This is Ekiti State Governor Ayodele Fayose at Okesa Street of Ado-Ekti this afternoon.

The governor had come to the area to explain one on one to some leaders of Okesa why some buildings must give way for the success of an ongoing capital project in the area.

Like the typical Ado-Ekiti kids, they won't allow the governor have a smooth ride, they were shouting Oshoko, Oshoko, Oshoko...
Mr. Fayose attended to them first before embarking on the 'business of the day'.

This comes after Kemi Olunloyo thanked the actress in a letter she wrote in prison..

Protesters in support of the Senate President, Bukola Saraki stormed the National Assembly today, asking the Buhari-led Executive to allow Senate perform its duties.

This comes days after some angry Borno South protesters blocked the entrance to the National Assembly, demanding Saraki's removal as Senate President over the suspension of the former senate leader, Ali Ndume.

A Twitter user @naijapasito is demanding justice after a trigger happy policeman allegedly shot his mum dead while trying to shoot some "Yahoo Yahoo" boys at Onipanu, Toll gate.

According to Chidi Okereke who shared the photos, the woman identified as "Mama Ayo" was killed by a stray bullet fired by the cop identified as "TBoy". He said the woman's body has been taken to the morgue at Yaba.

Three suspected Boko Haram suicide bombers have died in an attempt to attack Muna Garage, Dabarmari and Dusuma villages in Maiduguri metropolis.

The incident occurred at about 4:38am on Sunday morning. Only the three suicide bombers all males, were affected by the blast.

President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the immediate deployment of four out of the newly appointed Ambassadors-Designates.

His special adviser, Femi Adesina made this known in a statement on Friday.

They are;

1. Professor Tijjani Bande, (Kebbi State) to proceed as Nigeria's Ambassador/Representative to the Permanent Mission of Nigeria to the United Nations Headquarters in New York;

2. Itegboje Sunday Samson (Edo State) to proceed as Nigeria's Ambassador/Deputy Representative, Permanent Mission of Nigeria to the United Nations Headquarters in New York;

3. Kadiri Ayinla Audu, (Kwara State) to proceed as Nigeria's Ambassador/Representative to the Permanent Mission of Nigeria to the United Nations Offices in Geneva;

4. Bankole A. Adeoye, (Ogun State) to proceed as Nigeria's Ambassador/Representative to the Embassy of Nigeria/Permanent Mission to the African Union in Addis Ababa.

President Muhammadu Buhari has sent the names of three new NDDC Board Nominees to the Nigerian senate for the replacement of those rejected last year.

The Senate President, Bukola Saraki stated this in a letter transmitted by the president at the plenary on Thursday.

They are Lucky Omirisan, Hon. Chuka and Nwogu N.Nwogu from Ondo, Imo and Abia States respectively.

The Nigerian senate had rejected 3 out of 19 NDDC Board nominees in October 2016 on grounds that they were not from oil producing areas in their respective states.

The Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Fayose has congratulated the former governor of Lagos State and APC Chieftain, Bola Ahmed Tinubu on his 65th Birthday.

Fayose, in a video uploaded by his special assistant, Lere Olayinka described Tinubu as an "outstanding leader in Yoruba Land".

The governor who dressed in an attire of a Yoruba King said his respect for Tinubu goes beyond party lines.
