when my people were being killed and murdered in cold blood, both the Westerners and northerners applauded it, now you want me to come and protest for kids whose parents can barely feed them yet as am typing this are already on bed pumping away to generate more kids. at the end of it all, these kids will grow up to loot and kill my people living amongst them at the slightest provocation. didn't you hear the parents, that they are okay with it and that ends it. and worst is, one okoko will sit behind his key board to call for protest but he will be indoors enjoying the amusement show

Of course I am afraid
Nigeria is one of the few countries where police patrols the streets with AK47 assault rifles.

If a company is performing poorly, the board of directors call the CEO/Manager(s) not the guys working in the factory, or the cleaners.

PoliticalWitch:
Then you AND i will never get any good leaders.

That's the trobule with you Nigerians. Everytthing is someone else's fault. Perpetual victims, never wanting to take responsibility.

What stops you or me from organising and stopping corrupt leaders.?? Cowardice. And tiredness, and a realisation that maybe many of us actually love our corrupt leaders (I'll admit to being a coward and a lazybone.PDP and APC are the same old same old for me. )

Good evening. Truth is very bitter. That is what you have just learned today.

It's an African thing that can be linked to poverty of the mind.
We do videos showing wads of cash
We show our watches, diamond chains, phones, and other senseless things that we don't produce.
In the west these phones are bought on contract and most people pay less than $50 monthly to own.
It's the same reason Africans take pictures with Gucci and Versace and are envied by other shallow fellows.
That's why white artists never oppress themselves musically, that's reserved for blacks
Politics › Re: Two DSS Officers Die In Car Crash by StaffofOrayan(m): 11:50am On Sep 29, 2019
You really believe this craphuh
If that's the case then popular yahoo boys should also be able to evade arrest.

The truth is there is a political class in Nigeria, they have so intermarried among themselves that they can't prosecute themselves.

Wake up bro, don't blame the citizens for weak institutions made to deal with the poor

PoliticalWitch:
Because you Nigerians don't want your Yahoo polticians prosecuted.

EFCC has been running after politicians for years. But everytime they want to prosecute one, you people will shout that EFCC is being partial.

See Ganduje. EFCC cannot go after him because the State House of Assembly and the people of Kano like him. And don't want to remove him from office. Same for people like James Ibori and a host of others....APC and PDP.

And don't defend Yahoo boys. They are just like the big men corrupt polticians. They steal from Nigerians...and other people.

It even extended to the South West
It's no joke it's serious business, that's why I can't stand one Nigeria people that keep deceiving themselves regarding the Fulanis,
Since the 1800's they are the only ethnic group that keeps spreading
That's why Ruga must be resisted with blood if possible

Youths have fun in every country
Are you saying the older generation have anything to show for not watching BBN??

Do we have to be sacrificed by those calling us lazy to prove we are not?

Let the older generation first admit they have failed before blaming the youth,

Look at the $9.6b judgement, just shows how clueless the older generation is. No sense of patriotism, is there any wonder we are in a mess?

NkitaAla:

Buhari's government has studied Nigerian yoots and realized that they're toothless dogs so he do anyhow and go free

Politics › Re: Nigerians Lambasted Deji Adeyanju For Calling Them Lazy Youths by StaffofOrayan(m): 10:52am On Sep 29, 2019
My people are useless
My people are senseless
My people are undisciplined

You would think it was said by a white racist, but alas it was used to describe our fathers.

How stupid can you be to accept you are lazy? Everybody here has a generator, sources for his own water, those that have cars paid in full, no car loan, some of our youths are now members of the joint task force, fighting terrorists, some are forest guards without adequate gear, No grants after finishing or during school, no respite, hardship galore, so much so that like the North we have loved our oppressors.

You can't blame a child for a parents failure, it doesn't compute.

And makes me mad when Nigerians ask it!
What else have we not done?
We have provided our own water,
Bought our own generator
Paid for our vigilante
We pay taxes, we endure the bad roads
We are plagued with insecurity
These days citizens are fighting alongside the army

Politics › Re: Nigeria @59: 9 Pictures That Will Make You Weep For Nigeria by StaffofOrayan(m): 10:27am On Sep 29, 2019
The structure cannot stand!
There is nothing to celebrate
There are no credible institutions in Nigeria
Including the presidency
Everybody does what they want
Court order be damned
Is that a country to be proud of?
How can the citizens be lawful when the leaders are lawless? The only thing keeping Nigeria from becoming Somalia is a part of Nigeria has no sympathy for religious shenanigans
The North needs to be left to its devices, it can't and should never be used to make Southern leaders feel they are better.

sreamsense:
Op, if you want to weep for Nigeria or yourself @59, you can keep weeping. It is your choice, others will have their own reasons also to celebrate! Among all the beautiful and positive pictures and events in Nigeria, these are the only ones you could find. The pictures do not reflect real Nigeria, there is no country of the world that do not have slum areas, poor people or problem they are facing internally. Even though we are not there yet as a nation, there are still rooms for improvement from government and all of us. Instead of carrying camera hunting for terrible events to snap, do little help practically to help people around you to get better lifes. No government can do it all. Trump many of us see as semi-god is facing his own with America, gun shooting and killing has increased in his first tenure despite tagging it as land of opportunity. We are the cause of our problems most times, when government provide chairs, some bad people and staffs will go and steal them and later blame government. All of us should play our parts so we can have better Nigeria. Parents should give birth to children they have financial resources and moral capability to cater for, they shouldn't give birth recklessly and expect God to take care of them on their behalves. Our leaders should play their parts well by governing right, entertainers should be good role models and they should stop modelling bad youths into our societies. Government workers should desist from eye-service, they should work with fear of God. Doctors and lecturers should stop selling little equipment and drugs government provided to laboratories and hospitals. Jobless individual should be more hardworking and get lawfull plan B to get little income without engaging in stealing, kidnapping and other attrocity. Poverty is never an excuse to engage in crime, we have poor people who do not engage in stealing while we have rich people with billions in their accounts who are still stealing and claiming other people's properties. Government should discharge his own duties and govern with constitution and fear of God. We will get there!

Education › Re: Zamfara Government Shuts Down School, Suspends Staff Over ‘Desecration’ Of Quran by StaffofOrayan(m): 10:21pm On Sep 28, 2019
The problem with Islam is that it's a cult
And only fear keeps cultists in line
Give muslims freewill and majority would wake up, that's why sharia is a must, the bloodier the better,
On this thread for example, you won't find a Muslim criticize this governor, just like a cultist would never criticize his fellow cult member, especially one 'protecting' the interest of the fraternity.

Tobinrobin:
I’m Yoruba & am a Muslim. If at this present age you still believe Bola Ahmed tinubu is fit mentally, physically, and psychologically to rule this nation at his age then you’re one of the problems. Religious bigot. No body cares who’s there Ibo, Hausa or Yoruba (Christian or Muslim) as long as they’re doing great & moving this nation forward. Who cares about their religion? This is why we Yorubas don’t progress much as a tribe, we’re always bent on destroying each other instead of collectively Moving forward. The fulanis aren’t looking to impeach Buhari, the yorubas are looking to impeach their own to put in another Fulani or an old man Yoruba. What a backward tribe
