Wike is not interested in contesting 2027 Presidential election.

His main target is to serve as a Vice-presidential candidate in 2031, when power is expected to return back to north.

1) Obi is not the Ibo man that will become a president of Nigeria. Not 2027,2031 or year 4000!
2) Northern Governors are eyeing the presidency in 2031, Atiku and Obi are stumbling blocks to that. That is why no northern governor is backing Atiku….even his own state governor.
3) For the same reason they are not supporting Atiku in 2027, they won’t back Obi in 2031…….they want 2031 for themselves, to do that, south must have no excuse for contesting, I.e south must have completed its 8yrs by 2031.
4) the play for Northern governors is to eliminate Atiku and Obi in one chess move. Once they sabotage both Atiku and Obi in 2027, the are both removed from the equation and any other competitors from the south for 2031.

If you can’t see or understand the play, you don’t understand politics.

The nature of Nigerian politics and our zoning arrangement is that the opportunity to become president is also hinged on established zoning arrangements but also how it affects the ambitions of the people whose support you need particularly governors. The situation of North east can’t be the same with south south, north west and north central. Those are neutral zones without any interest on the ticket. The governors in those zones will be very influential in deciding who wins the state.

If they are neutral zones , then why are you saying that Tinubu will secure 80 votes in NC and SS ?

Remember the word you used " NEUTRAL " Did NC, SS and NW give any candidates block votes in 2023 ? No. The same thing will happen again in 2027. Their votes will be divided and shared.

Your obsession with governors is your problem. Many Apc and also pdp governors lost their states to opposition in 2023. The same will happen again in 2027.

The only regions that will give block votes is SE, SW and NE because their sons will be top candidates of Apc and ADC. Be it president or VP.

The remaining votes in NC, SS and NW will be shared. Any candidates that has the highest shares there will the winner.
