Hey Pal, i got the same mail stating lack of accommodation. I guess we will have to re-strategise. Let me know that brilliant plan you have in mind to solve this issue.

Have a remarkable day!

Mmarvo, how far with your arrangements?
Education / Re: Nddc Postgraduate Scholarship 2014 by spawne: 3:21pm On Aug 08, 2015
This post was originally published on 13 July 2015, at a point when the government’s new policy was not yet confirmed. It was updated on 14 July 2015 to reflect the official government statements confirming the new measures as well as the initial industry reaction.

The British government confirmed new rules this week that will eliminate the opportunity for further education (FE) students from outside the European Union to work part-time during their studies in the UK. In addition, non-EU FE students – that is, those enrolled in non-degree post-secondary programmes – will be required to leave the country at the conclusion of their studies and will only be able to apply for a work visa from outside the UK.

Home Secretary Theresa May tabled a Statement of Changes in Immigration Rules to this effect in the British House of Commons on 13 July 2015.

In an accompanying statement to the House, Minister of Immigration James Brokenshire said, “The Government is reforming the student visa system to reduce net migration and tackle abuse. These changes will help achieve this, whilst ensuring the UK maintains a highly competitive offer and continues to attract the brightest and best international students.”

Under the new policies confirmed this week:
As of 3 August 2015, new students from outside the European Union enrolled at public FE colleges in the UK will lose the right to work for up to 10 hours per week (and full-time between semesters).

◾As of 12 November 2015, further education students will not be permitted to apply for a work visa at the conclusion of their studies unless they first leave the country.

◾Also as of 12 November, the length of FE visas will be reduced from three years to two. And further education students will be prevented from extending their visas unless they are demonstrably progressing in their studies and unless the institution in which they are enrolled is affiliated with a university.

GUY. Since u ar on scholarship, u dont need bank statement. Scholarship award letter showing your course of study, session and amount of award for living expenses and accommodation is what u need. Your Tb cert should also b Student with Scholarship. gud luck
The scholarship can only take care of tuition fees and so I will need to present proof that I can cater for my living expenses.

Guys, I trust you have all been doing great.

I am on the verge of applying for a visa which means I need to present my bank statement. However, people have been saying the embassy will bounce any application when they review the bank statement and realize that there was a sudden influx of cash within the period (28 days) of application; I need counsel on what to do. I was also thinking of getting a letter of introduction from my company stating how much I earn annually with the hope that it may help create the impression that the cash is mine or at least some of it

P.S I was awarded a scholarship which would leave me with just GBP1500 after paying tuition fees.

Firstly, I can't tell for certain that I got it last time. All I said then was I got a call and the lady wanted to confirm that I took the test and whether or not i'd sit the Esso test.
However, I wasn't awarded either of both and so my waiting continues. I trust you are doing great by the way. Best wishes and goodluck...you will agree we need lots of it.
Cheers!

Hey bro. EY career structure is the norm of what you have in the other big 4. They are among the big4 for a reason, and the pay is a little less than 140 (135k or so Net)

If it is a great place to start, Yes it is.

But as compared to others, Deloitte currently do not accept Jobs with Audit fees less than 5Million, ,No. 1 is "sharking" them, but EY does.

I know someone who is moving from Deloitte now to EY. He has just 2 Years exp. and EY is willing to pay him a bit more.

All in all, it's not all about the "bengees" (well, maybe a bit), satisfaction is key. Wish you the best
Brother you should know better Na..

Please guys that deferred till September 2015 how far? Have you started preparations?

I have applied for my CAS and they asked for a new sponsorship letter because the old one said 2014. So I sent them the letter NDDC gave me for change of school and deferment. I am hoping they accept it.
Hi michelle5567, trust you are doing great. I asked for my ATAS certificate for a visa and was successful. Hoping to ask the school for my CAS. Which school you apply to? We could go about the process together, sharing useful info and all.
