There is need of value reorientation in Nigeria. Unless that, for Nigeria to attain greatness it will remain a pipe dream.

What is in the contract is a pledge of $90k bpd for five years and not $12b. The Cable simply calculated $90x365x5 to arrive at over 164million bpd and then times it by the market price. That is there own calculation based only on the crude oil that will satisfy the lower market price that the contract was negotiated on which is different from the actual.

Once the $3b principal and 11% annual interest is repaid the loan ends. Everything is dependent on the market price.

collect wetin...we don't have any issue with SS ..trust me we had our issues centuries ago and we have reconciled! Parts of Igbo land was gotten from SS but that was centuries ago! We have reconciled and we are great neighbours!

The margin demarcating the two communities serves as the boundary between the northern and southern provinces. While Agila is in the North, Ngbo lies in the South.

There appears to be no let-up to the hostilities between the people of Ukelle in the Yala Local Government Area of Cross River State and their neighbours in Igbe Agu, Izzi Local Government Area of Ebonyi State.

The communities clashed again on Friday, February 15, 2019. It was alleged that on that day, Izzi youths barricaded the Ebonyi-Ogoja highway and started shooting, which reportedly provoked the Ukelle youth, who responded.

The age-long animosity between the two communities over land has continued to fester despite the presence of military personnel drafted there after a bloody battle on Friday, June 22, 2018, between the two communities. The battle followed months of bickering over land.

At least 40 people were killed while 1,500 houses were set ablaze and 11,000 inhabitants of the communities displaced. Both communities recorded losses which included the destruction of farmlands and livestock. Normalcy was restored after the deployment of military personnel and riot policemen in the disputed boundary between the two communities. The presence of security forces has, however, not stopped the intermittent clashes between the warring neighbours with the attendant bloodshed on each occasion.
