That is a straight red card . Inexperience cost Tanzania. I am sure Cameroon or SA will match Morocco

Tanzania has impressed me mightily in this first half.

Waiting for the second half
If the player has nodded in the golden opportunity, Tanzania should be leading now

Ah how did the Tanzanian player missed empty net in the early minute of the game ? In a game like this you have to take your chances

Tanzania will likely still lose this game sha, but I love how they are making Morocco work for it. It turns out their narrow defeat to Nigeria and hard fought tie with Tunisia wasn't a fluke at all.
Yes inexperience or defensive error or the questionable ref decision will give Morocco the Victory. But I think 🤔 Tanzania has done well keeping clean sheet against World cup semi finalist and a team who has 19 unbeaten run
SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Spainever(m): 5:43pm On Jan 04
I hope this ref will not spoil the joy of Tanzania, Tanzanian team is an underdog the ref should not aid Morocco's victory . I hope there will be no dubious penalty in the game

Tanzania holding Morocco for 35mins is a big achievement to them o 😂. Can we see an upset here ? I most our first half against Mozambique will not end in goalless o 😂. If this happen Cheille may make some changes which may not favour the team set up . Early goals always help

Mali has played four matches
Mali vs Zambia - 1:1
Mali vs Morocco 1:1
Mali vs Comoros 0:0
Mali vs Tunisia 1:1 .won via penalty
They don't score goals but they don't conceed more goals 😆
It appears they have decent defence line and good midfielders. Maybe they will drag Senegal to penalty shoot out .lol 😆

In a sane society, Bello supposed to be in jail but this is Nigeria where a criminal is bold to contest for elections and the people he stole from are busy campaigning and singing praises of him

Why do I see so many of you in this forum being against North Africa?
I am from Algeria, and I love Nigeria and follow all of its matches from 2004 up to the present day.
I followed on Algerian football from late 80s as a small child ,I love Beloumi. The major reason people are against North African teams is because hostile nature . They always intimidate the ref especially when playing at home . In some cases they intimidate the players and fans. Check the history of African champion league matches you will confirm this hostility . Because of this hostile nature some refs usually give dubious penalties.
You watched the last women AFCON finals ,where Morocco fans used laser on Nigerian players ,they did same thing in previous edition where Nigerian lost to them through penalties . Can you show me any African country that use laser against opponents ?

Lessons from last night AFCON matches
It is not the team that score first that wins the match
Sudan scored first and lost
Tunisia scored first and lost
Mail got revenge of 2022 world cup qualification where Tunisia defeated them to qualify .
In 2021 ,Mali defeated Tunisia in the quarter finals

Tunisia have good organization but deservedly failed to scale the R16. Don't see them representing Africa well at the mundial though they WC qualification record is impressive.
They will not perform .

It’s terrible from what we all watched and saw in the last Afcon this is a huge step backwards.

Don’t even care who wins this competition anymore let it just end and we all move on
I hope CAF will not dash Morocco the trophy . Any slight challenge against Morocco ref will check VAR

Watched replays again and again and Sarr was offside. VAR even refused showing us the lines that show he is on. They just decided to give this one.
The officiating in this AFCON appears controversial and questionable, even with VAR the officiating is below standard

The officiating in this AFCON is quite below standard , I thought VAR will always be a great help but for this tournament confusion here and there . I hope CAF won't dash host the trophy with poor officiating

Nigeria 🇳🇬 can beat this Senegalese team if they are committed and determined enough to beat them. Nothing really spectacular about this Senegal team
Beat Mozambique first ,then beat Algeria / Congo
SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Spainever(m): 3:23pm On Jan 03
We always conceed goals in all our matches
From Gabon to Tanzania and Uganda . Mozambique will score but Nigeria should buried chances so that by 75mins we have 4 goals.
I am sure 😃 CAF will like Morocco to play final as compensation. It appears refs are intimidated by north African teams and officiating appears to favour them
SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Spainever(m): 3:18pm On Jan 03
The Nigerian team is formidable and capable of winning AFCON but my concern is the coach getting the selection right. More importantly team management after 75min seems to be the major problem. We easy conceed goals after 75mins
Nigeria vs Lesotho , we almost gave Lesotho an equalizer
Nigeria vs Zimbabwe. They score towards the end
Nigeria and Tanzania . Tanzania almost equalize
Nigeria vs Tunisia - we almost drew the game after leading by 3goals
Nigeria vs Uganda . 10 men Uganda scored .
After 75 mins it appears the team will sleep off.
