lHave you ever imagined the possibility of taking a picture by just blinking your eyes? Sounds more like what can only be feasible in a blockbuster Hollywood action movie, maybe, starring Tom cruise. But, forget movies and its fantasies, forget Tom cruise and his Mission Impossible type of movie. The Technology that will bring this feature into reality is just some miles away from your Local Tech market. Recently, Sony filed a patent for its new Sony’s Smart Contact Lenses. I am not interested about the Patent, and I don’t think you should be interested in it too. Where my interest lies is the Technology behind the functionality of this new Innovation. The sony new contact lens will allow the wearer take photos with a deliberate blink of the eye and the pictures will be stored on a wireless device like a smartphone or tablet. Just any other camera, the contact lens camera would also have features like zoom and image stabilization. It also has the ability to differentiate between regular blinking and deliberate blinking for capturing images. This could be possible because of the Sensors embedded in the lens which is able to detect the difference between voluntary and involuntary blinks. The image capture and storage technology would all be embedded in the lens around the iris, and piezoelectric sensors would convert the movements of the eye into energy to power the lens. Sony is not the First company to come up with the technology of an eyewear via contact lenses, Google, whose Google Glass was the first step toward eyewear that can shoot photos and video, applied for a patent for a contact lens camera in 2014. But Sony is one of the numerous companies in a race to make the smart contact lenses a reality and should be a heavy force to reckon with. The Sony’s contact lens is better than the Google glass as its application lists more features like zoom, focus, change of aperture and stability to prevent blurry photos. The images also can be stored in the lens itself before being transmitted wirelessly to another device. Other smart contact lenses are focused on improving vision or providing an augmented reality (AR) HUD, but Sony wants to look outwards rather than in. A new patent, awarded to the company in April, describes a contact lens that can be controlled by the user’s deliberate blinks, recording video on request. While sony was finally awarded the Patent for the Sony’s Smart Contact Lenses. The patent only provides a glimpse of the future as the technology to fit all of those functions into a tiny contact lens does not presently exist, so it’s currently more of a prototype than reality. But hopefully, this piece of Technology will find its way to your local market very soon. |
Getting intimate for couples that are worlds apart from each other just got a little bit realistic. Those of us practicing long distance relationship can now kiss their nights of loneliness goodbye by using the new virtual kissing machine called Kissenger. Kissenger is the first device that will be transmitting realistic kiss sensations between you and your loved ones over the Internet. The machine was created by Emma Yann Zhang, a computer science PhD student at City University London. The device is a simple silicon pad that connects to the audio jack of an iPhone. When a user presses his or her lips against it, the pad sends semi-realistic smooches to the other person’s pad on the other side of the world Under the silicon pad, you will see some high precision sensors stuffed under it, these sensors measure dynamic forces to different parts of the user’s actual lips. The device sends this data to your phone, which transmits it to your partner over the Internet in real time. Miniature linear actuators are used to reproduce these forces on your partner’s lips, creating a realistic kissing sensation. Kissenger provides a two-way interaction just like in a real kiss. You can also feel your partner’s kiss on your lips when they kiss you back. That way, when the two partners are kissing, it acts to simulate a real life kiss. According to Zhang, couples can use the device to enhance their camera and phone intimacy. The Kissenger comes with an app that lets users video chat in real time. The couple’s eyes would be at the same level while their lips are virtually locked. As a matter of fact, the app is not yet out, but the production is ongoing, it is currently going through test as Zheng and her team is currently analyzing data related to blood pressure and heart rate to see how much pleasure people get from the experience. Zheng also created an app that allows users to join the Kissenger community and connect with friends and family. Kissinger is not actually the first machine that promises this type of feature, but it is the first to look this simple, easy and realistic, the previous ones are just so ugly and complicated and they looked just like this… http://droidengage.com/kissenger-virtual-kissing-machine/ |

With the way things are going on, we might one day wake up to log into our facebook account and realize that the account is no longer ours. That will be so disastrous don’t you think, with all your personal details, information, photos, and videos, live online on your Facebook account, the last thing you want is for that account of yours to be hacked. But it is happening every day. Fact, Facebook accounts are hacked 160,000 times daily. As you are reading this post, one selfish hacker is somewhere trying to hack into someone's Facebook account or hack into something else. Hacking is now the norm, nearly 73 percent, of all Americans, have fallen victim to some type of cyber crime. And this same thing is happening throughout the world. The internet is becoming part of our lives, and because of that, we should take our security online very serious. As cold as the truth may be, nobody is safe from a hack attack and no amount of security measures you adopt can completely shut the doors and windows away from a mean, sensible, bad ass hacker. But that you can’t do anything to keep your facebook account safe completely doesn’t mean you should then keep your doors ajar and make it very easy for a hacker to come in. This post will teach you the various ways your Facebook account can be hacked and the possible steps you can easily take to ensure that your Facebook’s account security is tight and that a hacker will find it extremely hard to penetrate. 8 Methods a Hacker Can Use To Hack Your Facebook Account. Keylogging Keylogging is the second easiest, and it is very much tricky more than Phishing. In this method, the hacker uses a tiny program called keylogger to record everything in which the victim types on his/her keyboard. After recording the result is sent to the hacker via TP or email. Stealers Steelers is the process where victims had stored their login details on their browser. We are all guilty of this one. Session Hijacking This method can be used on you if you’ve not switched your connection from HTTP to HTTPS. The hacker steals your cookies which a website uses to authenticate a user. Hackers now use this to gain access to the victim’s attack Facebook Phishing Phishing is the most common method available for hackers to get hold of your Facebook login details and access your Facebook account. Phishing involves a hacker making a login page that bears the complete resemblance of the original Facebook login page. The hacker will then purchase a domain name that resembles that of Facebook but is isn’t. The hacker might buy a domain name like this “faceb00k.com” or any other combination that will make it hard for an individual to notice that it’s not actually facebook’s URL. The hacker then creates a link with the domain name, the title of the content the link will be very attractive and irresistible. Also, the image used on the post content when putting it up Facebook will also be irresistible. Behind the front end of the cloned Facebook login page is a program that will prompt you to insert your Facebook login details before you can be able to view this content you saw the attractive image and Title the hacker posted on Facebook. After capturing your login details, the program will deposit the captured details into the admin manager of the data center of the phishing websites they are using now. Other Methods Includes: I. Side jacking/Firesheep II. Mobile phone hacking III. USB hijacking IV. Man in the middle attack V. Botnets VI. DNS spoofing attack How to ensure total and tightly secured facebook account security ⦁ Always make sure to Logout from any system you accessed your FB account with if it is not your own system. ⦁ Enable Secure browsing. Secure browsing (HTTPS) is a security feature that will encrypt your activity on FB. ⦁ Enable Login Notification on your Facebook account. ⦁ Create and use an unpredictable password. Mix up numbers, symbols and also use both upper and lower case alphabets. ⦁ Enable cell phone login approval ⦁ Change your password periodically. ⦁ Go through your list of apps connected to your Facebook account and deny access to anyone that you can’t remember giving access to. Also do this often. ⦁ Avoid being deceived to click on any suspicious link that claims to be Facebook. It might be a phishing page’s URL. ⦁ Do not download or install any suspicious apps. ⦁ Do not enter your login details in any app inside or outside Facebook. ⦁ Do not share or save your Facebook password; it is better and more secure if it only exists up in your memory. ⦁ Install an anti-virus software and always scan your system for viruses. ⦁ Check your web browser for Spywares. ⦁ Always use chrome it sometimes identifies a Facebook phishing page. ⦁ Always download Softwares from trusted websites. ⦁ Avoid saving your password on your browser. Always click No or never remember whenever that box comes up. ⦁ Use VPN. ⦁ Avoid open WIFI networks. ⦁ Never share personal information via email or any messenger like FB messenger. Most a times a hacker will be able to penetrate your account just because you have ignored putting some of this small security checks into action. Putting these safety tips into action will make it tough and almost impossible for a hacker to hack your Facebook account. http://droidengage.com/facebook-accounts-hacked/ |
Wow! I can’t shout enough. These new innovations are making me go crazy. With time the world will soon look like the future Hollywood movies have been portraying for decades now. Japan has been up and doing when it comes to Tech. I don’t think any country beats them in terms of Train manufacturing. Japanese trains with their speed and cleanliness have shown that it can be counted as the best in the world. If anyone’s going to be dreaming up the outlandish trains of the future, it’s Japan. It’s already mastered the levitating bullet train.Which has been ferrying its passengers across the country at speeds of up to 580km/hr. For the past two years, and now Seibu Railway Co. wants to build a train that’s virtually invisible to onlookers. One Japanese architect is trying to take them to the next level by making trains that are almost invisible. Japan plans to debut a semi-transparent train in 2018 that blends so well into the environment, you may not even see it coming. According to Discovery, Kazuyo Sejima was recruited by Seibu Railway Co. to redesign the inside and outside of their Red Arrow commuter train that travels into Tokyo. The architect Kazuyo Sejima from the Japanese firm Sanaa, who recently received a Pritzker Prize – the noble prize of architecture – the train won’t be completely invisible (obviously), but super-reflective. Basically, it blends into its surroundings by reflecting them off its pristine mirrored surfaces. Sejima designed the train with mirrored surfaces that reflect its environment, like a chameleon. The design aims to be “soft” and “blend into the landscape.” The ‘invisible’ train celebrates Seibu Railway’s 100th anniversary.Expected to hit the tracks some time in 2018, the invisible express will cover over 178 km (111 miles) throughout Japan. “The limited express travels in a variety of different sceneries, from the mountains of Chichibu to the middle of Tokyo, and I thought it would be good if the train could gently co-exist with this variety of scenery,” Sejima told the press last week. Ehya.... It's always thr same in every bank. You shouldn't have left to go nd gist when you saw only 63 persons in the line. You should have told the last person that you are behind him or her. You just have to endure, this is Nigeria. Mind you, if you keep your money inside the local pot and bury it. If I don't eventually come to steal it. You will finish the money in one week. Just one week. |
