Should I say another ploy by the ICT company to make jamb extend the registration and come up with more license to sell or Jamb is self because of new scratch card of March 15, 2012.

Everyone is just making money in respective of the candidate or the online registration centres.

Everyone should just start counting their loss until jamb says we have extended the registration date till March 15 because of traffic, contingency they cant explain or the truth the 'service is Unavailable' Or jamb has been closed since January 31st..

@specialiss, the text in front of the new scratch cards at the lower right hand corner states that "Please note that this Card CANNOT be used after 11th March 2012". This looks like a new date, different from the Feb. 2nd earlier indicated on the older cards. Is March 11th 2012 the closing date for registration of candidates? Please help to confirm. They've been selling these cards for some time now.

That indicates that Jamb can be extended till march, if budgted candidates did not turn up. Right now the jamb website is full of problem. It might be shifted to march. Another problem, a candidate yesterday her jamb scratch card did not work saying 'invalid authorisation.' Her card carrying march date could not be used on jamb site. She bought from a man at the jamb office for 8k

They don't need your complain. They are after our fund. Your mail get to know where. When it reached the desk of the main contact, he wont bother to read your mail but get deleted. It cant get better than this because the site is hosted on a 2,500 naira webhosting. I don't want to mention so many things because i will be showing so many scams about jamb issue:

This mail is operated by sidmach (utme12cyber@gmail.com). It leads to no end. Call there office line it will just waste your credit without anybody picking your call no customer service. You would end up ial 044 on there switch no operator to pass your calls.

This email UTME2011.info@jamb.gov.ng is on N2,500 web host. smartweb. You wont get reply. Your mail will be deleted without reading.

They always their host between two company upperlink and smartweb. Right now they have to upperlink.

In-vehicle internet access is close to becoming reality, according to the world's top car bosses.

The survey by KPMG looking at future trends shows speech recognition and internet connection with wi-fi and 3G will become the norm.

More than a third (37%) of the 200 car executives believe "infotainment" in cars is nearly as important as car safety.

Car manufacturers will also join forces with music, telecoms and IT companies.

Over the next five years car buyers will see in-car gadgets provided by big firms like Google, Apple, Microsoft and LG, among others.

John Leech from KPMG says some car manufacturers are already making "connected" cars.

"The recent collaboration between Toyota and Intel was announced at the end of last year," he said.

"Intel claims that the connected car is the third-fastest growing technological device, following smartphones and tablets. For a car maker that offers huge potential."
Hybrid cars

Audi has developed a built-in 3G wireless in its A7 and will extend it to other new models.

"The connected car concept is well and truly here," added John Leech.

Hybrid cars will also get the most investment over the next five years according to 53% of the car executives surveyed.

But 61% also believe developments in normal petrol and diesel engines will still be attractive offering consumers greater efficiency and CO2 reduction.

Statistics have shown that Jamb will be extended because most of the centres have not been filled as expected.

For example, there are four centres to be used in Ijebu Ode which houses candidate from Epe and Ijebu. Only one centre has been used and not filled yet. And those who are always in the forefront of the registrations are yet to register any good number of candidates in the federation.

1. Due to the fact, that, the candidates are yet to see the centres they which to be assigned to.
2. There is low in turn out of students.
3. There is low money in circulation.
4. Due to accreditation.
5. Jamb online registration problem and congestion.
6. Jamb is yet to realised their budgeted candidates because we are talking about money here.
7. The registrar is going and he had only short time left to go and conduct the exams, ~~there must be ghana must go, u know na~~

Due to the fact out listed above, JAMB is expected to elongate the deadline for registration.

Let just relax and see what the out comes will be. Has I had predicated that petrol will be sold for N100 and now it is sold for N97 naira. Remember there is no coins in circulation. Let just wait and see the JAMB doing their thing.

JOINT Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has ruled out any extension of the sale of forms for this year’s Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examinations (UTME) billed to hold on March 24.

The Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the board, Mr. Timothy Oyedeji, ruled out the extension in a telephone interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Lagos.

Oyedeji made the position known against the backdrop of calls for the extension of the sale of the forms because of the six days nationwide strike by organised labour.

The strike, which ended on Jan. 16, was in protest against the removal of petrol subsidy by the Federal Government.

‘Already, plans are in top gear to ensure that the conduct of the examination is successful.

‘Most of the logistics required are already on ground and all we are appealing for now is for our prospective candidates to take their studies seriously and get themselves well prepared’, he said.

The PRO pleaded with parents and guardians to closely monitor the activities of their children and wards, especially during the online registration, to avoid errors.

‘I want to appeal to parents to ensure that their children and wards pay attention while uploading their data during online registration.

‘Again, I will like to emphasise the need for these candidates to be patient enough to painstakingly go through the instructions before attempting any question during the examination.
