A mother whose little girl child was burned when she touched a highly toxic weed quickly spreading across Britain has warned parents to be wary of the dangerous plant.

After touching the dangerous Giant Hogweed plant on a walk with her mum, Lexi Jones, 2, suffered painful blisters on her h&s.

Doctors said her burns were as result of coming into contact with the toxic weed which has spread across the country during this year's warm summer months.

Mum Jamie Buchanan, 24, said:"The nursery asked had she burned herself.

Its sap contains a toxic chemical known as furanocoumarins which can cause burns after coming into contact with skin.

Natural Resources Wales - the Welsh government body who manage to land along the river - said they’d remove the plant growth.

The website is run by a multi-agency taskforce which records the location of invasive species of plants.

A teacher was reprimanded by her bosses for wearing an 'inappropriate' grey dress & knee-high boots to teach her class.

The unidentified teacher, who works at AN unidentified US school, was taken aback when her choice of outfit was deemed unbefitting for her to teach 9 & 10-year-olds.

The teacher posed in the form fitting grey dress tapered in around the waist with a thin black belt buckle.

A lot of people who read the post could not decide what was wrong with the outfit, though some called attention to the teacher's boots.

Tammy Dimmond-Tracy wrote: 'It's probably the other frumpy teachers that were complaining because they are jealous.

They are heeled shoes, not sandals, not open toe, not clown shoes, & she is teaching 4th grade.

I feel like if she was wearing black leggings underneath that dress & a pair of black flats nobody would say anything but it's just the stigma that comes with the boots.

A man accused of beheading a woman & cannibalizing her corpse has died in hospital after being shot by police.



Aphiwe Mapekula, 23, was shot in the arm, leg & stomach outside his home in Mount Frere after officers arrived to find him eating the corpse of a woman.





It’s the latest incident involving cannibalism in the Eastern Cape, after 4 men were charged with raping, killing & "consuming" parts of a woman near Durban last month.

Police say they arrived at the scene in Mount Frere last week to find Mapekula consuming the flesh of Thembisa Masumpa, 35, a woman who was known to him & who he purportedly beheaded after a family squabble.



Officers told local newspaper reporters the suspect disregarded several warning shots designed to stop him, before charging at the police with a knife after they opened fire.

He was taken to taken hospital, where he is also assumed to have attacked a female medic minutes after being admitted, & died 3 days later on 12 Sept.

His mother, who first raised the alarm when she saw her son attacking Ms Masumpa as she tried to leave their home, told the Daily Dispatch: “I never raised a son like this one. I never imagined this.”

Neighbors say Ms Masumpa worked at the home doing odd jobs & was washing in the backyard when she was attacked by Mapekula.



Local police spokeswoman Captain Edith Mjoko said “He killed her with a knife by cutting her throat.

“When the mother of the suspect saw what was happening she rushed & called the police to the scene.

“When they arrived the suspect was busy eating the flesh of the deceased.

“Police ordered him to stop & to h& himself over. He went berserk & stormed at them with the knife.

“Several warning shots were fired to deter him but in vain.”

Local mayor Bulelwa Mabengu said he believed "drug & substance abuse" was involved. Neighbors described Mapekula as a shy person who dropped out of university after struggling with drug addiction.


A spokesman for the local health department, Sizwe Kupelo, told HeraldLive: “He was admitted on Saturday after he was transferred from Madzikane KaZulu Hospital in KwaBhaca with gunshot wounds & needed emergency surgery. He unfortunately died in the early hours of this morning at about 4.35am”.

The Daily Mail reports that Chris Hine captured the images of the 2 planes from his garden in Byfleet, Surrey, as they mainly sat on top of one another.

According to an aviation consultant, the planes may look closer than they actually are, as there is a required distance of 1,000 feet needed between them.

There is a plethora of tech fitted to aircraft, not to mention Air Traffic Control, making a collision between 2 planes almost impossible.

Sielaff explains his overall design brief as "a piece of reduction, not over-decorating the car but to make a clean, clear & unique statement".

Sielaff feels the focus should to be on the sustainability of product design, rather than fleeting fashion.

This modification in interior design is largely thanks to Sielaff's initiative to reorganized the design department at the Bentley Crewe HQ in the UK. The interior architectural team & color & trim department are now integrated for a more inclusive approach to design.

A new "Diamond in diamond" leather quilt design is now offered too that looks like a floating quilted surface in a sea of soft leather.

If the Continental's purpose was to bring in a younger Bentley buyer in 2003, the 2017 edition needs to continue the discussion, notjust through evocative design, but through advanced technology too.

Bentley feels, going forward, it is key for the main design department to work strictly with the Mulliner's craft experts.

A 12-year-old school-girl from southern India has killed herself after a teacher purportedly humiliated her over a blood stain from menstruation.






In a suicide note, she lay blame on the teacher of "Torturing" her.

Although the girl did not mention period shaming in her letter, the mother says her daughter was asked to leave the class because of the stain.

"I do not know why my teacher is making complaints against me. I still can't understand why they are harassing and torturing me like this," the student said in her suicide note.

Her mother indicted the teacher of having beaten her daughter in the past for not doing her homework.

''My daughter got her periods while she was in school last Saturday," her mother told BBC.

When she informed the teacher, she was given a duster cloth to use as a pad. "The teacher made my daughter stand outside the class. How can a 12-year-old withstand such humiliation?" she asked.

Britain is expected to give Nigeria aid worth £200 million over 5 years to help it cope with the brutal insurgency being waged by Boko Haram, the foreign ministry in London said on Wednesday.


Foreign Minister Boris Johnson visited Maiduguri, the capital of Nigeria's northeast Borno State & epicenter of the Boko Haram organization, to meet some of those involved in the fight.

The militant group has more and more used child suicide bombers & targeted civilians in its eight-year insurgency which has left at least 20,000 dead & displaced more than 2.6 million.


A total of 106 of the kidnapped girls have been released, rescued or escaped after more than 3 years in captivity, while 113 are still being held.

A spambot based in the Netherlands has been discovered to have 711,000,000 email addresses – which are being used to send spam & spread some malicious banking malware.

The spambot is called Onliner & it is part of a large-scale malware operation that will bypass spam filters – with the passwords & emails used to ‘scope out’ victims for malware attacks.

On the whole, if you see a password/email combination in there, stop using it immediately & change it on all sites where you use it, to be safe.

In addition, if you see suspicious emails – often disguised as invoices – do NOT open them, because it could be malicious software designed to steal your banking details.

However, those who have had their passwords leaked as well are likely to be targeted for their SMTP server – i.e to deliver spam.


Attempts are being made to get the authorities in the Netherlands to shut it down.
