nice.

My younger one met her catchment cut off. But she did not meet merit cut off.

Also, she scored less 11 in post ume.

Her name is not in the list. Any hope
Well, there was a rumour in circulation that those that scored less than 12 in post ume would not be considered for admission but since she passed the catchment, she should be admitted. Maybe she should wait for the supplementary list. What course is she going for?

Holla guys! Congrats to the newly admitted.

Please is there anyone that did jamb change of course, beat the cut off for the course and saw his/her name on the merit list?
I initially chose UI but I changed to Unilag and I was admitted to zoology. I also beat the cut off point

Wow!

Thanks for keeping the good work moving.

I've been busy nowadays. Also, my phone was faulty recently. I just got another one.

To the applicants, please, ensure you fill your form with right information. One of the reasons some applicants don't get admitted by the school is as a result of wrong information supplied when registering despite they had up to the required cut off marks.

More so, be csrefully with those you contact for help. Run from anyone who demands for money because the school does admit on merit.

Above all, I wish you all the best.

Note: you may quote me should you have further clarification and hint as to how to succeed in the HND entrance CBT as I have some questions compiled which applicants of the past had used and succeeded.

I remain my humble self.

Thanks.
Hello, pls i have a little problem. I have already bought the HND form but after printing out the application slip, I discovered that under the Educational History tab, my JAMB number that I used to gain admission for my ND and the school I attended was missing from the slip. Pls what should I do?

All courses in u.i and unilag are competitive!....u're jamb score is really low!....switching to unilag would be a precious waste of your money!.....but switching to a state uni will foster your admission chances!
But I am thinking of switching to zoology at unilag because my aggregate points is more than last year's cut- off point if they should still retain last year's format.

u have 78.+ not 80.25 as u said.

ur calculation is wrong.

I chose unilag last year and I know what I'm saying.

this how to calculate ur aggregate.

A 8.
B2 7
B3 6
C4 5.

C5 4
C6 3.

add ur five subjects relevant to ur course and divide by 40 and then multiply by 50.

divide ur jamb score by 8 and

add both ur waec and jamb score together.

don't waste this score choosing unilag u didn't even meet last year cutoff with these ur results and I don't even think whether cutoff will decrease going by students performance on jamb.

a word is enough for.......
It is your own calculation that is wrong. The points for O'level results is as follows,
A1- 10 points
B2- 9 points
B3- 8 points
C4- 7 points
C5- 6 points
C6- 5 points
Just use the above legend to calculate your O'level and divide your JAMB score by 8. This is the format UNILAG used last year.

Education / Re: Major Reasons Why Jamb Change Of Course Is Necessary & Guide by SQMrProducer(m): 7:32am On May 23, 2017
Emmyloaded2:
Below are major reasons why Jamb change of course is necessary.

1. Not Scoring Up To Or More Than Jamb Cut Off Mark

Every Jamb candidate usually have the dream of scoring above 300. However, this doesn’t work for everybody in reality.

If you scored less than the general cut off mark for your school of choice, you will not be admitted.
On the other hand, If you score around the Jamb cut off mark, you may also not get admitted as a result of competition.

This is a good reasons to change your course or school of choice.

2. Lost Of Interest In The Study Course Or Institution

Some candidates say, “I don’t want to study in the University I chose earlier, in fact, I have lost interest in the choice of course I put in during Jamb registration.”

This could be that you never liked the school or your parents asked you to change the course.

In addition, it could just be that you have a Jamb score that can take you to a better school.

3. You Made A Mistake When Filling Jamb Form And Subject Combinations
So many persons reported to me that the wrong institution was chosen for them during registration.

For others, they had issues in their Jamb subject combinations and could not fix it when Jamb gave room for correction of details.

If this is your situation you may want to change to your desired institution. Change of course and institution form gives you room to do this.

How To Change Your Jamb School And Course Of Choice For Jamb 2017

As usual , Jamb has announced the date for commencement of 2017 change of institution and the forms are now made available for sale. You can now proceed to change your course.
Is the change of institution/course form now available for sale?

Hello, I scored 211 in the UTME exam and I have 1B, 4C's and I chose U.I but their method of calculating cut off points does not favour me. Can i change my institution to Unilag and choose a less competitive course?
Education / Re: Unilag 2017/2018 Admission Thread by SQMrProducer(m): 5:09pm On May 22, 2017
Hello nairalanders, i initially chose U.I in this year's JAMB and I scored 211 but due to the method U.I chooses to calculate the grade points for its candidates, my grade point was very low compared to UNILAG's method. So, I would like to ask if I can choose a less competitive course in UNILAG when the change of institution/ course form comes out. And does anyone knows when the form would be out.

But why don't you apply via DE
Since institution will conduct exams(NOT JAMB) for you guys.....
Who knows
you might do well and get admitted
You can as well still process your HND...
I am sorry this is coming late but I saw it somewhere on Nairaland that someone cannot apply for UTME and DE the same year. Please how true is this because I would prefer DE to HND. I have a diploma in SLT from Ibadan polytechnic with lower credit and from my research on the Jamb brochure, UNIOSUN accepts lower credit for my chosen course. Thank you

Maybe I would go for my HND then.

I have not met a single honest Nigerian except myself since I was born even clerics in Nigeria are dishonest ..See madam I know before the day runs out you will gladly cheat someone if the opportunity shows up ..Instead of you to accept the truth as usual you have taken to the denial path most Nigerians prefer ..Oya kontinu

Lol. Keep telling yourself that so you can feel better. Smh.
It is not about feeling better. Americans are very evil. Can you tell me the reason why someone would just wake up one day and start killing people for no reason. I think the crime rate in America is higher than that of Nigeria.

Some of what the blogger said is true about Nigerians but I think Americans are more evil than Nigerians. I watch a lot of Investigation Discovery on Dstv and I can boldly say that Nigerians are better than Americans

I wish all humans were on the same page, then the world would be a better place .
Enlightened people know that the world will never end ,at least not anytime soon. And there'll never be a time when Jesus shows up from the sky. The only reality is that everyone who lives will die . The real self is the spirit which exist temporarily in this physical vessel .
There is no right or wrong religion. All religion are trying to say the same thing and they all have the same theme - unification with the divine (God)
The one and only true religion is "Love your fellow humans as your love yourself " absolutely nothing else matters in human existence than Love. Love means to be kind, humble ,Forgiving, honest, etc.

You have said it all. Nice one but i think the world would come to an end one day
