boss, I know what happened in 1999 and the fact that the founding fathers of PDP that gave the slot to the two yorubas are igbos, but there have been a disruption with the emergence of APC in 2015. So, there have been many events that will not make that rotation happen this time that the igbos themselves rejected APC from unset. Our political investment is in PDP and they would have given the ticket to an Igbo man but did other igbos in the party stood in one accord? No. Even Wike who is very close to the igbos has to play his own personal game.

Aside, look at how El rufai fought for Tinubu when they planned to give the ticket to another person. Did other South East PDP governors fight for their rights when Wike was trying to scheme the south east out? None was vocal.
So, my point is that since many events haven taken place, we should have remained in PDP work for Atiku's Emergence then grab the presidency after him with his Northern popularity. Rather we are here clamoring for a better Nigeria which No other region believes in.

No region in the South is special.

But I think the SW just play better politics. We have been able to gain more from Northern alliance than the SE.

1979/1983 SE/North alliance did not provide an Igbo presidency.
Tinubu/Buhari alliance might provide a Yoruba presidency.

The North just use SE in their alliance and dump them, but the West usually benefit from te alliance afterward. Even MKO was able to at least win in the North.

1979/1983 SE/North did not provide an Igbo president is because of the Buhari led Military coup that overthrow the Democratically elected government of shagari in 1984. It has nothing to do with use and dump. The military interfare and remove the government unconstitutionally through the barrel of gun.

Without that coup, Ekwueme would have succeeded Shagari as the president in 1987.
