. Be checking the ois site..be putting your passport number to check when ur passport is ready for pick up.. embassy may not send the email on time

A capital yes. During my time USCIS also asked me to submit immunization cards or hospital records and other documents that recorded my birth and had the names of my parents on it.

After I submitted them they approved it in less than 2 months and sent my case straight to the NVC.

I was asked to do DNA during USCIS time years back now my interview is fast approaching I don't have childhood photos of me and my petitioner, I have the DNA results which was requested by USCIS..I hope it will be acceptable as evidence during my interview?

Good morning gurus in the house. I paid for my green card in December 2024 before relocating to the US. The status of my green card hasn’t changed from “Payment received….”.

I have been in the US since January and there’s no news/update on the status of my green card. Few months ago, whenever I submit an inquiry, they will say it’s “within the processing time” so I cannot submit an inquiry.

But for 2 weeks now, I have been unable to submit an inquiry…it will just show this message “The form submitted for this case is not available for this tool. For more information, call the USCIS Contact Center at 1-800-375-5283 or 1-800-767-1833 (TDD for the hearing impaired).”

Does anyone have any information on how I can go about this? Whenever I chat with them, they refer me to the website and it is very frustrating.

Lol..ask around they have offices around states,find the closest to you..6 months is such a long time to be waiting for them..

Anyone who tells you that you shouldn't come to the US is your worst enemy. I see no reason why some Nigerians will come here, see everything going on and how life goes over here and tell those back home not to come. If you are sure you don't fall into any of these categories, please kindly move your village to the US if you can. I have been here for barely two months, and what is different? Many things, too numerous to mention. Is it the constant power supply? The speedy internet? Is it the job availability or the infrastructure? Is it the safety and the exercise of your rights, or the fact that people don't cry about hunger as a major concern? I can't type everything here. Those who come to the US, attend school, and go back fall under two categories: children of politicians or children of big business moguls like Dangote, Otedola, etc., who already have higher-paying jobs in the federal government or business organizations to control. This is not to castigate my country, but let's call a spade a spade. The US and Nigeria are light years apart. I hope the argument is now settled.
