ayusman16, I thought i should sue u instead, I don't use chinko, if that is what you are using. I am just trying to find out, how many people have experienced this. You are just here doing what you know how to do best, right. This forum/post is for those who can think.  I think Double N was the only one who has acted wisely. Thanks so much my bro, it drives me nut too. It rang on the caller's end more than 7 times but the last ring was just flash on my end. It does the same on my 2 MTN lines and my wife MTN too, i have Glo line it fails but was able to make a call . I checked my phone as someone looking for what is not lost. I checked call divert and call barring and is not activated on my phones. I knew is from MTN network because I tried it myself and listen to the other party's phone while the caller was with me. It was pain the ass. Any way let keep looking for others who will make the same complaint. |

[b]This has happen to me too in the past, someone was using my MTN line in Kaduna. I just overlooked it because i was not really using the line then. I used it occassionally. My cousin's Multilink landphone was sold to someone else at Ikeja . He called customercare they told him to come to the office with the receipt of purchase, which he did and the line was given back to him. The GSM lines these days you bought them at the gutter side and there are no receipts. The recharge card is a piece of paper that you through away after used. The guy must come up with a good evidence. If actually he had been calling the university abroad through his lawyer he should be able to get transcript of the call from the university phone operator. He should keep the cloned line he had with him as an evidence and should stop using the cellphone till the case is settle. There might be a case where he will need software to scrutinize the cellphone to know which sim was used on the phone - sms, phone records,download etc. It happen sometimes, the GSM or CMDA operators sold ones line without his/her knowledge, if you actually have good evidence which is exhibit on court cases ride on my brother.[/b] |

I have to call the cellphones on my wife presence before she realized that it was MTN problems. MTN why this poor services. After all, you have collected our funds upfront and you end up not doing your part of the agreement.[/size] |

[b]Hello guys, It happens since yesterday that MTN instead of complete call transactions. All what MTN does is flash ones phone with the sender's phone number. The calls will ring on the callers' phone but it will flash on my phone once, it makes it look as if I am not picking calls or the caller is flashing me. I hope not only me is experiencing this stupid service of MTN (Mumu {from South Africa}) Telecommunication in Nigeria). It is the worst telecommunication even when you are in village in the East. What you will hear from your handset is either you are unreachable or switched off. Sometimes the phone will ring and it wont get the the recipient phone. Upon all these they will only give us free sleepless calls hours at Night and Never refund all the dropped calls and undelivered sms fund back to the phone. It is only Nigerian that GSM operators were enriching their pockets and put holes in our pockets. I dint know when these problems will stop. MY brother and Sister are you experiencing this same problem. Let your opinion be known. Regards [/b] |
