boluyongp:I thought its julius berger of Lagos abi Ogun state has two football teams ni? |
Naze millionaires all the way but that fat papa of a coach has to go biko and that mohammed boy is not cutting it in the premier league for me......And with all the boys training from ikorodu to Badagry from Monday to saturday Lagos hasn't had a team in the premier league for a while now |
EUROBOMBER:finally someone gets my point |
pazienza:lLook to each his or her own point of view, you choose to see it from that angle, I choose to see it from the angle I've always seen it growing up, Okpara and co did what they did in a different period not now when personal greed is the order of the day ok now name one "Okpara" we have currently of Igbo heritage its virtually impossible cus its all man for himself and his family these days, too many egos and vested interest to speak with a common interest so let's not delude ourselves to thinking our modern day igbo politicians have us at heart at all, the period of the Ziks, Okpara's, ojukwu's is well and truly over but in the end its a matter of personal opinion |
AdamsBashforth:Can you tell me which of the "factions" of the Ohaneze is making this current assertment cus as we well know there are now factions, its simple a house divided against itself at the top can never stand, a lot of their comments and statements always potray them as our typical politicians in the east who only care about themselves and their pockets if not i see no reason why we despite being at the forefront of the last outgoing administration can't boast of anything tangible as a reward for our support, our own regional party is barely hanging on cus of Anambra state where let's face it is pratically a PDP state, is it not the same ohaneze that went cozying up to APC immediately after the elections oh wait its the other Ohaneze, must be confusing to keep up musnt it, these people are bloody politicians and after their pockets and sure if Biafra gets a peaceful secession most peeps can remain wherever they want to be in the country but in this modern day, age and time when laziness and the internet are abound and without our "Niger Delta Brothers" and their Oil, do you think People would want to be part of a project laced with all sorts of "uncertainties", its not the love of biafra that's going to be a problem no far from it, the question is which of our current igbo leaders can we look up to and say we will all line up behind this person in our quest for not just biafra but a "United" biafra. A visit to the old threads here in the poilitics section about Anambra being better then Imo and Enugu being better than Everybody other person should give you an inkling into what i mean |
pazienza:I used the scottish because that's one I'm most conversant with but in the end aren't we both saying same thing and also the spanish/catalunya comparison won't really have the same circumstances as that of Biafra/Nigeria or Scotland/Britain because of the "people involved", I believe there are way too many questions than answers when it comes to our biafran quest, i hope to be proven wrong though |
pazienza:My brother in the end it ends up being like the scotish referendum where as enticing as it sounds to a good number, majority would still rather remain and FYI the sit at home kini was only feasible in Onitsha and parts of Aba so don't make it sound like it was generally accepted and if memory serves me right it was also on a saturday(I stand to be corrected though) |
pazienza:and where pray tell did u get your 90percent figure from? You and your friends i guess, look times have changed, a lot of igbos have made so much investment in this entity called Nigeria to just wake up and move to a world let's face it that would be riddled with "insecurities and uncertainties" like we say "igbo enweghi eze" and that's the way we are always going to be or you think the likes of OUK or Ifeanyi Ubah or Arthur Eze or any other prominent igbo businessman are ready to dump their susbstantial investments in Nigeria and start all over or why don't we ever hear them scream marginalisation and secession? wait do you also include cross rivers, rivers, delta and the rest of the south south as part of this our dream biafra land of the rising sun? The truth is majority of igbos have since moved on because our leaders back home, the ones who should champion this our biafran project are after nothing but their pockets and can never be trusted, yes the biafran dream continues but until a time when we have selfless leaders in Alaigbo it remains but a pipe dream |
Ohaneze just like Massob do not and cannot represent the majority of we the igbos because most of them are criminals only after their personal pockets, the reasonable and sensible igbo folks are all over Nigeria hustling to make ends meet and achieve their personal aims while some fat papa in Onitsha is screaming Secession....again this old man does not represent the majority of the igbos and any tribalist who uses this medium to abuse us is simply a goat |
ogawisdom:lols bros the school one attends doesn't equate to being inferior or not its a personal trait and to clarify I'm a university graduate but that doesn't becloud my sense of reasoning |
They should all shut it and let the man enter first before all this unnecessary projections on what his govt would look like surely it can't get any worse than it already is or can it? Its what all politicians do during campaigns so it shouldn't sound like GMB would be the first or the last to make promises, Nigerians majority anyways wanted something different to what they had been treated to in the last 16 yrs by the ruling party, nobody expects heaven on earth except maybe a fool but pls the electoral period is over, the man should at least be allowed to start before we run him down in typical Nigerian manner or at least wait to see what his cabinet would look like or who in this world at one point hasn't needed to be given the benefit of the doubt, I'm not expecting 24hrs power supply anytime soon but I'm optimistic things would/should improve under the incoming regime, enough of this our amala and ewedu type of politics biko |
ogawisdom:In all honesty you sound like a kid I'm sorry if you find that offensive though, man poly or uni its all about what you have upstairs, i could easily count over a 100 folks from uni days who God help us they tried to construct a correct sentence, still didn't mean they weren't brilliant though, its all about grace and what God says you will be cus in the end its just "paper" and anyone who discriminates a poly student from one who attended a university is a "racist", surely there is more to life than the school you attended what with all the jobless youths both uni and poly roaming the streets looking for jobs, your orientation needs to change ASAP |
Worthwhile heartache |
AOjoeguari:sure i get your point but unless you dating some kind of "love peddler" the guy alone shouldn't be the one doing all the spending it should be reciprocal, I'm also against guys doing all the spending but as a guy, you can't really go into a relationship and not spend that's why i said if its just the s3x you want you are better off going after a hooker |
Peter Obi should let Gov Obiano be biko, his bromance with PDP has/is quietly killing APGA together with that greedy Victor Umeh, Obiano is the present, Obi is the past so he should go and sit down and enjoy his loot or better still follow GEJ to Otuoke |
There is no need formulating a list for something such as this cus unless uve been heavily blinded as a mugu in "love", the signs will always be there |
Onye ara somebody |
If the main reason a guy approaches a lady is for "consumation" then why not go for the commercial sex workers instead, I'm sorry but your topic makes no sense whatsoever |
Many are mad but......... |
This is actually cool if young folks could take time to read it though, social media has contributed a lot to many folks not being able to "stay" in relationships for long periods cus its replaced the conventional/traditional way of doing things |
sinaj:yup cus of your signature and the topic too |
Why pray tell won't i ask a lady if she's single especially if I'm interested in her? |
Never make urself feel like an option to anyone no matter how much in "love" you feel you are in..dump his sorry bottom and move on with your life |
demmy0325:lols na why i nor even bother comment sef |
Onye ara somebody |
demmy0325:the thread nor get potential |
demmy0325:nothing o i like your land sha |
demmy0325:ah bros na wa o |
Onye ara somebody |
sinaj:had a feeling i would find you here @ op you are not alone I'm as stiff as wood when it comes to dancing no to talk of rocking |
