seunmsg: The part of the Ooni stool going to mere shrine keepers is fallacious. Obatala and Obalufon were powerful leaders before Oduduwa usurp the leadership of Ile Ife from them. They reigned in quick succession after Oduduwa’s death as there were no direct Oduduwa don to take over the throne. It is fallacious and insulting to refer to such powerful figures as shrine keepers.
Ooni Ayetise, a direct descendant of Oranmiyan and the father of the popular Ooni Lajamisin ruled after Ooni Obalufon Alayemore’s second reign.
Good history from you. Haha, so you sabi corret history like dis? Ok o. Kadoso Mutairu!
A Nigerian woman, Cindy Chiera Umeh, has mocked poor men while showing off her washing machine.
“It’s a year I bought this washing machine to help my life and make it more easier. Poor men with hefty iron condemned preeks do not know what is this. They prefer to keep making their women to wash with hands sowtey hand Don peel don turn old cargo hand,” she wrote in a Facebook post on Wednesday.
"Poor men with hefty iron condemn preek say washing machine Dey make their wife lazy and their wife accepted because them be onukwu wey them use poverty swear for. Them even say washing machine dey spoil clothndi ala wey use poverty bath.
“Even if poor men with hefty iron condemned preek go do money ritual them no go fit still get money to buy washing machine because their life don damage.”
Lukgaf: There are moments in life when we feel we’ve done everything right.
You fasted on the white days. You prayed at Tahajjud when the world slept. You gave sadaqah with a trembling hope in your heart. You raised your hands after every prayer, whispering the same dua for a job, a spouse, a visa, a child…
Yet it didn’t happen.
The contract was cancelled. The proposal was rejected. The exam was failed. The visa was denied. And you’re left wondering, Did Allah not hear me? Did He turn away?
But pause… and reflect.
> "…But perhaps you hate a thing and it is good for you; and perhaps you love a thing and it is bad for you. And Allah Knows, while you know not."
(Surah Al-Baqarah, 2:216)
Allah’s wisdom is far above our comprehension. He sees what we don’t. He plans what we can’t.
I know of someone who saved up for years, did everything possible to go for Hajj, but each year, something blocked the way until one day, Allah opened the door in a way he never imagined. He wept not just from joy, but from finally understanding why the earlier delays happened.
I know of a brother who was heartbroken after losing a job contract that he thought would change his life only to return home and find his true change: a pious wife and a peaceful life.
Even for me, I remember once praying earnestly to gain admission into a particular university. I was serious, I fasted, did I’tikaf, made tahajjud… everything. But the admission never came. I was crushed. Four years later, Allah wrote something more beautiful: I was posted there for NYSC and got paid by the same university that once rejected me.
Dear friend, if Allah delays your request, it’s not neglect rather it’s protection. If He redirects your path, it’s not rejection, it’s mercy. If He gives you silence instead of a “yes,” it’s because He wants to give you something better than what you asked.
Keep trusting. Keep walking. One day, you’ll look back and whisper, Alhamdulillah for not getting what I wanted… because what Allah gave was better.
May Allah strengthen our hearts to trust His perfect wisdom and bless us with contentment in His decree. Ameen.
LordBillionz: Regardless of your position on this, I appreciate that you shared this transcript. i am hoping more would be shared in subsequent trials. Thank you. As a Biafran, the Nigerian government has failed.
Regardless of the outcome of his trial, he is already written in my heart and many other good Nigerians who loves the truth as a hero. History will always be kind to him.
press9jatv: You preach fair hearing for Tompolo, but you teamed up with GTBank to k!dnap me, pointed guns at my mum, threatened to sh00t my friend, took my phone under duress, and seized my car, no petition, no charges!” — VeryDarkMan to EFCC Chairman
Thunderfayamods: Don't mind them they are denying it because that person is from the East. Watch the same people in that man were to be Westerner or Northerner.
Na so o. They are always saints. Never do anything wrong. Never take responsibility or accountability. They don't sin at all. Always the victims.
Lawalemi: We are heading to a terrible route under APC
It is APC that told those mockers to not exercise decency and common sense? We Nigerians are the ones acting wickedly against each other but you will be busy blaming a political party while people get away with price gourging, hoarding and sale of fake and substandard products.
No. Buhari ruled for 8 years as Nigeria president. He is in APC. Tinubu is president now in APC. Both men are not the same. So if you want someone to accuse and abuse, be specific and stop behaving like something I can't mention.
Twist4u: “The more you pull people out of poverty, the more you solve insecurity. We need to invest in education,” Obi stressed. “Our children are not in school. I’ve sat with Almajiri children—they are some of the most brilliant minds God created. If they can’t go to school, take the school to them.” H.E Peter Obi
Man like Obi
GEJ tried it and they frustrated him. Where are all the schools he built for Almajiris then? The people he is talking about are not interested in organic education. Only Islamic education. Obi should just go and sit down.
JetApartment: It is either you are not a Christian or you don't read your Bible. Point one verse one verse in the Bible that says we shouldn't be like Jesus Christ.
Do you even know the meaning of the words "blasphemy" and "Christian" before you jump ignorantly on my mention?
