zeezahbee: Did u actually go through previous comments before you made urs? Anyways, thank God you said in most cases. And 99% means a very good chance of changing status. So with this i rest my case. |

joenicewake:I am in the health sector. Whoever ever has a visit visa has nothing to fear. If you re in doubt call up ur school and ask. And if you think going through the hustle of visa interview is your best bet then good luck. Ibwould have loved to help such people call their schools and make arrangements but i changed my mind cos some.people will see it as an agents strategy. Good luck guys in your endevours |

slimmy05: @Slimmy05, whoever told you it a game of luck? Change of status is very possible if you re a genuine student. That is a student who truly intends to attend school. You will have to be ready to pay your tuition. |

deyanju: @Deyanju...i am triple sure. Its not a big deal to change ur status. The first time i helped a friend with the procedure was 10 years ago. Today he is a US citizen. 2 years ago i helped my aunt with same procedure. But my aunt had to come return to Naija due to the expenses of paying for her fees and that of her children who would have to continue their primary and secondary school in the US cos i made sure her 4 children and husband were included in her form I-20. |

tayoamos: If u have a valid visit visa like u said, then u dont have a priblem. All you to do is to secure an admission, get into the US with your visit visa one month before your school's resumption date, go to your school and let them know you are on a visit visa and they will help you change it to an F1 visa 1 Like |

Hello House. Its nice to have a platform where we as Nigerians can come together and be our brothers' keeper. Please I have a question to ask. I know I am supposed to read through from page one but due to the urgency of my question I would like to crave your indulgence. I need a guide on how to apply for student visa. Also where do I submit my application for visa document. Please, it would be highly appreciated if anyone can help me out . Thank you. You can send it the details to my email at sodunsin@gmail.com |

miz4oxley: Morning Nairalanders in here. A friend of mine just got a call from a total stranger, telling him he's a lucky DV winner yesterday. And, my friend was surprised and said it 419 cos he never registered for the 2014 DV, but one young man in Ondo state registered him with his details he got on his NYSC passing out service photobook. Luckily he won, but there are some issues, he's thinking might not make him opt for the programme and just jettison the stuff. The age the guy used for his name is 4years older than his real age which reflects on his WAEC certificate which might be confirmed, and he also registered same details with his ECOWAS passport, and has applied to the UK and once refused. What do you think he can do now. Cos, he's giving up already and lost hope. I've been encouraging ma dude, and I told him I'll help him make enquiries here on what could be done to fix this, and help this dude. I think he needs it tho!? Pls, help mates, OP, Successful and prospective winners? its a scam cos the photo specification on his NYSC passing out service photobook does not meet the requirement for the dv lottery |
