Blueelf: Unpopular opinion but Benjamin fredrick is too short to be a world class centre back
His height will prevent him from reaching his full potential in that position
He's better in a full back or defensive midfield position Chidi Nwanu is not tall ,even Baresi of Italy was not tall. His height will not hinder him |

[quote author=TheSuperNerd post=137986460]Kenneth Omeruo was 19 yrs at Afcon 2013 when he made his major tournament debut and shone like a million stars.
Ogenyi Onazi was 20 at same Afcon 2013.
Benjamin Frederick at 20 was already bound to start at Afcon 2025 but for injury.
Will Nigeria give a 19y/o such a chance you asked?? Something that has happened and is still bound to happen. Hmm |

CapitalCee: But you addded Morocco who last wom AFCON 40 years ago and has been to less WC than Tunisia. Im African Football Tunisia is more of a power house than Morocco and Senegal.
The real Power House in African football are Cameroon, Egypt, Nigeria, Ghana Tunisia and Algeria Tunisia is not a powerhouse , infact Tunisia is a waste of slot at the world cup . When last Tunisia played semi finals at AFCON? 18 matches at the world cup 3 wins ,5 draws and 10 losses. They have never progressed beyond the group stage. Senegal played quarter finals in 2002 and round 16 in 2022. |

Gabon is leading but they are out . Even if they win by 10 goals .Nigerians praying to avoid Ivory coast. As it stands now .The table shows Cameroon Ivory coast Mozambique Gabon Ivory coast currently second on the table due to head to head against Mozambique. Nigeria will meet Ivory coast if Mozambique wins |

TheSuperNerd: Chelle's 4-3-1-2 dynamic variant setup is the formation to expect in the KOs.
Bruno at LB. Bassey and Ajayi at CB. Osayi/Ryan at RB.
Midfield 3 of Ndidi (Captain), Onyeka and Iwobi.
Lookman in the hole but close to the front 2 of Osimhen and Akor.
It would be hard to fit Onyedika into this setup from the start unless you want us to sacrifice Onyeka because Ndidi and Iwobi are sure starters and are also on fire at this Afcon.
Moses Simon is not even a starter anymore so Kennysville, your kind suggestion wont exactly fly. This should be the permanent line up for the super eagles unless there is tactical changes Adams Osihmen and Lookman upfront And three midfielders - Iwobi, Ndidi and Onyeka , Onyedika can come in 70 minutes for any of these trio . Simon has no business starting any game ,but it appears the coach love 😘 him . |

Kog45: Hmmm, come see comments here on Onyedika and Bashiru before the kick off as if Iwobi,Ndidi and Onyeka are Iniesta,Xavi and Basquet...getting real performance in the middle Onyedika is the man or else we get knockout as competition progresses. Well said . Onyedika deserved playing time . Someone who played champion league matches but relegated to the super eagles bench |

robosky02: The super Eagles confirm thier leadership of group C winning all games with maximum 9 points.
Round of 16 will be expecting Good results however we need to exercise caution. In 2021 we topped the group with 9 points and lost to Tunisia in second 16 |

The team has done well , however we need to work on the defense line ,and not be carried away. In 2021 , we defeated Egypt and won the group with 9 points but lost to a depleted Tunisian team with covid 19. The coach should work more on team management and our players should take chances. Moses Simon should be on the bench . Adams , Osihmen and Lookman should lead the attack . No need experiment with Chukueze in the middle . The midfield should be Iwobi, Onyeka or Onyedika and Ndidi |

For those screaming that Nwabali should be replaced , I have good news for you , he is nursing an injury and Uzoho will likely be in goal. If the injury is severe Uzoho will be in goal in round 16. I hope you will not complain about Uzoho because these are first and second choice goalkeepers. Some people even blamed Nwabali for not saving the penalty against Tunisia ,Haba .Not doubt Nwabali is playing with injury and he is not in form but can Uzoho carry us through? Is a big question begging for answer. |

givedemwotowoto: Peter Obi to ADC. +6
Kwankwaso to APC +2
==================== Atiku + Peter Obi = 6.9 + 6.1 = 13 million votes ✔️ (winner)
Tinubu + Kwankwaso = 8.7 + 2.2 = 11 million votes 🚫 (second place)
Note: I decided not to add or subtract vote from anyone despite the following:
Tinubu failed woefully on economy and security so the “Lagos builder” rhetoric has expired, people have seen him for who he is. 70% of Tinubu’s votes in 2023 came from Buhari. With Buhari’s passing, those 5.5 million votes are expected to be split between mostly Kwankwaso, Atiku, and Tinubu.
Peter Obi on the other hand has gained respect from many. Despite the result of the 2023 election, he didn’t retire to tha background waiting for the next election, he engaged in philanthropy and went about building bridges across the country.
Atiku has managed to stay under the radar, preferring to do groundwork politics behind the scenes.
Kwankwaso has maintained his lane and stronghold.
Shettima has been somewhat missing in action. This sounds interesting 🤔, unfortunate our elections are decided by INEC not voters. |
