samplegirl: May God bless you and your family. It is only when the terrorists kill that we know people die. When hundreds of thousand innocent northern kids die from preventable disease because the so called Alhajis and their cohorts refuse to allow them access to vaccination the poster will not yell blue murder.
The poster may not have known that the North produces the highest number of destitutes on Nigerian streets thanks to refusal of their leaders to deny them of western medicare, afterall they all haram but the poster will not report that because it is not linkable to Jonathan.
Useless post! the alhajis will even bring them down south n the do all sort of odd jobs.guess what ? after trekking all day u return everything you made to the alhaji n u entitled to just 2500 per month.such greed |

Aderostock: Apart from Oil companies, name other manufacturing industries or Service- oriented companies in Akwa Ibom. will advise if you've never been to a place stop spraying lies from hearsay;how on earth will 98.5% of the population be in abject poverty in a state like akwa ibom? |
Politics › Re: Seven Years Of Fashola: My Take Away (1) by spankyflex(m): 4:33pm On Nov 09, 2014 |
aresa: With all the exon crap you listed, what states work with at the end of the day after putting their taxes and allocation together is their yearly budgets.
Akwa Ibom's yearly Budgets are larger than Lagos state's budget by at least N100 billion.
In 2013 Lagos state's total IGR/year is 240 billion and fed allocation is 168 billion = 408 billion
The budget for 2013 is 497 billion.
It means Lagos state still with 20 million people have to look elsewhere to make up the difference to get to the 489 billion budget...
Akwa Iboms budget for the same year was 469 billion + 70 billion supplemental = 539 billion
497 billion and 539 billion, please tell us who is richer and should be able to commission projects everyday?
Why is Fashola with less money than Akwa Ibom commissioning projects everyday while Akwa Ibom doesn't? Have you asked yourself the above question?
It's common sense and self explanatory, but you people for some weird reason just play dumb and clueless.. u really mean no commissioning of any project of recent in akwa ibom state |

arsetalks: Some say Fashola is overrated if you consider the resources at his disposal but all of you fail to also consider the fact that 1. Lagos was in a mess before he came in 2. The same resources was at the disposal of the other governors before him. who mess Lagos up before he came him? |
Politics › Re: Seven Years Of Fashola: My Take Away (1) by spankyflex(m): 2:33pm On Nov 09, 2014 |
booscy: Babatunde Raji Fashola will be leaving Lagos state better than he met it, True or False ?
The thing is that he is not a Saint, but I will have to say that He is a very good administrator, although with his flaws which is peculiar to human nature.
Let's take Abia as a case study with its Mega City "Aba" in a totally collapsed state, anybody who inherits the governance of Abia and commences rebuilding of Aba will need more than 8 years and 5 Trillion Naira to repair the city of Aba, which has continuosly decayed since 1983 December. That's 31 years of Decay.
Fashola is not a Magician and can't be everywhere at the same time. He inherited a rotten Lagos and he sure has done so much. In the case of Akwa ibom, with the Highest Federal allocation which is usually ten times that of other states and in a virgin undeveloped area, tarring roads and building stadium will be eaier than built up but rotten areas where u will have to demolish, pay compensation, go to court, clear debris revamp site, prepare it and start start afresh.
Our people expect so much without giving much. I urge you to come to Akwa Ibom and see that 98.5% of Akwa Ibom people are emmeshed in poverty. I now wonder how they will grow with all the elephant projects and billions that will be committed to their maintainance. Akwa Ibom state is not debt free, for our information.
Fashola has over 20 million people to manage, in this number are civilized people, crazy people, foreigners, military, village to lagos first timers, touts and all sort of characters. This population generates chaos, mega noise, air pollution, solid waste and sewage and other sorts of nuisance, managing them and building infrastructure silmutaneously is aa herculean task even with your trillions. A road is asphalted today and Lagosians need to use it today today without even letting it set. Upon this huge population, Lagos has stayed relatively low on crime rate and kidnapping, than the so celebrated Akwa Ibom.
Fashola is not a Saint, Yes and Agreed but he is good.
I am yet to see Governors who have done well as Governors who inheritted rot and cleaned it up to a great extent;
Fashola inherited a rotten Lagos. Amaechi inherited a collapsed Rivers. Chime inherited a Ran-down Enugu Oshiomhole inherited a backward and finished Edo Okorocha inherited a collapsed Imo Akpabio inherited an already forming Akwa Ibom, many projects at 60% completion stage and a Revise and greatly Improved Revenue source, yet his achievements are not commensurate with what Akwa Ibom has earned so far.
Whoever that will inherit rotten, collapsed, finished and backward Abia is in deep trouble as there is a major task ahead. is it in this same akwa ibom am living that 98.5% people r submerged in poverty? uncle you can lie oooo |

First of all, lemme ask this question: What if she was a full time house wife?
The op said they were having marital challanges and the condition for make up is for her to SUBMIT her salary.
If she really wants to keep her marraige, she should submit it. Cause after marraige,i think it's no longer HER salary but THEIR salary. (ladies dont strangle me o lolzzz)
Me,thinks she'd be doing the statement ''...wife submit to your husband...'' justice, if she does.

arewafederation: Stop being emotional here.
The actions of the speaker can in NO way be described as taking the law into his hands. The speaker did not trample on any part of the constitution. He was only a step ahead of the PDP.
The PDP as the ruling party should pay according to the rules, eventhough we all know it's a lawless party, and not take the laws into their hands. The presidency should not meddle into the affairs of the national assembly. If they want the speaker kicked out, it should be through a legal means.
As it stands, the PDP is telling us the country has no Speaker, and that is ridiculous. you didn't answer the question what APC would have done if it was the reverse |

Fisherman Soup - How do you cook yours?
We simply steam the sea foods with MAGGI in a clean pot. Use another pot to cook the sliced yam and then pound to a smooth resilient paste.
Add the okro to the steamed sea foods - cook for 7mins
Add the yam paste in small flat balls - cook for 7mins
Pour in some palm oil and cook for another 5 minutes Add the Patmenger (uziza) leaves - allow to simmer for another 5-7 minutes
Serve with Pounded yam, Eba or Semo. which kind fisherman soup be this? |
