I don't think either of Ballack, Mikel, Lampard or Essien can play the role of a defensive midfielder at Stamford. Only Makalele can do the job and he is getting old.

Gunners are still gunners and yes, Wenger made a big mistake for bringing in Flamini for Fabregas, maybe he forgot Fabregas was the only attacking midfielder left on the pitch after he made that substitution.

Come to think of it, do you think Lehmann deserved to be sent off the pitch just like that?
