RomanceRe: Does Romance In Relationship Need To Be Sexual To Make It Effective? Opinions by stan241(m): 4:28pm On May 04, 2015

Was the war necessary? Absolutely not but let's not pretend especially we igbos that we were the only casualties registered, it reeks of the same emotional blackmail we use up east to justify our shortcomings in National politics of today, i feel we've played this victim card for way too long and should be looking to consolidate our stand as the brightest and most dominant tribe in this country or wouldn't it be more fun ruling over a people who refused letting us secede for fear of domination

Wow... Too many mentions alll vulgar and taunts. Well, its part of the game. A huge setback though, kudos to Rochas. My joy is that PDP reclaimed Rivers state and maintained other SS states. Aluta continua...

Sai PDP
you kinda have to tone down the chest beating though cus your predictions have been way off the mark this year it contributes to you always looking like a clown

PoliticsRe: PDP Candidate, Ugwuanyi Defeats APC In Enugu Governorship Election - Daily Post by stan241(m): 12:35pm On Apr 12, 2015
seunfly:
May be they did not field popular candidate, gone are those days when people vote for party. For me I know one Apga federal honorable that won in IMO state, the man is not even rich because I still paid his hotel bill when he came for house preminary sittings, but he is very popular man because he was former radio personality.

Now people votes for personality not amount of money you spent.

The man told me his wife just borrowed 20mllion for him while his opponent spent more than 300million.
that's also correct but I'm kinda looking at it from the regional perspective sha, APGA in general hasn't really performed too well so far despite being the popular party in the east, fingers crossed for Otti and APGA in Abia
PoliticsRe: PDP Candidate, Ugwuanyi Defeats APC In Enugu Governorship Election - Daily Post by stan241(m): 12:32pm On Apr 12, 2015
pazienza:
You are right, but I am kind of baffled, I mean PDP did well in Enugu. Why change a winning team.
like seunfly above me just said people are leaning towards personality rather than party, guess those who voted the APC candidate believed in him more than Ifeanyi
PoliticsRe: PDP Candidate, Ugwuanyi Defeats APC In Enugu Governorship Election - Daily Post by stan241(m): 12:09pm On Apr 12, 2015
pazienza:
APC won in Enugu south? What? who are those efulefus that voted for APC? could it be the Hausas in New Garriki area? Nawao! Or was APC sharing money?
I believe everyone has a right to vote or be voted for, the fact they chose the APC candidate doesn't make them any less igbo than you are
PoliticsRe: PDP Candidate, Ugwuanyi Defeats APC In Enugu Governorship Election - Daily Post by stan241(m): 12:07pm On Apr 12, 2015

That is my expectation.
yea true but our so called "igbo" party in the east has done quite badly in this elections, hope Otti wins in Abia
PoliticsRe: PDP Candidate, Ugwuanyi Defeats APC In Enugu Governorship Election - Daily Post by stan241(m): 12:03pm On Apr 12, 2015

PoliticsRe: ‘enough Of Igbo Disruption In Lagos’ - Yorubas Outside Nigeria Speak by stan241(m): 1:46pm On Apr 11, 2015
I spoke on this issue on the other thread, the power and energy we use to fight for this Lagos which will always be yorubaland to me even though i grew up here would have been put to use to advocate/fight for a better south-east, are our ports functioning? What has happened to the oil in Abia and Imo? Where is our 2nd Niger bridge? The rice in Ebonyi how can we maximise it? Anambra and Enugu have the potential to be even better than Lagos but even those who live in Aba will still join mouth and call Lagos "no man's land"....Why do we still go ahead and build houses in our villages in the east if we feel Lagos does not belong to the yorubas or why do you think our fathers left for the east during the Abiola june 12 crisis? Over 23yrs being a resident of Lagos but will/ can never feel as comfortable as i do when i visit any part of the east because that to me is "home".....we should stop trying to re-write history and claiming what no matter how much we have contributed to its development will never be home....just my opinion though
