Sometimes it´s not possible to uninstall avast! the standard way - using the ADD/REMOVE PROGRAMS in control panel. In this case, you can use our uninstallation utility aswClear.

You are right about the free softwares but some software are not given out for free because my friends at Computer Village we capitalised on it and beginning to sell it out.  I was at a client's place and a guy from Ikeja came up with his own file recovery product (Recover My Files, Data Doctor Recovery) and the softwares were unable to recover the files.  I came up with my own software(name withheld) and like a lighting I was able to recover the lost files which are more than 2G and the file is meant for a big contract.

I was paid N15k.  .  The software is a good solution that i don't wanna give my software out to any dick and harry. 

The guy (charlyeke ) might have a point like you.  :d
