Read What Buhari Told Jonathan During Secret Meeting
Facts have now emerged on the reason behind the secret meeting held at Aso Rock Villa between former president Goodluck Jonathan and his successor, President Muhammadu Buhari.
It was learnt that the meeting was facilitated by former head of state Gen. Abdulsalami Abubakar, The Nation reports.
Abubakar headed the 2015 elections peace committee that paved way for peace before, during and after the 2015 general elections.
The meeting was coming on the heels of complaints by Jonathan that Buhari is not sticking to the peace accord they signed prior to March 28, 2015 presidential election.
Jonathan had hoped to stop the probe of his administration over alleged misappropriation of fund under his watch.
However, the president had insisted that all looted funds must be returned. A source who does not want to be named due to the sensitivity of the issue said the president told Jonathan that he had nothing to fear at all.
It was gathered that the outcome of the session between Buhari and Jonathan could have informed Vice President Yemi Osinbajo’s statement at the weekend. The VP said the anti-corruption fight of the present administration is not focused on Jonathan.
It is believed in some quarters that Jonathan was not happy that Buhari had moved against his ex-national security adviser, ex-chief security officer and some ministers.
The source said Jonathan prevailed on Abubakar’s committee to beg Buhari not to‘rubbish’ is administration.
He said: “For some weeks, Jonathan has been in the country to iron out some issues on his government. Based on Jonathan’s complaint, Abdulsalami made efforts – five times- to get in touch with Buhari but the ex-Head of State could not get through on time. I think Buhari already had security reports on Jonathan’s emissary.”
At some point, the former head of state met brick wall in securing audience with president Buhari but some past presidents had to prevail on Buhari to give the committee a chance to mediate.
The source added: “This was how Abdulsalami succeeded in securing an appointment from Buhari for Jonathan with a caveat that the immediate past President should feel free to bare his mind.
“Jonathan said he was hearing some of the allegations, especially financial sleaze, against his administration for the first time. He made it clear that he had nothing to do with some of these corrupt practices.
“He said whatever steps or actions the President intends to take; it should be within the framework of the peace accord the two leaders signed. Obviously, he wanted soft landing. He also pledged to cooperate with Buhari as much as possible on all steps he is going to take .”
Buhari had stated during the meeting that Jonathan had nothing to fear but insisted that there was no going back on the recovery of looted funds.
“The President reassured Jonathan that he has no personal agenda against him. But he insisted that whatever was stolen from the treasury must be returned ,” the source said.

10 reasons why you shouldn't live in the hostel or Why you should live off campus.
1. Financial Management: You tend to envisage the future and spend wise since you wouldn't want to Trek to school till you're reimbursed.
2. It's really annoying keeping two cups of rice in your locker with High hopes of cooking it whenever you get to the hostel, but, finding out someone took it. At the end, You both laugh it off. Remember, laughter doesn't stop hunger.
3. You'ld agree with me guys that at times we just have to be alone. Being alone makes you sober and Re-analyse your entire existence, Purpose at school. It's not always about finding someone beside. You learn to be independent through thorny paths.
4. As an hostelite, your life is planned around people. You can't decide you what you want to do at certain times. The time you want to do serious full reading is when Some "audu'', "'chike'' and "Kunle'' would launch an argument on how Japan could have averted the Hiroshima-Nagasaki Havoc. That's when Titi would start talking about the beauty of Rihanna. This wouldn't be funny for peeps who hate reading at libraries and Classes.
5. Although, The cleaners come daily and wash the toilets, Some peeps are basically Wicked. They Use the toilet without flushing...Don't let me get started Biko. Wheeew! Annoying, Isn't it?
6. You really can't understand how annoying it is looking for a space at the library during exams. everywhere is always filled. Now, as An off-kite, I sit at he comfort of my room, Read for as long as I want without disturbance, take a short nap when necessary.
7.Privacy. Cannot be over emphasized. That awkward feeling you get when you keep two cups of rice your Locker (the very last) and it gets missing before you return. pheeeeeew! and you really can't fight who took it. you both laugh it off.
8 Theft: Lagos boys hostel inhabitants, I hail oo...
9. We can't be always be serious 24/7 365 days. Some peeps love Music. They love it loud. This isn't possible in hostels.
10. Visitors aren't allowed in hostels. You can't Cook with Gas, Hot plates. Just stove. Everyone knows when you're eating Turkey and when you're drilling garri. Transportation shouldn't be an issue if you're a good time manager. Why not sit back in the class and revise the day's work while others struggle for buses. Then you Just stroll down to the Park when the queue shortens. Morning hustle isn't an issue if you get to the bus stop early.

under the boys hostel we have
i) The Commoners( Cheap)
ii) Post Graduate Hostel(Very Very Expensive)

2) Your space; very important for a student to have..your space entails your privacy, your ability to shut the door to any disturbances and distractions. but on Campus, it is nearly impossible.. balls dangling everywhere, guys chanting "Up Enyinmba, Down Chelsea" in the waiting room .

3) Your Comfort : Live off K and your comfort depends on your pocket.. live on K and its totally a different thing. Firstly you get the Gay Joy of staying in a room filled with 4-8 Boys all wearing boxers..dangling stuffs all over the place. . Secondly if you could afford the Commoners.. you will live in a filthy environment..the toilets are bad and filthy, the rooms are old and Rusty, your stuffs get stolen on a regular, You sleep on a filthy bug infested bunk bed. How cool is that ? No TV.. No fridge..No Personal Kitchen ..just A poor environment for you to enjoy.

4) No Visitation Palava: This is still the worst of all.. You cant receive visitors, They all wait in the common room where Most guys Chant Up *** .. Imagine you have a babe that wants to visit you...

Summary of the interview. An interview was held this afternoon on unilorin FM 89.3 with the school registrar Mr E.D Obafemi He said the school can’t resume unless the Unilorin 2015/16 second batch is released. He also said the NUC has approved to the school to admit more 2000 students to the given quota. Now the school will admit 9800+. According to the senate meeting they had today the second list will be released soon.. He said all remedial students were admitted in the currently released list and that is the more reason why enough JAMB UTME candidates were not admitted. The school can’t resume unless the second list is out. He said Acceptance fee can be paid to the required bank N20,000 So, the registrar advised all the 2015 Aspirants to wait… that the only time admission will cease to take place is after matriculation. He said he will contact the administration about the payment of acceptance fee immediately he leaves the interview so that the portal can be opened for payment.
