The Killer of American rapper, Tupac Amaru Shakur, also known by his stage names 2Pac and Makaveli have been revealed by two police officers who spent years investigating his death.

Two police officers, Tim Bennan and Robert Ladd who have on the matter years after his death, reveal that a Crips gang member identified as Orlando Anderson pulled the trigger from a car in Las Vegas in September 1996.

The case remains unsolved, and the singer’s death has been the subject of immense speculation, including the theory that he’s actually still alive.

However, the officers have stressed Anderson is to blame in explosive new documentary “Who Shot Biggie & Tupac?”

President Buhari has joined world leaders and well-wishers in extending his congratulations to the re-elected German Chancellor Angela Merkel on her victory at the polls. The Chancellor won her re-election for the fourth time.

North Korea's Foreign Minister Ri Yong Ho on Monday accused US President Donald Trump of declaring war on his country by tweeting over the weekend that North Korea "won't be around much longer."

"Last weekend Trump claimed that our leadership wouldn't be around much longer and declared a war on our country," Ri said, according to an official translation of his remarks to reporters in New York.

"Since the United States declared war on our country, we will have every right to make all self-defensive counter measures, including the right to shoot down the United States strategic bombers at any time even when they are not yet inside the aerospace border of our country," Ri said.

The eldest son of Zimbabwe’s first lady Grace Mugabe imported two Rolls Royce limousines into the bankrupt country last week, it has been reported.

Russell Goreraza, 33, offloaded the two luxury cars at Harare International Airport from a plane belonging to the Dutch airline KLM on Sunday.

Goreraza, said to have a ‘chequered reputation’, was also reported to have enjoyed a ‘huge celebration’ with friends after the exotic vehicles arrived, with French champagne flowing freely.

An earthquake described by Mexico’s president as the country’s strongest in a century has struck off the southern coast, killing at least 33 people.

The quake, which President Enrique Peña Nieto said measured 8.2, struck in the Pacific, about 87km (54 miles) south-west of Pijijiapan. Severe damage has been reported in Oaxaca and Chiapas states.

A tsunami warning was initially issued for Mexico and other nearby countries, but later lifted.

The quake, which struck at 23:50 local time on Thursday (04:50 GMT Friday), was felt hundreds of miles away in Mexico City, with buildings swaying and people running into the street. The tremors there were reported to have lasted up to a minute.

The strongest Atlantic Ocean hurricane ever measured  has slammed into Caribbean islands, causing "major damage" en route to Puerto Rico, the Dominican Republic, Haiti and Cuba before possibly heading for the US state of Florida.

Hurricane Irma caused the death of at least two people in the islands of Saint Barthelemy and Saint Martin, Annick Girardin, the French overseas territories minister, said on Wednesday.

"We're talking about two dead and two seriously injured for now. Obviously the situation can change very quickly," Girardin told reporters before boarding a plane for the region, adding that the powerful storm had destroyed homes and flooded streets.

Katy Perry is being sued by a woman who claims she lost her big toe while working on the singer’s tour in 2014.

According to TMZ, Christina Fish claims in a lawsuit she was hired as a stagehand for Katy’s Prismatic World Tour in Raleigh, N.C.

The suit claims she was asked to help move a wall which got stuck and rolled across her foot.

The National Association of Nigerian Students, NANS on Tuesday issued the federal government a 21-day ultimatum to resolve the Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU strike to enable the students return to school.

The association warned that students would shut down the country if the government fails to resolve the issues and end the strike within the stipulated time.

A statement issued by the National President of NANS, Chinonso Obasi on Tuesday called on government and ASUU to have “constructive engagement” to resolve the lingering issues that led to the declaration of the strike.

Obasi said incessant and prolonged strike was one of the factors responsible for the falling standard of education in Nigeria.

A former Minister of Education, Dr Oby Ezekwesili, on Sunday said that the demands by the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) were unrealistic in light of the current economic situation in Nigeria.

Dr Oby Ezekwesili said this while speaking with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Ibadan in reaction to the ongoing strike embarked upon by the union.

The former minster said that lasting solution to the crisis bedevilling the education sector could only be found from strong analysis of the issues raised by ASUU and evidenced based policies.

The Governor’s Principal Special Assistant on Knowledge Economy and Investments, Dr Tavershima Adyorough, was shot and killed by gunmen who invaded his residence at about 12.30 on Sunday morning. The gunmen also shot his wife, but she survived and is receiving treatment at a hospital.

Meanwhile, Governor Ortom has described the killing as unacceptable and condemnable, requesting security agencies to swing into action immediately so as to arrest those responsible for the dastardly act.
