely typing without thinking which is not out of the norm anyway.

Observing DC tards on this platform and beyond attempting to play down our modest Suicide Squad project as if daddy Gunn didn't make his own attempt in 2021 with a similar budget, which blew up in his face, generating less revenue than its production costs. Subsequently, they blamed its outcome entirely on the impact of the pandemic, despite the fact that "No Time to Die" and "Spider-Man: No Way Home" released in the same fücking year. Oh, well.

CA4 earned slightly more than what's projected for The Thunderbolt and yet it's currently struggling to break even. It's first weekend was big, but not the subsequent ones. If The Thunderbolt is going to be a hit, it's sophomore weekend has to be better than that of CA4.

It already has positive critical reception something that CA4 struggled with. I'll say it will be just fine.

The headline struck me as unusual. I have always understood the term "meta-human" to refer to individuals who gain special abilities through experiments, genetic mutations, or other circumstances on Earth. However, this does not apply to Superman. His powers stem from his inherent alien biology rather than any external factors. Moreover, Superman's abilities far exceed those of any meta-human, and that makes including him in their class feel like a significant downgrade.

The introduction should have come before The Batman movie.

There is no sensible reason why The Batman wasn't involved in The Penguin series, so much big shït happened that should have gotten his attention. Otherwise, solid show.
