What revelation? And what happened after Waraqah for 23 years, then? Agan commot! You have no argument. You are just goinng about, round and round.

why then did the revelation stop for a while after waraqua died and Mohammed was distraught?
If waraqua was useless in the writing of the Koran, why did his death make a difference?
The koran is not arranged chronologically so waraqua's job  on the Christian stories had been done perhaps.

see it again

But a short while later Waraqa died and the Divine Inspiration was paused (stopped) for a while so that Allah's Apostle was very much grieved…[Al-Bukhari, Volume 6, Book 60, Number 478]

I'm not a student of English and literature but I try grin

pay particular attention to the conjuctions  highlighted and  the sequence of events.

1.warraqua died

2.and the divine inspirations paused a while

3.so that Mohammed was grieved

does one need a rocket scientist to tell the vital role that waraqua did in writing the Koran?

@Abuzola: Dont say Baba to God. Leave that to the kafr who called themselves Children of god.

By the way where is my baby Pilgrim.1? I miss that girl, very much.

Leave abuzola alone

Abuzola:

Alright sir olabowale, can you quote a hadith that says aisha was twenty something ?
Abuzola:

Why not post it here so we could discuss it generally and people will learn one or two things

I am waiting for that hadith too.
We already have about 37 that say aisha was 6 at marriage playing with dolls ,playing hide and seek with her friends, and having nurses wash her face, (things only a child would do or have done) can we have just one that tells us she was 20,then follow it up by telling us why Mohammed waited 3 years to consummate the marriage to a twenty something year old.

Volume 4, Book 55, Number 605:

Narrated 'Aisha:

The Prophet returned to Khadija while his heart was beating rapidly. She took him to Waraqa bin Naufal who was a Christian convert and used to read the Gospels in Arabic Waraqa asked (the Prophet), "What do you see?" When he told him, Waraqa said, "That is the same angel whom Allah sent to the Prophet) Moses. Should I live till you receive the Divine Message, I will support you strongly."

so much for the revelations
someone read the Bible to him

The Dictionary of Islam (Hughes Dictionary of Islam, p.223) writes that Jabr was one of the Ahlu-l-Kitab and was well-read in the Taurat and Injil, and Muhammad used to hear him read these books as he passed by his house. Muhammad must have learned from Jabr many of those Suras dealing with the traditions of the Christians and the Jews. Most likely the verses on David and Solomon were composed by Jabr. Some of these verses are (only the main messages are shown here; for details read the entire verse):

olabowale:

@Nezan: And today you recounted your ealier promise made on the 10th of July. It is only 7 days and you had forgotten at your age. Imagine the writers of the Bible long time ago, older and the time was way more than 6 days. How much could have been remembered, especially when they were not there as things were happening.

Reliability, man. Reliability.

There is a thread on this subject and you just had to have another?

@$Osisi, show me any of the ahadith where it came directly from the mouth of prophet Muhammad (AS) that Aisha was 6 when married and 9 when consumated? Ahadith is always, even the weak one starts with "on the authority of so and so, and so and so and so", until the sahabah's name is mentioned and will be followed that statement from the Messenger (AS) not his wife, or any companion (RA)! Thats what an ahadith is. Statement from Aisha, if true should not be an ahadith. And a test of the matter is you finding out when was she born, relative to the advent of islam of Muhammad! Thats how to be sure.

Is that the test of a sahih hadith?
do you know the meaning of sahih?
what makes you think your theory about when she was born is true afterall Mohammed is not the one that reported her birth (by your argument)
Thanks for confirming that everything in Islam is he said she said and it all depends on who said.
You call the hadiths wrong, your scholars say they are right
go figure.
Islam for Muslims / Re: Aisha by ssosisi: 6:16pm On Jul 16, 2009
There are at least 37 hadiths that state aisha's age as 6 during her marriage.
Are they all lies?
It is not a controversial issue,it's a source of shame to Muslims and so some of them look for ways to hype her age.
What makes the other hadiths right if 37 saying the same thing can be expalined away just like that?
Islam for Muslims / Re: Sir Olabowale Lets Discuss Aisha's Age by ssosisi: 6:01pm On Jul 16, 2009
Nezan:

You people tend to deny some of your hadiths when it is convenient for you and quote some when it is convenient to do so. Why deny your holy writings? Olabowale is more guilty of this.

You also claim your koran is without error, but when I posted the numerous errors in the koran, your mods will keep on deleting them. So much for your claims angry

na today?
there is no place in the Koran that says to stone adulterers and fornicators to death ,it is in the hadiths and Muslims still abide by it.
There's a Muslim sect that rates the Koran far above the hadiths and would deny the hadiths at a whim, maybe that's Olabowole's sect and leaning.
Islam for Muslims / Re: Sir Olabowale Lets Discuss Aisha's Age by ssosisi: 5:59pm On Jul 16, 2009
It's amazing that abuzola is now the one schooling Olabs on the hadiths.
Let him keep denying the truth.
abuzola, click on my link and see 37 fifferent hadiths from Bukhari, abu dawood,al tabari and the rest of them about aisha's age.
Islam for Muslims / Re: Sir Olabowale Lets Discuss Aisha's Age by ssosisi: 3:49am On Jul 16, 2009
There are over 37 different hadiths here that tell us aisha's age are they all liars or were they written by Christians?
and the countless scholars that confirm it,are they on Israeli payroll?
If they are all lies what makes the rest of the hadiths true?
You need only a male witness witness in an Islamic court but you question the testimony of 37 hadiths including aisha the bride herself ?
I hope allah is listening and reading olabowole's denials.

Abuzola:

@olabowale See Bukhari

Sahih Bukhari

Narrated Aisha: The Prophet engaged me when I was a girl of six (years). We went to Medina and stayed at the home of Bani-al-Harith bin Khazraj. Then I got ill and my hair fell down. Later on my hair grew (again) and my mother, Um Ruman, came to me while I was playing in a swing with some of my girl friends. She called me, and I went to her, not knowing what she wanted to do to me. She caught me by the hand and made me stand at the door of the house. I was breathless then, and when my breathing became Allright, she took some water and rubbed my face and head with it. Then she took me into the house. There in the house I saw some Ansari women who said, "Best wishes and Allah's Blessing and a good luck." Then she entrusted me to them and they prepared me (for the marriage). Unexpectedly Allah's Apostle came to me in the forenoon and my mother handed me over to him, and at that time I was a girl of nine years of age. Volume 5, Book 58, Number 234

If Bukhari misinform, then what about this peoiple

  Sahih Muslim

'A'isha (Allah be pleased with her) reported: Allah's Apostle (may peace be upon him) married me when I was six years old, and I was admitted to his house when I was nine years old.  Book 8, Number 3310

Sunan Dawud

Narrated Aisha, Ummul Mu'minin: The Apostle of Allah (peace_be_upon_him) married me when I was seven or six. When we came to Medina, some women came. according to Bishr's version: Umm Ruman came to me when I was swinging. They took me, made me prepared and decorated me. I was then brought to the Apostle of Allah (peace_be_upon_him), and he took up cohabitation with me when I was nine. She halted me at the door, and I burst into laughter.  Book 41, Number 4915:

So you see, i still remain on my stance that the genes of 1,430 years ago the era of the Prophet is far far to be compared with modern age. Scientific research  on fossils shows that man's genetical feature is dwinding from generation to generation

all of them are liars
the truth is in the internet explanations according to Olabowole grin
This abuzola may be the only Muslim here that is sincere and not given to obfuscating the truth to make Islam look good.
If marrying little girls were unislamic and abhored by allah why would he give the rules regarding divorcing a girl who hasn't reached mernache? (age of menstruation)
Politics / Re: "Igbos Are Not Our Enemies, We Need Their Number" – Asari Dokubo by ssosisi: 2:30am On Jul 16, 2009
On how to achieve the aim of the Niger Delta people, he canvassed for an alliance with Igbos who he said have the know-how, the population and zeal but not the resources for self determination.
He said he grew up being asked by his mother to hate Igbos but that it was not right since they were their next door neighbours and if one was not in good terms with his neighbours, he finds it difficult to win a war.
“Igbos are not our enemies, we need their number. If Biafra had won the war, we would not have been where we are now. We cannot win the war we are fighting without Igbos so we should reach out to them. We need their support.“If the Igbos do not come to us, we will go to them, they are our neighbours and the people who put enmity between us and them are the problems that we are suffering from. We should make peace with them”, he said.

OYB_MEND:

If there is a vote for 100% resource control for South-South by the Senate, Igbo Senators will vote for that 100%

If there is a vote in the House of Rep, Igbo Representatives will vote for that 100%

If there is a referendum, we can trust the Igbos to give us a block vote on resource control.

I learnt the same thing too as Asari to dislike the Igbos, but recent truths and facts show that the Igbos were actually not the problem. Those afraid of resource control and devolution are the problem and have always been.

The previous lies and propaganda simply could not last forever, I thank God the truth is begining to come out.

We are here to bear withness this time

I never thought I'll live to read this from Ijaws.
I hope Adaka Boro is finally resting in  peace since his people now know the truth he  knew and denied for a promise of looted property.
Those who eat with the devil ought to come with long forks, did they not hear that adage?
Igbos have never been the enemy of the Ijaw man.
Thanks God you folks now realise that we have a common enemy
The truth aways prevails
