I learnt about a yellow card requirement for application of Visa to India ; and also

ORAL POLIO VACCINATION/IPV ONLY FOR RESIDENTS OF SEVEN POLIO-AFFECTED COUNTRIES INCLUDING NIGERIA IS A MANDATORY REQUIREMENT FOR VISITING INDIA FROM 01/03/2014. OPV/IPV CERTIFICATE TO BE CARRIED ALONG IS VALID FOR ONE YEAR FROM THE DATE OF ADMINISTERING IT.;
got this from

http://hcindia-abuja.org/visa_journalist_visa.php

Yea.. Goto health centre at international airport and get one... Go there with your passport.. If submitted, go with the photocopy of your biodata page of your passport with 1000naira only....

Direction: from airport Road last bus stop .. Take cab 100 to tollgate... Look right! Go now.. I think the Validity Is nearly 6 months

@omitobi....
1. the pertinent biodata page is the first page of your official passport.
2. since you are from English country and your school program will be taught in English....just add it to it as a back-up(add photocopy but show the original) you will also need it in Estonia embassy in Delhi....Read your enrollment letter very well.
3. to be truthful, i have no idea about Egypt. But i think India is nice and easy once you trust God and have the required documents. India, however, might issued a 15-day transit visa which i think should be enough for you
Travel / Re: Lets Talk About Estonia by SQ26: 2:02pm On Jun 21, 2015
hello guys...i've read loads here; seen many successes and folks yet to get it done....lemme help from experience..- THROUGH INDIA EMBASSY
with God on your sides i think the visa is very easy to get.

lemmes start thus:

book an appointment: i know by now they are farther and nearly reach september.. but try an book online, fill form accurately and take the for it for rescheduling(getting a closer date) this aint easy but you need to wait until you are answered. get a guaranteed appointment first.

regarding the documents:
int'l passport
application form,
biodata page photocopy
2 passports(big size, check their site for thorough specs),
your education certificate- for masters you will need NYSC, bachelor certificate, admission letter, and also inform your school in estonia to send a letter to the india embassy regarding your enrollment(this is important)...for bachelor programs, get your waec authenticated at the Ministry of Foreign affairs and Ministry of Education in Abuja...surf the internet for details..arrange your pocket well o, yu go tip them o..
if your are using sponsor, it is important your get a letter from the sponsor and the sponsor bank statement...make sure these 2 documents are notarized and stamped by a notary public(if you need help here, contact me for more details)

supporting documents- admission letter- for TUT they are 3 copies; hotel reservation in india, ielts/toefl, birth cert.....these were the things i used...
Ensure you take the originals(of ielts, birth cert and any docs you've use so far) along with you....
on interviewing day:
be prepared; listen carefully to what the consular is saying; they are two. the challenge people have is they find it hard and to understand what a consular is saying(accent problem) and vice versa.. be bold, speak clearly and ensure effective communication..

duration of stay: you may be issued 15-30 days(transit or 1 month entry visa respectively...know fully well that once your visa is ready then.. you are ready...

permit me to stop here..feel free to ask any question.

You will all succeed in Jesus name...

Thank you great one! Appreciate
Is the applicant required to provide return ticket reservations for his trip to India?

go for your choice. read the pertinent airlines terms and conditions. although return ticket is always cheaper irrespective of the airline.

goodluck!

hello antie, forget about these caveats:
you need to select 'entry visa'...wouldn't like to go into details for now...also, for your duration of stay in india - select 1 month. infact they wouldnt give you more than that.

goodluck!

@SQ26

Going to India to get Estonia Visa . We do not seem to fall into any of these categories below:

ENTRY VISA

Entry visa is generally issued in the following cases:

i) a person of Indian origin; spouse and children of a person of Indian national or origin;
ii) dependent of a person holding an Employment visa;
iii) applicant seeking visa for Auroville Foundation;
iv) applicant seeking admission in yoga, Vedic culture or Indian systems of dance and music;
v) applicant, who has purchased property in India with the approval of Reserve Bank of India and registered his/her property in India.
vi) Members of sports teams and sports persons
vii) Applicants travelling to India under ITEC or any other Government of India Scholarship Programme.

Quick question for a student going for undergraduate.

For Indian visa, which visa category needs to be applied for, entry visa?
And what are the requirements apart from
1. Original passport valid for a minimum of 6 months (or for the validity requested, if greater)
2. A photocopy of the data page of the passport
3. Two photographs of the size of 50mm X 50mm i.e. 2 inch x 2 inch with light background
Photos should be glued on your forms in the box provided on pages 1 and 2 of the online form.
4. Visa application form duly filled in online _
Your form should be signed in the box under the photograph on page 1 and at the end of page-2. Your signatures should match with the signature printed on your passport.

For Estonian Embassy in India, when getting appointment, which of the required services needs to be selected...Application for visa or Other proceedings - Application for Resident permit (mind you, this is not temporary resident permit)

Thank you.

1.yes, entry visa

2. supporting documents including letter of admission, proof of hotel book in India(not really important, you can just add it), bank statement of account- if you have a substantial amount you can use it. else, use a sponsor(family or guardian).
caveat: please avoid money lodgement, especially if you intend using your account!

if you are using a sponsor, you will need to get a letter of sponsorship which will be signed by your sponsor cum an affidavit to this effect. also, the statement of account must carry the address of the sponsor.

avail any document that will convince the consular/interviewer......................

if you are going for a bachelor degree...research well and inquire at the India High Commission if you will need to authenticate your WAEC/NECO/SSCE document. if yes, you can only do this in Abuja at Ministry of Education and Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Hope this piece is helpful.

auf wiedersehen!

To be sincere wit u, l av 3 options, which ar Belgium, India nd Turkey. I'm thinking of Belgium bec it is d cheapest. But if we av to analyse it critically, since one must pay for return ticket via Belgium route, it is almost d same wit oda options. My advice for u is to create options for ursef... Factually also, Belgium route takes time even beyond ur imagination... I av options which l can fall back at... I have filled my visa application form for Belgium nd l intend filling for India nd Turkey tomorrow... Dey ar wot l meant by creating options. At d end of d day, l shall come up wit my decision of which route to go... Mind u, since dia is no Estonian embassy in Nigeria, u must pay for a return ticket in any routes u ar going tru... I know u wil make it...

hello, i would suggest you go thru' india. don't waste time pursuing turkey or belgium. they are nothing but bunch of disappointment.#experience

don't try belgium; infact, for example, TUT will advice you not to do so due to previous hardship faced by students. Try india or egypt.

thanks soo much brother,reallp appreciate,one more thing bro,plz do u mean there re some I.t proggrams for some1 that's has 2:2 also?,and plz like how much do u think I should budget for this,many thanks brother,1Love

Chairman, don't make yourself too happy for less..thought you said you had 2:1 and aim to finish up with it. No room for 2:2!
In response to budget, plan for comfortability, you should spend less thank 100k to run the application in nigeria (including app fee- 100 euros + english exam(38k) + logistics(like 20k- moving your documents to Estonia) etc .

you will pay because your program is a tuition fee program

Guy, just finish up with your bachelor program first. Get your certificate ready; prepare to write an english exam(toefl or ielts) visit estonia.dreamapply.com and your school of choice website for details....mind you, change is constant.

Your distinction or second class upper grade will give you an edge.

Not all programs are free, albeit there are few IT-related courses that are free ...Just check their websites for details.
