At least 16 persons were rescued and several others feared dead after a four-storey building collapsed in Lagos on Tuesday. Residents said the building was structurally defective, adding that a telecommunication mast was erected on the building two weeks ago.

Five children and 10 adults have been rescued as at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. At least five persons were still trapped under the rubble.

In an interview with BroadwayTV, Omotola Jalade-Ekehinde, a.k.a Omosexy opened up on one of the pressing challenges in celebrity marriages, which is infidelity. When asked if one should forgive a cheating spouse, Omotola said if they are a first time offender, one should forgive. Especially, if they are remorseful and show sign of change.

She went on to say that if a spouse continuously cheats, a lot of things should be put into consideration; first the reason why they are repeatedly doing it, the situation surrounding it and the person in question.

Contrary to widespread rumours, Don Moen, American gospel singer-songwriter, is not dead. Fans of the well-known evangelist received news of his alleged demise via an article written by Houston Chronicle, claiming the singer died after a short illness.

The website broke the news early Wednesday morning saying the family confirmed he had died barely hours after he was rushed to the General Acute Care Hospital. The website also claimed that he “battled stomach pain”.

Four years ago, an Associated Airline crash that occurred in Lagos claimed the lives of Tunji Okusanya, founder of the funeral parlour, MIC, alongside his first son, Tunji Jnr, while the remains of former Ondo State Governor, Olusegun Agagu was being conveyed to Akure for funeral rites and interment.

She reportedly died peacefully in the arms of her two surviving children on July 10, 2017 at her home in Palm grove, Lagos, at the age of 95.

Nigerian singer, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has reacted to the way his uncle, Dr. Ademola Adeleke received his victory in the Osun West Senatorial re-run election.

Former Governor of Osun State and chieftain of All Progressives Congress, Chief Bisi Akande lost his wife of over five decades to the gripping cold hands of death on Tuesday.

According to News Agency of Nigeria, Omowumi died at the age of 73 at the University College Hospital, Ibadan. The cause of death has not been revealed by the family yet.

A massive blaze has engulfed the Tower Block, a 24-storey building in the early hours of Wednesday morning in West London at about 1am.

The dailymail states that London Ambulance Service said close to 50 people have been rushed to five hospitals around the capital, while at least one resident is still stuck inside the block on the 11th floor, with firefighters desperately trying to reach him.
