In a recent post on his official X handle, Wednesday, July 9, 2025, Senator Sani called on Peter Obi, former Anambra governor and Labour Party leader, to stop focusing on Soludo and instead challenge the police to publish a full list of those arrested or wanted for crimes in Anambra over the last four years.

According to him, publishing such names will reveal the true ethnic background of the suspects and put an end to the growing speculations and accusations of ethnic bias.

Sani questioned why Obi and others were quick to attack Soludo without first verifying the facts behind the governor’s statement, insisting that the real issue lies in the identities of those committing crimes in the state, not in Soludo's choice of words.

He stated that demanding those names from security agencies is the only way to clear the air and put an end to the political back-and-forth.

Senator Sani concluded that the outrage directed at Soludo will remain “political gymnastics” until Obi takes the bold step of seeking the truth from the right sources.
