Romance / Re: How Can One Fact-check Their Lover? (photo) by squash47(m): 2:21pm On Aug 16
People change. A good person before marriage can turn into a monster after marriage and a bad person can turn into a angel after marriage.
All you need to do is to be prepared for any outcome. When it's not longer favorable, you quit and save yourself. Forget about the myth, broken marriage doesn't always affect the kids.

Anyway congratulations to her and family
They said it's fake news but they actually saw a female dead body on the site as claimed by the news report. However, the dead body doesn't resemble her but it's a woman, same age range, different face. That's according to trending reports on Facebook and the will newspaper. We can't wait to hear her testimony....

I don't have both in my village but I have DSTV and it's more reliable because of the poor network.

dstv with old movies. You will be watching Anaconda or Rambo 5 days in a week. That's not good value for money
But it's more stable and reliable.

Please I maybe naive with this Netflix but don't you still have to subscribe for data?
So if you have to subscribe still for data for HD,which may cost average of 1Gb for each HD movie, how does this make economic sense?
Unless of course you are in a place where you have free WiFi or access to one.
this is what I think too. I don't understand the hype over this Netflix stuff. DStv is better than Netflix.

Romance / DSTV Showmax Subscription works on only smart tv. Don't subscribe except... by squash47(m): 4:06pm On Jul 16
Hi, I just subscribed for Showmax on my DStv app. I am on DStv padi package, yet, I'm unable to access Showmax on my tv which is NON smart. Have I been scammed by DStv or there is something I am not doing right?

Modified: so after contacting customer care, I realized the Showmax cannot work on a non smart TV. Don't subscribe if you don't have smart tv.

Politics / Re: State Police? by squash47(m): 4:58pm On Jul 04
lawani:
Every large organization.organisation or institution should have its own police force. For instance the Obafemi Awolowo university used to have its own police always on patrol duty when I was there. The job of the police is mainly to force trouble makers to court among other tangential duties.

Why then is state and local government police creation an issue in Nigeria?. Everybody can have their own police and even their army divisions. If it is an issue then you don't have a country and that is why the country can be described as failed.

It's payment of salary that's the problem. How many state governors can afford to fund a standard police force ?

What is this nonsense?
Nairaland has gone to the dogs
why do you people always say that this forum has lost its value anytime someone airs his or her opinion? Do you always expect someone to say things that appeals to you ?
Where then is the freedom of speech?
This is a public forum and everybody is allowed to say what they feel. Stop condemning the forum. Thank you🙏
