What have Tinubu's supporter done for Nigeria? The only only thing they are doing for Nigeria is defend the most incompetent and criminally corrupt administration.

Nigeria has never had a competent administration at any time in our history. First Republic politicians had no clue about how to build a viable nation. With no ideas about what to do, they simply used the country's wealth to give themselves luxurious life. And, thereby, ushered in culture of corruption and looting. Successive Administration followed the same pattern, and the country has been drifting since independence. And here we are at crossroads.

The incompetence of Nigeria's leadership is such that countries to which Nigeria sells natural gas for power generation have more stable power supply than Nigeria. Nigeria's unreliable power supply is only similar to countries at war. And Nigeria is not at war! Nigeria's economic hardship, social instability, insecurity and run-away inflation, because of lack of economic opportunities, is only similar to countries at war. And Nigeria is not at war! Nigerians cannot easily afford basic necessities of life like countries at war. And Nigeria is not at war. This shows the gross incompetence of Nigerian leadership.

The irony is that Tinubu's incompetence and corruption is even worse than the politicians of the first Republic. The only thing Tinubu knows is bribery and corruption. Tinubu is literally ruling by bribery, instead of creating sustainable economic opportunities that will stabilize the country. He has Bought off law makers with vehicles, bought off soldiers and security personnel with promotions, and is distributing rice.

Tinubu crashed a struggling economy with energy policy that benefits his family. Tinubu's nephew holds major contract to import refined petroleum products into Nigeria. Tinubu enacted energy policy that massively increased the price of fuel, so that his family would make stupendous profit. How much wealth is enough for Tinubu family?

To defend Tinubu's criminal incompetence, his supporters claim that all the problems existed before. Presidents always inherits present situation. Why did Tinubu run for President, if does not want to be accountable?

Citizens will have gainful employment, buy their own rice and enjoy happiness and fulfillment. It is sad that citizens cannot see through the Infrastructure-Scam.

In advanced economies, presidents, governors, premiers are evaluated by the range and extent of economic opportunities and quality employments their policies created. In Nigeria, we celebrate our leaders for building sub standard road, fly overs, stadium, convention centres, etc. Didn't Anambra State Governor recently build a 5-star hotel?

Real development comes from economic development of citizens. Economic development of citizens comes from gainful employment. Jobs. Real, sustainable jobs, quality jobs - not construction jobs that fizzle out when the projects are abandoned.

This is why real progress of a nation is creation of foreign exchange revenue sources. Instead of creating foreign exchange streams for the nation, governments are scrambling to transfer money abroad for Infrastructure projects that do not alleviate or ease hunger and suffering.

Here in Canada, political tenure, democracy and politics are about job creation, increasing industrial activities, boosting food production, and improving social services.

State and Federal leadership focus on economic well-being of citizens, instead of Party Politics.

There are Party politics, of course, but it is far removed from the seat of government.

Nigerian media reports more about political drama, instead of constantly asking the leadership questions about power supply, portable water, industrial activities, food production and job creation.

Here in Canada, Premiers (Governors) are judged by creation of economic opportunities. Economic opportunities create gainful employment. Gainful employment enhances quality of life, creates a sense of well-being, and brings contentment. Contentment breeds happiness. Happiness leads to peace and social stability, which leads to security.

Nigeria is experiencing lack of economic opportunities which has resulted in lack of sustainable jobs, extreme hardship, crimes, insecurity and chaos. Now, they are fighting insecurity, which is only a symptom. They are fighting symptom, instead of the real problem.

They staged the childish drama because they know that Nigerians are MUMU who accepts every nonsense from the government.
